Intergalactic Fishing is a fishing RPG where you travel to alien planets to catch and study fish to help repopulate and rehabilitate your home lake. It is graphically simple but captures more of the spirit of real fishing than most so-called simulators. Check it out!

About this game:
In Intergalactic Fishing you play as an angler tasked with solving the mystery of what is causing the fish to die in your local lake. You must travel to many different lakes all over the universe, exploring, catching fish, gathering data, completing quests, upgrading your gear, and talking with other anglers and scientists in order to figure out what is going on.

Really digging your game selections for NL Tries recently.
Also, weirdly enough, thanks for slowing down/varying up the outro. I often forget to leave a like, and when the outro sounds exactly the same every time, I’m not consciously listening anymore. I know that’s a tall ask for 5+ videos a day, but I do appreciate it when you do it.

I mean who am I to judge how fishing works, but I think reeling it in constantly aint the best strat.
This is such a comfy game! Everything, from the menu-based interface, to the overall design, to the simple presentation, remind me of the 90s titles in a good way. Love it.

Lately I've been watching mostly Mario Maker, so the front of your face is suprising but very pleasing sight.
NLs good ol' Toronto boy comes through heavy when he says lure.
And the intergalactic fish fell from the heavens. Pogs etched on their angelic faces. Like, comment and subscribe they harked.
I'll be honest, I started out kinda bored but ended the video super into it and ready to watch you fish and dissect some stuff.

Thanks for playing, NL. Clearly based on Dick Olsen's DOS games Bass Class and BassTour from 92 and 93 respectively. Played the first one a lot whenever I was home sick from school. Forced me to go on a long abandonware hunt ha ha ha ha

I can actually see myself playing this. Game seems real chill. NL's just so impatient.

Channeling Neil Degrasse Tyson onto this game's premise:
- we have the tech to warp around the universe
- yet we don't have the tech to figure out why fish don't like a lake
- the lake's town is suffering from declining fishing, in spite of the fact you can zoom around the world or universe to any lake, why does location matter
- let's fix the lake with alien fish, what could go wrong
The main problem is what's wrong with me that I think like this
once again I have reached pog nirvana, I have found enlightenment from the pog.

This is the game you get in game dev tycoon when you choose 'fishing' and 'RPG' as your game types, and keep the points in music, graphics, and engine all low.
This game looks extremely comfy

One day when I have millions of dollars I want to pay a team of people and create a sick Fishing ARPG with a massive world where all of the fish are like monsters and you have to fight them when you land them and your fishing rod doubles as a sword/bow/weapon of choice. I'm thinking style and gameplay similar to Zelda BotW meets Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. IT'S AN UNTAPPED MARKET. I have thought about this game so much that I could go on typing about it for hours bc I've thought about story elements, monsters, fish, areas, weapons and combat, UI, etc etc, but basically I feel like it'd be the ultimate honker game.
