Looks great.. i remember when i went through my mid life crisis around 20 years ago. 2 Harleys, a nice tent, and a motorhome.. now I ride my couch watching other people go through their 2nd childhood.. good to see you are having fun with it..😊
I live across the street from Jim believe me he has worked on this for some time BUT it was well worth it this is the first time I have saw it since he finished it... LOOKS GOOD JIM
@jimkaraok on the shower scene is that just a residential shower you get from lowes home depot etc etc as well as your grey tank is it mounted under the trailer? Nice ctc im going this weekend to look at trailers myself to convert into toyhauler for my harley
This little place is a real cutie! I love the decor and the layout! It looks so cozy and comfy. Awesome tv set up and I like the openness and simplicity of the drop down tables. They also show that if you have a good eye and sense of style, you can make anything look great!
I am feeling better. Keep in mind, this video was shot back in June when I was not sick, just fat. Lol. But yes, the antibiotics are finally kicking and I feel a little better each day.
Yes, I am feeling better. Keep in mind that this walk thru video was filmed back in June at the Tiny House Adventures Rendezvous in Missouri. But yes, the antibiotics are finally kicking in and I'm feeling better everyday.
@@billanddeb I figured you had to prepare it for upload which takes energy and time. However, you are probably a pro and it doesn’t take you much to edit.
That is very well thought out. Only thing I saw I would add is a half self in the little cupboard over the fridge. Nice job. I use throw rugs over cold floor and roll up to dust mop out trailer and shake rugs outside. The floors are always cold in cold weather. Happy living
I love the whole setup, but especially the large shower, kitchen and the whole solar electrical combination….you did a great job. Curious how much everything costs? I am still trying to decide what I want. Thank you!
I’d imagine if that floor isn’t insulated, that airbed would be rather cold in the spring and fall. Certainly not a complaint, just an observation. Very nice build, bye the way!
My husband and I wondered what underlayment Jim used on the ceiling and we assumed you Glued it??? If so what kind of glue and was it a pain to do? Thank you!!
We've covered this subject in the past. Private campgrounds generally do not accept Cargo Trailer Conversions. However, Deb and I have found a couple here and there that do. That's why 99% of the time we stay in US Army Corp of Engineer campgrounds and State Parks. No hassle there. In fact, we prefer these types of campgrounds for a multitude of reasons. First and foremost,,,,,,,price. If you're 62 and over, you qualify for the America The Beautiful Senior Pass which gets you a 50% discount at all federally managed campgrounds. A typical COE site is rarely more than $30 per night, and with the Senior Pass that equates to $15 per night. Most have water and electric at the site, and some have sewer at the site. In addition, you're not crammed in like sardines, and, most of these campgrounds are next to a beautiful river or lake.
Interesting videos. I don’t see any of them mention or discuss the main # 1 feature of any build That is torsion axles and Vault Hubs. Pulling these trailers all over the roads, leaf springs that break and old school packing bearings is never fun I may need to do a Cargo Conversion instead of those over rated expensive RVs..
A few of our walk thru videos have featured those with torsion axles. The biggest issue I've seen is inadequate ground clearance. I have yet to hear anyone say they can be adjusted for higher ground clearance. Low ground clearance creates a multitude of issues when it comes to sewer drains, etc. In addition, those torsion axles I have seen on Cargo Trailer Conversions have the same spindles and bearings with quick lube hubs.
just upgrade the axles to 7000 pounds each torque flex , eight lug , will ride same ,hit curbs all day ,go off road , never get flat , i switch my landscaping trailer to this ,and haven’t changed a flat tire since clipping curbs
They seem to be okay with it. Everyone has their own preferences. That's the beauty of building your own. You build it with the features that are important to you. 😆
Love when guys talk about things “I” own and women talk about what “we” own.

Great layout, multi use, ....excellent design Jim and Linda!!!

I love the inconspicuous nature of the build. Retaining functionality with ingenuity, very nice build!
Great 19yr old car hauler! The window made with shower curtain is beautiful.
I love what they did with the shower curtains genius.
I thought that that was going to be very complicated and it turned out to be very simple😊
Thank you
@@jimkaraok also like its a camper & can b a toy hauler. Neat.

Thank you Bill. I love your videos especially the walk through stuff. I’m glad you were able to post and I pray you heal soon.

Cracked me up when he said "Murial". Big difference from us southerners
That’s really nice, they did a great job.

The most impressive shower I have seen. Nice video.
Really nice rig. Thanks for sharing Bill. Glad you and Deb are on the mend.
This size trailer might be the only size house I'll ever be able to afford.
My aunt was named Muriel. Nice rig!
Very nice trailer. Great build.Nice meeting y’all in Greenville. Keith and Patty.
I love this! They did a wonderful Job!
😲 wow beautifully creative design
Iwould want at least one window to look out and for more airflow. Other than that this a really nice build.
Man that’s a awesome setup❤
How discrete! I love it!
They did a great job!!!
Simple, but very efficient!!! I love it💞💞💞
Great job.

Love the walk thrus
Very nice setup.
Very nice well thought out
Nice rig.
Beautiful indeed . . GREAT JOB‼️🫵🏼🙂👍🏼
Nice rig Jim and Linda! Very nice!
Great idea. I could live in that year round. Especially with the cost of housing being so high.
So unexpected, but so pleasantly surprised!
Awesome build! Lots of thought and time I hope you get a ton of use out of it.
Love ❤️ the tiny house community
Shower curtain?! Fantastic!
Yes a great, simple idea
Nice 👍👍
Nice job
Thanks for sharing!!
P.S. I am so stealing the shower curtain thing 😊
What is the toung weight? Very nice build.

Nice.😊
My buddy has a 7x20 with 8 foot ceiling he’s actually thinking about maybe putting bunkbeds in his I said that might be kind of cool lol
Bill, I hope you and Deb are doing okay. ❤️
Nice!
Nice toyhauler, where does the bed go when the toys are loaded?
It looked like an inflatable bed to me.
We never really talked about it. Sorry.
That is an air mattress that we just roll up and put out of the way
My husband and I wondered what underlayment Jim used on the ceiling and we assumed you
Glued it??? If so what kind of glue and was it a pain to do?
Thank you!!
It's called Luan
i would love to trade my 5th wheel camper for this
Can I ask where the 2025 meetup might be. From Tampa . Thanks
We always announce dates and locations of our Rendezvous around 6 months in advance right here on the TH-cam channel. Stay tuned.
I don't understand about what's so stunning about the interior?
Guess it's all in the eyes of the beholder. Different strokes.......
I wonder if they are having problems getting into RV parks. A lot of parks have a requirement that the RV have an RVIA approved certification.

Bill I am finishing a 8x20 trailer, is there a reason why I couldn’t put a residential toilet in it except for weight
I can't think of any reason.
The shaking back and forth is hard on the tank seals. You have to take the lid off when you are traveling. I had one and the tank eventually broke.
Is that an air mattress?
Yes. I have a double height queen like that one. Very convenient and a bit easier on older knees than single height.
Kool
I mean why not install a few small windows. It be worth it yes.
A window is nice, but remember, every small space is important. A window space removes storage space, so everyone's needs are different.
Love that awesome shower!! 💦
When you get drunk just walk over and fall into bed.
This is a man cave which speaks more to his marriage than camper life.
They like to drink 😂
all that was cheaper than buyin one?
Most likely, yes. In addition, if repairs need to be made, they can easily do. They built it.
That is FANTASTIC! Great job!
At 5:15. The Devil will like that too ???
Couldn't they find a "bigger" TV?? Ha Ha
That trailer needs windows.
