In case you didn't know, this song was based around bassist Nikki sixx being brought back to life by paramedics giving him adrenaline shots to the heart after a heroin overdose. I can't ever drive slowly to this track 😁
The epitomy of 80s Metal, they were there from the beginning. When I think about Hollywood/Sunset strip you can't help thinking about Motley Crue, Shout at the devil is probably my favorite album from them. From start to finish it has has that 80s Metal look & sound with catchy guitar fiffs all over the place.
@@gracieb.3054 I saw Theater of pain and girls girls girls, I can't remember why I missed Doctor Feelgood but I did. After that Vince solo like a dozen times. AC/DC was the loudest concert, I had ringing for 3 days. It may have been where I was standing, I don't recommend anyone standing next to the monitors If they value their hearing.
November 17, 1989, Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Dr. Feelgood Tour... What A Show... $18.50 for a kick-ass rock show. Tommys drum kit for his solo was mounted on a track that was suspended from the ceiling so he could strap into the chair and it rolled out partially over the crowd. Warrant was the opener and put on a good show, but Crue always brought it and you left drained... great times at so many rock shows in the 80s.
I had this tape when it came out and listened to it constantly. My mom busted me listening to this album when I was supposed to be listening to Spanish tapes bc I wasn't doing very well in Spanish at the time. 😆 Good times!
One minor correction here, if you don't mind - "Louder Than Hell" was from the Theatre of Pain album in 1985, along with their cover version of "Smokin' In The Boys Room" and "Home Sweet Home" (still my top favorite to this day!) Peace!
Dudes, watch the official video for Cue's "Wild Side". TRUST me! Do a reaction! 🤘 Bt the way, that "sound with his mouth", during the guitar solo, was made with a devide called a "talk box"...the most well known example in classic rock being Peter Frampton's song "Do You Feel Like We Do".
Back when the Crue got started they were the best thing going for about five years. I saw them live several times from 1981-1986 and they put on a hell of a show. Every time after that when I saw them live I left disappointed, not that they were horrible, just that I knew how great they once were.
Listen to Wildside by Motley Crue. It is literally the song that got me into Heavy metal. (Yes, I had heard metal before, but THAT song got me to buy my first Metal album)
Samuel I get what your saying but the “talkbox” is part of the guitar solo. He is playing there. The voice is integrated with the amp and the guitar being played. Very cool effect.
By the way, Lucas? Put on a jean jacket with a band logo on the back, a t-shirt with a cool graphic (and maybe an unbuttoned flannel plaid shirt between that and the jean jacket if you want too), ripped jeans, and high-top Nike basketball sneakers, and a chain attached to a wallet (and maybe a leather bracelet with metal studs) and, with that hair you could pass for an 80s metal head! 🤘
Sam Kinison was driving the hospital car thang whatever it is lol, you should react to him. He's a comedian, but he covered Wild Thing with many '80s bands in the video. Very fun.
There are two main “laws” in regards to this song: no speaker in the world can make this song justice, and you should never listen to it while driving 😂😂😂 You know how this song was created? Well, bassist Nikki Sixx died of a heroin overdose in 1987, was resurrected with two adrenaline shots to the heart, gave it a “kickstart”, and he wrote the song on a napkin. Originally, Nikki weren’t going to include it on the Dr Feelgood album in ‘89, but the band convinced him otherwise… it was the album’s second biggest hit, behind the title song Dr Feelgood, if I’m not mistaken…. This is a KILLER song… (btw, edit, the scene with Nikki’s legs on fire is 100% real, they actually set him on fire for the show, in the start primarily)
Good stuff, as the BEST version of this Classic Metal Riff is the “Live in Dallas, Texas” (via the Decade of Decadence ‘81-‘91 Album) as it has been a workout track for me over the last three decades. Still gets the blood pumpin. 🍻🤘🏼🍻 I’ll leave you both with this thought, if the version above does not increase your blood pressure, you might want to see a Dr. 🤣🤘🏼😂
Welcome to old school boys, I'm 60, I'm one stripe away from my black belt in BJJ, I've been sick twice in 35 years, I was listening to this before you were born, I'm a big Andrew Tate supporter, he's being framed. You young guys are supper smart, Welcome to the brotherhood. Support from Australia 🇦🇺 guy's. Try some Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Kansas, Boston, Deep Purple, Joe Walsh, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, ZZ Top, SRV, Judas Priest, Metallica, ACDC, Rose Tattoo, Iron Maiden, that should keep you running hot for a while.
You should react to SIXX AM WE WON'T GO QUIETLY It is a band that was formed by the original founder of motley Crue Nikki Sixx Which is making music at this time in
I think you guys would get a kick out of Motley Crue's song "Girls Girls Girls" if you're really looking to drive fast try Molly Hatchet "Flirtin' with Disaster" or Deep Purple "Highway Star"
Late 80s because they all got clean and sober for this record. Ever see”The Dirt” I watched it like it was a horror movie. Because it was. Seriously how are they all still alive??
The crew and everybody that likes to rock and roll their band they made a documentary Called the dirt it's on Netflix check it out It's on it's totally pretty much how the 80s were it's like on your dial on your radio it goes to 10 it was never 10 in the 80s it was always on 15 or 20 everyday all day long 24 7 it never stopped until the beginning of the 2,000 that's how crazy it was sorry U Miss out 😆😜 always in overdrive at all times I loved it but I'm glad is gone man fun times fun fun fun and fun times LOL.
If you are getting into the heavier stuff (i.e. hard rock and heavy metal) give a try to the German metal band Accept too. The title track to the album "Balls To The Wall" is EPIC, and Vince Neil (Crue's lead singer) was allegedly influenced, in part, by Accept's lead singer of the time, Udo Dirkschneider. More reactions! Official vid! You could also try Judas Priest...and there are others...
I appreciate you guys trying to appreciate this. But if you didnt live it, you'll never truly get it. You probably will never know who drove the ambulance... That's sad in itself..
Motley Crue fucking ruled the 80's guys!!!
Metallica would like a word.
In case you didn't know, this song was based around bassist Nikki sixx being brought back to life by paramedics giving him adrenaline shots to the heart after a heroin overdose. I can't ever drive slowly to this track 😁
And who found him and called the paramedics initially? Slash.

*Epitome. I saw them on the Dr. Feelgood tour (1989-1990). I literally was deaf for 24 hours after the concert!
Shout at the devil is probably my favorite album too
@@gracieb.3054 I fixed it, thanks.

I’m not sure any musical artist or band has ever made a better song than this, every note is perfect start to finish
its a good song, but nowhere near MCs best lol
This came out in 1989. They put out some great tunes. Dr. Feel-good, wild side, Shout at the Devil. Look to kill, too young to fall in love.
Love Motley
Sunset Strip in the 80's ...NOHING BETTER!!!
Glad you two dig this🤟🤟 Long Live Rock and Roll!

That's a talk box on the guitar. It's actually really cool! Maybe it's an acquired taste.
Got my first speeding ticket with this song on.
Many people received speeding tickets because of this song, myself included.
wild Side by the Crew. It will change your life.
Fire song
I love 80s Rock! Def Leppard rocks too. Their Hysteria album was huge.
This song is played at sports arenas all around the world to this day. Great pick me up song
Nice song!

Love “the Crüe” excellent show & loudest band I’ve ever seen live & that includes Van Halen, Metallica, Guns & Roses + many others
As a teen in the 80s i was more into Slayer Megadeth Metallica etc. But I did see Crue in 87 and it was a awesome fun time.
Live Wire and Louder Than Hell from their first album released in 1981

Play it on takeoff, any flight, it’s an experience.
The dirt on Netflix. Their story. Great movie
Dude on the left looks Depeche Mode and Dude on the right looks Country.
I reckon you guys would prefer Motley Crue's single Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away). Starts slower, then builds.
Dr. Feelgood Album released. 1989
The vocoder is still used today, its called autotune. instead of a guitar, the synth is the host instument. lol This was the 80's.

Music like the 80's metal music shows why it sucks to be born after 1990 when it was played on the radio and all the concerts during the 80's.

Hearing Joe Walsh should change your opinion of the talk box…
Are you guys sharing pods? Get correct headphones to do these reviews.
PLEASE listen to SO DAMN PRETTY (should be against the law) by Warrant, great song.
Check out Ozzy - Mr. CROWLY with Randy Rhodes if you want to see a great guitar solo
Cheese rock but this is there best song
Mick is using a talk box. Was distortion for singers and popular at the time

Doctor Feelgood came out in 1989
Another crazy metal suggestion for your "worthy" playlist: Metallica's Whiplash, from the "Kill 'Em All" album. Very fast tempo and guitar shredding!
Why are the not in the hall I'll never know
React 2 wild side banger
Playing this and Deep Purples Highway Star in the car will endanger your drivers license.
This song was written because Nikki Sixx overdosed..and they had to use adrenaline to literally kick start his heart
Sucks y'all missed out on the '80s. The music, the girls, the parties!!! WOW!!! Almost too much 😆😆😆
The old panty melter...
I appreciate you guys trying to appreciate this. But if you didnt live it, you'll never truly get it. You probably will never know who drove the ambulance... That's sad in itself..
If you don't like the talk box don't react to Peter Frampton....who made it famous.
Crap Hair Rock...they were all trying to be Led Zeppelin! Come on guys, do real rock!
