Slippery sure, but if the ground had softened in the wet could have flipped it and especially when he went from grass to track, could have caught and flipped... Lucky day
@@loadsofshite4887 I already got on that guy that was good comeback but BMWs are actually very reliable you just gotta keep up on basic maintenance nothing bad every happens to them they’re built and engineered to be driven hard
Real reason why this happened is because before this race he was abusing the car on the track + drifting ate the tyres then aquaplaned on the flooded runway

Happen once on my f30 330i around 185km/h, a mild turn left tires started to spin gas release manage to keep straight, a scary exp for sure, make sure you got good tires and slow down in rain. Once you lose it that not much can do
I have 1 series and it did start skidding on autobahn... Relased the gas pedal and managed to control it back to straight. But believe me when i say i was shitting bricks
No it didn’t lose control Jeremy and you should of know how socked that run way was it was only a mater of how fast do I need too go before the tyre tread gets full of water has no traction anymore and aqua plain like Its on ice 🤦♂️
Yes, but also, why hasn't any other car tested in the rain randomly spun off at high speed like that? Theres been plenty of spin outs around turns but that's the only one I can recall spinning out in a straight line.
I have the 1 series and ive converted it the frontwheel drive and swapped the engine to a 1.2 corsa, im currently running 84hp and lapped the ring in under 7 mins. Pm for more sumo tunes.
Only Jeremy Clarkson can spin out at 120mph and be totally calm abt it 🤣
It like he hit a massive puddle and slip when it doesn’t have perfect wet tires for it
He had so much luck he didn’t roll over
It was very slippery.

No it’s grass not dirt
@@idiotonbike i mean, if hammond was driving...
I know its dark... sorry
Also because he didn't just slam the brakes on. He let the wheels turn enough to not flip or roll.
Could win this in reverse.......proceeds to lose it in reverse.
massively underappreciated comment
I love that the bmw bong goes on like 2 times when he is skidding 😂
One day a BMW will be able to do a straight line without spinning
Or maybe one day You can afford a BMW: D
same for ford mustangs

It was this video that convinced me to buy an M135i. 😂
he wants to put in reverse to get the new FWD architecture 🤣
Real reason why this happened is because before this race he was abusing the car on the track + drifting ate the tyres then aquaplaned on the flooded runway
I wonder if he turned the DSC (dynamic stability control) off in order to do wheel spins then forgot to turn it back on for the drag race....
Sounds like excuses from BMW owners

Cheers Jeff!
Stop saying aquaplane sounds weird say hydroplane
lol I would never be this calm, how does Jeremy do it lol
this happend to me with my 335i on the road thankfully no one got hurt and the car has a dent now on the rear

The water puddles are like landmines
What episode?
Was the stable control deactivated?
This really is a OH FUCKING HELL
I skipped over a slight bump going hard in mine. Full sideways, but traction gathered it up thank fuck.
that's fast
imagine if this happened to someone on the autobahn
