I don’t recommend. The wood scales are not durable, mine broke after 1 year. Repaired them and they broke again. Plastic or Alex are better options, sadly.
Not holding up huh. Yep, I guess I'll have to baby mine.
I like that this wooden scaled SAK still has the scale tools; a lot of the other ones I've seen don't. Very cool. 😎👌Thanks for sharing, take care my friend and Cheers!
Yea I've noticed that too. Gotta have the tools right? Thanks, Toad.
Great knife. Looks different with wood covers. Thanks for sharing, Live Long Prosper and Collect Your Own Way!
The wood is really nice. Surprisingly so. Thanks, Stan.
Very Nice I like this one I imagine it does feel better in hand. It's certainly a good looking knife real classy. Talking about cutting ourselves I take a blood thinner for a heart condition. My wife tells me all the time you couldn't have a worse hobby so everytime i nic or do worse I tell her I mash scrape etc... anything except cut but she knows they always know . LOL Thanks for sharing it TK
Be careful, Doug. No cuts! My dog can be really grumpy. Just have to be wiser when he's napping, which he does a lot of. Thanks, Doug.
Interesting that this has scale tools. I have an Evowood 14 and that doesn't. I don't miss them terribly (especially the gross toothpick!) but it's an interesting point of detail.
Seems many fewer have them than don't. Thanks, Luke.
nice knife- I surprised that it has the scale tools
Yes there's many that don't. Thanks, Kathleen.
Victorinox does a great job on their wood handled knives. Or, any of their knives for that matter.
I was surprised how quality the wood was. Thanks, CDN.
I would treat the wood with wood lacquer if I were you, it's a beautiful piece. 👍👍
Nice suggestion! Thanks, Michael.
I am surprised they kept the scale tools with the wood scales. That is awesome! Very handsome knife. Your title on the thumbnail is perfect!
Not all of them have the scale tools, so be careful what you buy. Thanks, Eric.
The only time i ever used the corkscrew was in 1988.
I see no reason to EDC one
There's other creative uses for it. Thanks Anar.
Is this a special edition? I've never seen the wood handles with tweezers and toothpick
No I'm not sure why it has them when so many don't. Might be a newer option. Something to look out for.
I’ve shopped from DLTtrading before and they’re great. I loved the wood scales with the tweezer and toothpick. I might pick one up too.
DLT Trading has some nice exclusives. Good to know, let us know how you like it, Tim.
Just used my Victorinox Farmer to lift the cap on a bottle of Senorial soda pop while watching your video . Thanks TK 👍
Heck yea, sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing, Prop.
Mine doesn’t Have scale tools
I'd no idea this feature would not be more available. Thanks, Kevan.
To be honest I prefer the wooden scales
I can see that. Thanks, Smiley.
The wooden scales SAKs are exceptional 🔥 awesome review John, will have to get some of that feed & wax for mine
Thanks, Slippy. Feed and wax your wood, to keep it well hydrated.
I sent one of these to my friend in Ohio He says he loves it
These are great! Nice gift! Thanks, Terrill.
It's the wood that makes it good.
Great looking wood I agree. Thanks, Bob.
Great looking knife! The wood rocks! Appreciate you taking the time to share. Good job my friend!
Thank you for watching the good wood. I really like the way the look, likely to get some more in the future. Take care, David.
The wood scales look awesome. Now you have me thinking about getting a Huntsman version. Especially since I’ve been carrying a Huntsman with red scales for several years now. Thank you for sharing this.
It gives them a nice look, so certainly something to consider. Thanks, Try N
Really like that John….
The Spartan is one of my favourites for urban carry…
That wood look’s really nice, even nicer after you treated it!
I’ve never picked up any Vic’s with the wood scales, feeling the need to now 😀.
To be honest I didn’t think they had the scale tools…
Fantastic video, catch you soon brother 😎👊🏻
Thanks very much, Sean. Dunno why I waited so long to try one. Terrific looking!
That's a beautiful knife👍This past Christmas I got my first wood handled SAK as well, a 111mm Forester. But, on that particular model, they do not come with the tweezers and toothpick. Thanks for the look at this one, buddy!
Thanks for the info! Yes, I wanted this one specifically because it had them. Thanks, David.
Hey TK , nice looking Vic combining two things I lack in my Vic collection , a Spartan and one with wooden scales .
Those covers are looking really good .
Your pooch sounds like he has the same thing mine does , " small dog syndrome" .
Hope to catch your live later , A T B Tony . 🏴
Awesome, you might wanna try one out then. Yep, the little guy can get awful moody.
A great looking knife indeed !!
These handles are great, I;m already looking to find some others with them. Thanks, Doing.
Nice woody ! I likey!
Thanks, Loren. The wood is really attractive.
I have a wood handles one as well because that was all that was left in stock about a year ago. Pretty nice. Thank you for sharing buddy.
Thanks, Bladewalker. Very happy I tried this out. They're more traditional looking than the red scales.
Very nice. I didn't think the wooden scales had tools. Definitely going to add one to my collection🙏👊
I've seen a lot of them that don't, so I guess be sure you know which version you are getting. Thanks, Alan.
Have you found a Victorinox Swiss Army knife With wooden scales with tools yet?
That wood does look great. It kinda gives it a more traditional pocket knife look and probably feel. Thanks TK
100%, totally agree. The quality is much better than I expected also. Thanks, Dean.
The wood scales are a great alternative to their usual red scales, thanks for showing it, TK.
I completely agree, Jose. A nice looking alternative.
Never seen one with the scale tools and I always like having them on a sak - great model the spartan 👍
Thanks Gaz. Pretty sure most wooden scaled ones don't have the tools so be diligent.👍
Those wood covered SAKs are neat.😊
They are, really nice looking wood on them. Thanks, Michael.
A whole new knife with those covers
Really nice change up from the red scales.
