Hey folks! Let me know in the comments if you agreed with my build, what card think should be added instead, and what commander from March of the Machine you want me cover in future video's!
I like the deck, but in my (very unprofessional) opinion the deck feels too reliant on the commander. With Graaz’s high cost and the table will need to always hold removal for him. If your opponents hold even just 3 removal spells Graaz will cost 14 mana. I know you probably won’t see this comment but I hope it helps improve the build.
Glad you liked it! I like to include a small snippet of the commanders lore as a holdover from when I first started making these, so I'm happy that folks enjoy it!
Going to smash my opponents life totals like this channel smashed the 10K milestone. Fantastic work, you’re an inspiration my dude. As far as MoM goes I know it’s kind of memey, but I really think a good and cheap deck can be built with Yargle and Multani. I’m also biased because saccing him to Jarad Golgari Lich Lord (one of my favorite Legendaries ever) and reanimating to sac again sounds so, so sweet.
Congratulations on making a budget colourless deck, this must have been quite a challenge. I think this is the best direction for the deck, with costing 8 I think you ideally want Graaz to be the last spell you cast in a game. I'm a fan of the new thumbnail design as well, it is easier to read compared to the previous one. Good luck with your last two deck techs and I am looking forward to the 10K special soon. (Congratulations again)
This... might be the best deck tech you have made so far. A creative gameplan that perfectly fits the commander and its lore while having its own spice, barely any cards that are not aimed at producing Juggernauts-In-The-Making, NOT A SINGLE WASTE OR COLOR AS IF TO FLEX ON US, and the thumbnail... it's a thing of beauty. At this point the only thing missing is you quoting the X-Men 2 scene as a post-credits gag, if anything. No wonder you managed to break 10k with Graaz of all decks. After all... don't you know who he is? As for March of the Machine... well, I have quite the fancy challenge idea - a deck based all around the lore of the set. Commander of your choice, but it has to be 5 colors, and its gameplan is not just to win, but to win by telling the story of every single combatant in this Endgame of a set. Basically, Infinity War, the EDH Deck. Though I perfectly understand if you want to save goofy stuff like that for when you have more subs, so feel free to do the new Multani/Yargle instead if you feel like it. Day 577 of waiting for the face reveal. Man... what a ride all those vids have been. Favourite moments of said ride?
Glad you enjoyed the content as usual & the feedback, and thank you and all of your support for helping the channel to get to 10k! I could not have done it without all of your support! A more lore geared build could be a very fun take to be honest, trying to have all the story spotlight cards in it or aiming to run all the key players in the story - though we would need to see more of the set to see if there is a 5 color commander that can support it. But as for the commanders we know so far, I definitely want to build Yargle and Multani (we can just slap a Loxodon Warehammer on him and he can start one shotting people)! And as far the ride has been son far, its hard to pin down a favorite moment. I love making the builds, testing, interacting the with viewers in the comments - but it I had to choose, I would say that my favorite moment was realizing that people enjoyed what I was doing and that people said that I was their favorite deck builder - which I honestly I may not deserve, but it did feel nice to hear. That said, cracking 10k ranks pretty high on moment for the channel too - and hopefully we'll have lots of other moments to look forward to in the future as we continue to grow.
This had to be one of your most challenging builds to date, and I think you nailed it. As for March of the Machine, I think the tag team of Lier and Katilda could be good. Maybe a bit on the milquetoast side as far as flashiness goes, but turning every human you cast into a pseudo Snapcaster Mage could be backbreaking.
I'm brewing Graaz right now, and there are a few mentions here that I'm using for sure. I tilted more into the +1/+1 counter theme and included more rocks and lands that can tap for any color and have a high cmc end using Sunburst creatures. Sunburst + Sunburst with Lux makes thinks come down with 10 +1/+1 counters. Going wide is the superior tactic here but I couldn't skip on having a 5c colorless deck with that sick showcase art of Graaz.
That's a very well thought out budget build! The single idea I could come up with was that having just one basic wastes in the deck may be worth the extra dollar or two just for how often opponents' removal spells or effects will cause you to search for one. Assassin's trophy and path to exile are ubiquitous. With the similarity of your name and Graaz, did this one feel special? Haha! I hope you are getting enough coffee and not burning yourself out, Grazzet! Congratulations on reaching 10k subs! I still point this way to any new deckbuilders out there.
Hey Grazzet, I went ahead and ordered all the cards on your build. They arrived and I love the deck. I love artifacts and the way you put this together is great. The idea that most if not all the lands do more than add man is brilliant. I am gonna join and support you. Any thought on any card upgrades since the new releases? Have you given any thought to a 60-card deck featuring Graaz? I made one before I saw this video. Maybe convert it to brawl. Thank you for everything.
Man this looks awesome!! I am going to say Ghalta and Mavren you could go either go power matters or wide strategy and just choose one of the abilities to focus on or a little of both. With Dinosaurs and Vampires you can do so much as well.
i started with your build but i wanted to have more instant cast effects so i fit into my deck winding canyons vedalken oorery skittering cicada emergence zone hope these were good add ins
Thalia and Gitrog & Goro-Goro and Satoru both seem like the obvious choices, but I'd really wanna see what you do with Yargle and Multani. Something that large and vanilla could be interesting.
Love the videos im so glad i found this channel but i am wondering on thing about this deck you mentioned you didnt want to shell out the money for wastes but what lands would you reccomend to remove for wastes if you already have access to them?
i got a question what about thran turbne for this deck? it has a down side of cant be spent for spells. But with this deck having so many cards that just nbeed mana it may be a good addition for the cards like hangerback, gingerbrute, hellkite, mirror works and so many moire but what would you do to make it fit into this deck or is that issuew of no spells a really big downside for this deck even though it has so many options besides spells to utilize mana?
Good question. As per the rules - the color identity of Mightstone and Weakstone is colorless. Color identity cares about the back of DFCs (CR 903.4d), but Meld cards are explicitly not DFCs (713.1b).
Personally, I'm a big fan of both the card and Warhammer 40k, so I have no problem running it in my builds (though I can see the argument why some folks may not want to run it).
It would make a great addition but its $7+ price tag kept it from making the build (though I did recommend it as an upgrade if you have one already and/or don't mind going over budget).
That's fair. In order to remedy that, I would swap out Bonders' Enclave for Scavenger Grounds for some graveyard hate from the land slot, oe we can swap out Patchwork Automaton for Soulless Jailer we we want come creature based graveyard hate instead (or both if you know you're going up against a one or more graveyard focused builds).
I like the build but I feel Gaaz in the command zone is an invitation to board wipe. I want to put him in the 99 of a token green white or izzet thopters deck. Go wide, play Gaaz and swing with 5/3s
Hey folks! Let me know in the comments if you agreed with my build, what card think should be added instead, and what commander from March of the Machine you want me cover in future video's!
Surprised you didn't mention Ugin, the Spirit Dragon as an upgrade
For an upgrade I think Akroma's memorial would work well but appart from that it looks pretty fun to play with

How are you doing
Nice video, loved you provided the backstory on this commander
Glad you liked it! I like to include a small snippet of the commanders lore as a holdover from when I first started making these, so I'm happy that folks enjoy it!
I agree I really enjoy that part please keep it around
congrats on 10k my dude, been here for a bit and glad to see you grow.
I appreciate it! And thank you for the support you've given the channel to help us get here!

Woah the mad lad pulled it off! I know this one was probably challenging but here's hoping you got at least a little satisfaction out of it
Thalia and the Gitrog Monster would be fun.
Congratulations on making a budget colourless deck, this must have been quite a challenge. I think this is the best direction for the deck, with costing 8 I think you ideally want Graaz to be the last spell you cast in a game.

Thank you very much for the deck tech. It has helped me a ton

Oh, man. I was sold when I saw Meteor Golem. I don’t know why, but I think dropping that guy that guy on the table is hilarious.
Always loved the intro music. It reminds me of search for azcanta and simic 😅
Geode Golem is a great for for this deck since it can bring in Graaz ahead of the curve.
Hey Grazzet, I went ahead and ordered all the cards on your build. They arrived and I love the deck. I love artifacts and the way you put this together is great. The idea that most if not all the lands do more than add man is brilliant. I am gonna join and support you.

Can't wait to start rolling over those walls!
Arcades, the Strategist is quaking in his boots!
Unwinding clock would be great in this deck
I'd love to see you build Thalia and the Gitrog monster or Drana and Linvala

Im making this deck, i have a few Wastes from my old Child of alara good stuff deck, when BtZ came out. Would it be worth adding a few?
a forsaken monument and instead of intro to annihilation or scour an all is dust perhaps?
From what I have seen so far I would say Goro-Goro and Saturo and also the new Heliod
Angels Trumpet? Forces opponents to attack or they lose life and lose a blocker. And we untap our attackers after combat
Holy crap, I never was so fast on a new video 😅
Nothing wrong with being early!
I'm sorry, maybe I'm wrong, but The Mightstone and Weakstone will be considered White - Blue . Or did I misunderstand?
Good question. As per the rules - the color identity of Mightstone and Weakstone is colorless. Color identity cares about the back of DFCs (CR 903.4d), but Meld cards are explicitly not DFCs (713.1b).
Myr incubator needs to be in this deck
Was wondering when Canoptek Spyder was going to show up in one of your builds
Personally, I'm a big fan of both the card and Warhammer 40k, so I have no problem running it in my builds (though I can see the argument why some folks may not want to run it).
Nice video
Glad you think so!
I'm gonna build it
Why no all is dust?
It would make a great addition but its $7+ price tag kept it from making the build (though I did recommend it as an upgrade if you have one already and/or don't mind going over budget).
Turn your thopters into steamroller like you name is dio
Fair, though sadly the deck doesn't have access to extra turn spells - so we can't scream out "ZA WARUDO!!!" in this build!
Ok, but really, why haven't Wastes been reprinted?
Grazzet, are you from Quebec?
I am not, why do you ask?
@@GrazzetMTG to me, your accent sounds similar but it is very faint. Do you mind me asking where you're from?
Not enough GY Hate.😶🌫
That's fair. Haha Graazet
The name surprised me too when it came out!
I like the build but I feel Gaaz in the command zone is an invitation to board wipe. I want to put him in the 99 of a token green white or izzet thopters deck. Go wide, play Gaaz and swing with 5/3s
