I saw one guy on Twitter talk about this card and now it's blowing up. It's the only colorless deck I've made. I love it so much the few times I've played with it that I'm actually considering keeping it. Thanks for showing us your version of the deck!
@@TheCommanderTavern it definitely is built different from mine. Im on a budget so its a mix of tokens, cheerios and actually no basic lands but it can get serious about 5 turns in if I'm hitting land drops and one or two mana dorks/rocks. The best I got so far was 30 damage on turn 5... This commander is so underrated, even for a new one
@@moreplease394 It's definitely underrated. It was one of the first ones I was brewing when I saw the previews. I've liked so many cards from ONE that I was seemingly juggling all these commanders at once between brews. Once I started getting burned out on one of them I just moved on to the other one. But Graaz was one of the easier ones to build because it's very straightforward but strong, too.
I love this deck profile. In place of a more mana affordable if not cash affordable card, can I recommend Dolmen Gate to protect your Juggernauts? I find it lets me swing a little freely. I don't have access to the Eldrazi Monument but i do run the Darksteel Forge. (Edit: Spelling and Grammar)
I’m surprised you’re not running the gamut on the colorless mana dorks. A quick gatherer search shows 14 3cmc or less that either tap for colorless or for any color, not including artifacts that can self animate like guardian idol. I figured that the dorks could help ramp out the commander early and then swing for big damage once it was on the field.
You can definitely run all of the mana dorks you want. But I went for a noncreature source of creating creature tokens along with a land-based ramp source of mana acceleration because mana dorks are incredibly weak to creature-based boardwipes which are too commonplace in the format. The noncreature token-creating artifacts will survive a Wrath of God (same with the lands) but not mana dorks. That was my consideration when building the deck.
Why precursor golem? I get it makes 2 3/3 golems but there isn't anything in the deck that aids in precursor's second ability and it's any player can cast a spell on one golem and its hits all of them. All it takes is one lighting bolt, that will end all of your golems by one spell
It's just a colorless way to get more bodies onto the battlefield. If an opponent can get all three of them at once it doesn't really matter - it's no different than casting one big thing for 5 mana and having it bolted. The point of the deck is to get as many juggernauts in play as possible. That being said, it is a flexible slot. Should anything better come along, it can be replaced.
I know, right? It makes me wish I was able to donate Maskwood Nexus to an opponent in colorless. Then all my creatures would be unblockable! But it's probably because that's the creature type mentioned in the original Juggernaut. So it's probably more a call back than anything.

Excited for this one. I love the alt art for Graaz!
You always have unique spin on deck building! Very inspiring! Can you do one for Kharne the Betrayer?
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :)
I'm still working on ONE content so I can't make any promises.

Ooh! Dolmen Gate is definitely a great suggestion!

It's really weird to me that Graaz mentions Walls specifically, rather than creatures with Defender

Hi thanks it is amazing, but I am suprised you're not running Forsaken Monument, why ?
And thanks generally for your videos, I really enjoy them.
Forsaken Monument is definitely an amazing card to run. The only reason it's not here is because you can only have 100 cards in a commander deck XD
@@TheCommanderTavern ok I see, it is always the problem. Thank you :)
