I bought this vest last year. I also almost sent it back before I tried it. I couldn't figure out the seat. But when I used it in the woods I really liked it and once I got the seat figured out, I liked that ,too. It is well made and very adjustable. I have to agree with you about the magnet, though. @@TheNewHuntersGuide I’d only do heated waders if it did the legs and feet. With the core it’s easier to just layer. I got the mossy oak wool vest and it works wonders

Great review George! Question, Tidwe has a turkey vest with a back kickstand to give support while sitting. Did you find yourself in a position that you would benefit from that version of their turkey vests? Looks like an interesting function that might make long sits more comfortable.

Hi Karl, I did look at that vest but for where I hunt, trees are an important part of concealment. If I were going to hunt somewhere without big trees to lean against, I would probably just use a blind. So the kick stand vest wasn't something I would often use. And it's heavier and bulkier so for me it wasn't worth getting. But for some hunters it may be ideal.

I bought that vest and the alps outdoors one.
The tidewe squashes the back pouch when folded up. The legs wouldn't hold extended either. Couldn't hold a full sized box call in the box call pouch either.
I hated that vest.
With that said, I have tons of tidewe products and love them. Boots, heated gear, waders, blinds, etc.
That vest was awful.
The alps outdoorz vest is night and day better and doesn't have any of those issues.

This is not the vest with the legs and frame, that'd a totally different product. I've never used or touched that one.

It's the most comfortable vest I've sat it. So I guess that means its a 10. The padding on the seat and back is robust.
