- The latest bike to go under Dangerholm's knife - The SCOTT Scale RC Work Cup frame.
This beautiful masterpiece of a bike is a tribute to the rock'n'roll band Motorhead and their late but legendary frontman Lemmy Kilmister.
There's much more to this custom hardtail racing machine than meets the eye. Renowned bike builder and customizer Dangerholm's passion for detail shines through, making this one of the most badass Scale custom jobs we've ever seen.
The polished parts add to that recognizable style of Motorhead being the bad boys of rock 'n' roll.
This bike also features one quite unique feature; the Zirbel controllers for the Sram AXS components. They have cables routed inside the custom-made handlebars, and inside the stem, there's a Sram BlipBox hidden. Making for a very clean cockpit and a modified Scott Rideloc remote 🤤.
And while the end goal wasn't to have a super lightweight bike the end weight including pedals is 9.16kg.

Another level tuning. I had a Scale myself with some of the same ideas and tuned it a bit, but I sold it and now owning an almost new 2021 Scott Spark rc comp, which I’m going to tune dramatically. You are an inspiration!

Ha, Lemmy was in my living room once when on tour at Toronto 1983 I think. My sisters best friend had a mom who knew Lemmy and she brought him to my parents house dropping off her daughter. My parents were middle class British and Lemmy was amused by our suburban Toronto house.

I had made one with low cost and is on 8,5 kg with all components (basic at all) using scale 24 rd frame and fork, and serial wheels

2.4 tire in the rear too? Does it fit? I have a 2017 Scott Scale 920 and I think 2.4 wouldn’t fit but it someone has tried it please let me know!!

Nice frame! My frame can't fit 40t chainring.
He might used a custom made chainring. I wonder who uses 36T or even 40T. Recently I use 26T and 26-10 ratio is more than enough for me.
@@fpeter01 with 36 chainring I can comfortably push at over 40kms an hour :)
