Really awesome to see the sources of these samples and how the man flipped them.
This is probably the best uses of sampling in hip hop ever. The way Madlib easily implements them into the album is so amazing. Like its almost like he knew what sounds he wanted to hear and crafted them together so perfectly. And the fact he made this while he was high is also just impressive and hilarious

God i love this album so much. its so unique, weird, cartoony, hilarious and otherworldly at times and the samples, beats, Madlib and Quas going back and fourth on verses, the dense sampling and quirky beats and the overall atmosphere and sound like straight from a looney tunes cartoon and i just dig it so much. its definitely one of my favorite albums of all time and ill never get tired of it. also that blame game melvin sample fits in so perfectly i swear it sounds like something from a cartoon Edit: This is my favorite album of all time. Astro Black by Sun Ra is a great record Ive loved it for more than 30 years when I heard it was on this Unseen album I immediately had to check it out and it became my favourite hiphop LP ever thanks for putting this together it is so wonderful

I've been down with Madlib since the Lootpack days of the late '90s. It's interesting to see him achieve this mythical status in hip hop today. He's literally the Thelonious Monk of hip hop.
