I remember buying this album when i was 14 years old. I got it at borders bookstore lol and when i heard greenery i was hooked! Started smoking around then too so it was perfect. Also by some crazy universal event madlib actually was my neighbor for about two years and he was really really nice to me and always humble. He signed my copy of further adventures. He liked the way i played the drums apparently too. It was a great time. Thanks for this upload too man. One love ❤

I had to explain who Quasi was to somebody recently, so I said, "Well, it's Madlib when he's baked." That said, this is in my top 5 hip-hop albums. I'm also a Zappa + jazz fusion fan, so Quasi checks ALL the boxes for me, sample-wise. Thanks for this video, Hazeus. Your entire channel is amazingly dope. this is probably the less acessible and welcoming Quasimoto album or Madlib release honestly. its just so weird and abstract and its very challenging to listen to if your listening it to once, that youll probably want to turn it off. but its one of those albums if you listen to more and more youll cherish and appreciate it more and more because Madlib packs so much stuff right in your face it kinda flies by. this is most definitely one of the weirdest just off the wall hip hop albums ever. even weirder and stranger then the unseen or madvillainy to be honest
Yeah, hate or love the album, it speaks absolute facts and has some hard rhymes flows and best beats to exist, you still have to admit how talented the album itself is for there, but yeah your right it's quite strange at first but once you listen to it more often youll begin to love and appreaciate more of its strong abstract bizarre songs, that's how it was more me and The Unseen and I can't stop listening to The Unseen, but yeah this is the weirdest but one of the most enjoyable albums for me. I at least find what we both said easier to explain and introduce to friends whenever feelin it. Also I can now finally see why so many people on Spotify are listening to Greenery so much. Love or hate Quasimoto, like I said he speaks absolute facts and can literally introduce you to everything and make you feel much more tougher than before.
