Thanks for this video. Also saw your video on building the screen mounts and i must say; my man you are very talented. Great job man. I just bought the triple G5's to put on my rig. I think it's the sweet spot FPS wise. It's only 144hz instead of 240 but i think you rarely hit that anyways with iracing. I'm looking forward to building my rig. Can't wait! Will try your settings since the screen is almost the same. The extension of the DD would be nice. I'm driving with a DD pro, so i have to see how everything turns out.
Thank you. It is true about FPS. Maybe 144Hz/FPS would be stable with the new generation of cards (RTX 4090). The G7 is for sure future proof. :) Note that The G7 has quite better picture quality over the G5 and actually that was the reason i decided to go with the G7, not the refresh rate. It has deeper blacks and better color, better LCD matrix overall. I just got CSL DD Pro, Its almost impossible to make a extension for it. Maybe I will feature it in the video. Comparison to DD2 and simucube is coming for sure.
@@T.S.CUSTOM Wanted to get back at this after we know the performance of the 4090 but man that thing is crazy.Seems to be the ideal card for 3 x 1440P. I wonder how the 4080 does on 3 x 1440P. I'm done building my triple screen setup now. Gonna build the rig this weekend. Can't wait to test everything out. My 2080 will feel pain i guess. Need to upgrade soon :) The G5's are pretty amazing but i hope i will feel satisfied. If not i need to get them G7's :D But i can always do that in the future. The 1000R curve is so nice for this setup. I have the screens exactly the same. Felt like the best position for those screens anyway. The side monitors flow with the curve of the middle monitor perfectly this way. You just sit in a halve circle. And it feels just like looking through a windscreen of a car.
Installed it 2 month ago. Being even closer to the center screen makes driving so much more realistic. Distance to screen is now 53 cm which is also ideal for FOV (see Race Beyond Matter). Best investment this year! Hope I can keep it with the upcoming QR2
Did you go with the same displays with 1000R? How do you like the pretty strong curve? I have 3 G5, but after mounting the center I‘m not sure if 1500 would better… Any thoughts?

@@Wachito78 I had three G5s and arranged them halfway across a table for testing.
I didn't like the curve of the 1000R when looking at the center monitor, but also when looking at all three monitors. It's just too curved for me. Both in terms of the image and the size of the 32" are lost in my opinion. In addition, the G5s are very simple in terms of quality... but the price is also quite low, at least in Germany.
Then I switched to 3x ASUS VG32VQ1BR with 1500R. For me, the 1500R is much more comfortable and the material feel is better. But they were also 20% more expensive.
In my opinion, you can tell if you like the 1000R after the first test, I had the feeling that it was too bent from the beginning.
@@Alalalalalalalala4They do feel a little weird on my eyes, but I think i can get use to it, I had to take them down tho, because the monitor mount I purchased was up to 32" and I couldn't get the angle to where I Wanted, so I returned it, and I'm waiting for one that can take up to 43" monitors.
I am looking to buy the Azus Tuf 32" curved monitor so I can buy two more in the next couple of months and and have a sweet triple screen set up.

Something else I forgot to mention. When setting up triples if you use Nvidia surround you can have 4 screens and one a different resolution and refresh rate. Once your triples are set up go to display settings in windows and re activate the 4th screen by changing it too "extend these displays" now you have triple screen set up as screen 1 and your 4th screen as 2.

3:40 I do believe my 144Hz Dell Monitors are running at the refresh rate I set them to despite the top monitor running at 60Hz. The monitors themselves show they run at 144Hz in the information OSD - so completely disregarding any windows settings. They also show 60hz, if I set them to that refresh rate manually. So it is definitely working.
I think what your problem could be: It's the 240hz of the triples - in the case of the 4th display it would be too much bandwidth for your graphics card. Try setting your G7 monitors to 120hz instead which is plenty enough (you don't really get more FPS anyways in iRacing on a full grid) and it should work for you as well. So 3 times 120hz and the 4th monitor running at 60hz.

Frames go down during races, in iRacing that's a CPU issue. iRacing uses more CPU than ACC. The latter more GPU. Switch to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and you're going to get 150fps min in races. You can just update bios and drop the cpu in if you have B450 or B550 boards.
Also, where did you get the Bezel Free Kit? It seems Asus discontinued it. Thanks a lot.

any usb to dvi or whatever the 4th monitor port uses will make the job you need. I have 9 monitors and only 2 connected to the graphics card, the rest all run on usb ;)
I was excited to find your video and learned earlier today Xbox doesn’t allow you to do 3 screens
I think my next best option is just a Samsung odyssey CRG9 but everyone who I seen on here when running that sim racing all day if the display was just a little bit taller. The I found the odyssey 4K UHD it’s 55” and taller but nobody is running it, don’t want to roll the dice on that one what do you think ? Will the ark have the ultra wide display so the dash of the car is as close as I can get to 1:1 with one screen but still get the height of the display that everyone kinda complains about on the g9 where the top of the windshield is cutout
it really looks beautifully set as in a real race car the only thing missing is a little fps it would be good to have 240 fps because the monitors are 240hz but for something like that you need a stronger processor and even better graphics I hope that the prices of graphics will soon become normal and you get 3090
That kind of performance is impossible with the best hardware available today. I could get maybe a 10-15% increase in framerate to my knowledge top, with better processor and graphic card. 240hz stable in triple screen needs to wait for the new generation of graphic cards and processors. Honestly, if I could get 144 stable would be great. I personally don't notice any lag unless it goes under 90FPS and as I said in the video that is really rare, and only on certain tracks with certain amounts of cars displayed.
@@T.S.CUSTOM ok I thought it was possible to get more fps with 3090 and a stronger processor with reducing a few details in the game then you have to wait for a new series of graphics cards

I have a Clubsport v2.5 and i want to put the wheelbase behind my screen… but the steering is too close lol so I need to make a extension… thanks for you answer ! ✌🏻😉
My extension comes with extension cable. I for now only Fanatec DD1, DD2 and Simucube are supported.
Thank you for all the information. I'm undecided between this monitor and the 32 inch Samsung G5. Is your reason for choosing this monitor because it is only 240hz?
G7 has a betters LCD matrix, better colors, better contrast, less ghosting. Although 144 is enough of a refresh rate these other benefits shifted me to the G7. Got them on a nice discount so the price difference was not that huge.
What angle did you set your monitors to? I have 32 curved triples but not sure which is the best angle.

Yes there are, one of the most important is that it mostly keeps distance of your eyes to the screen at the same distance.

Great video, I pulled the trigger on triple g7 setup fo my rig. I’ve got 12th Gen i9, 32 g ram & RTX 3080ti 12gb. I’m suffering relentless micro stutter when racing, typically evident on scenery when cornering. I’ve tried everything, gsync, vsync settings. Low graphics settings, high graphics settings, all monitor settings. I’ve read a lot of bad press about the monitors. Do you have any stuttering problems or have you ever since getting the monitors? Appreciate the help, I just can’t enjoy the rig like this.
No, it works for me. Do you have 4th monitor? Maybe you are stuck in low refresh rate?
I had the same thing. Did you update drivers to last version 1014? I have them on 240hz, g sync on in Nvidia drivers (v sync off) and in monitor osd I have adaptive sync on. VRR still turned off

Do you have the monitor stand for sale? If not any recommendations for one that would get the monitors at that 130 degree angle at a good height? Maybe a wall mount?
Not at the moment, no. i don't follow stand prices, that is why i made my own. :)
A tip you could use - for your extra screen, try to connect it to your motherboard if it has a grafic chip build in - my MB have,
so I connected my extra screen to the HDMI port on my motherboard and vupti - now it is not putting stress on my Nvida card
Are you using DVI or HDMI? I have triple Z edge 32” curved monitors just got them. But not sure which cables to use to connect them to get the best performance

I have a tv attached as a 4th monitor running 60hz, and im pretty sure my triples ar at 144, as they have their own osd showing hz and they are at 144. Only think i did was go into nvidia control panel, and set each monitor's resolution and refresh rate manually. And i have the the tv under the HD section and the triples under the PC section.
Are you running them with Nvidia sorround or AMD eyefinity?

I actually just set them up last week. I've been in VR for the last 3 years. I'll also mention they are gsync monitors. But they are showing 144 even at the desktop.
@@T.S.CUSTOM you can enable IGPU in the bios so you can plug your 4th screen into your motherboard. I do this now. Just find IGPU or what ever its called on your motherboard and enable it.
When you add a GPU too your pc its disables the on board graphics by default but as i said you can turn it back on as long as your CPU isnt one with the petter F at the end as that means it has no on board graphics
Hello :) I'm looking at the exact same screen setup as you have with the G7. Do you have the measurement from one side to the other? Total length in width? I'm wondering if I can fit this setup in my relatively medium room. I read somewhere that some people say that with 32" screens, it will be around 190cm, but that just seems too wide for me.

Hey there, have the same monitors and iracing but how did you get your windshield to show that much? With the Ferrari, I have the strip of sticker on the windscreen taking 1/4 of the monitors.
You have to increase your FOV while inside the car. You have a blackbox with that setting.
How wide are the monitors as you have them setup? I want to go down this route but not sure how wide they would be and if they'd fit in my space.

which monitor firmware are you running? what setting are you using? I also got triple g7 running latest 1014 firmware.. I have the flickering monitors issue
I don't have flickering issue and I am afraid to touch anything as it is working fine for me. I heard that new firmware is more like a patch than a real fix for some that are experiencing problems.
@T.S. CUSTOM I have the fix for your 4th screen. If you go into your motherboards bios and turn the onboard graphic too enabled it then allows you too plug your 4th screen into the motherboard USB port and then it is using the cpu's on board graphics.
I believe it is called IGPU in the bios for my MSI motherboard.
If anyone has a MSI Motherboard and need any advice just message me and i will spend the time in my Bios to find exactly the route you take in the settings too find too find the IGPU setting as i remember it was not simple too find on my motherboard that is and its been a while since i did it.

You have to remember that not all users will have a CPU that have onboard graphics in the chip to take advantage of that option.
Most performance AMD chips do not include integrated graphics to my knowledge.

I think I would go with 34" if it existed while purchasing these, but then you are most probably at 4K making it super intensive to run..
Hi - thanks for nice video. I just purchased 3 of the Samsung G7 myself. But I have a problem that I want to hear if you had also. I have black bars all around the screen, so the actuel visible screen does not fill up the monitor. I have tried many things like, connect different pc'es, different connecting cables etc. Samsung support could not solve it either. I was just wondering if you knew about this issue? Great video again. I have the same monitors and just bought the Asus Bezel free kit. I’m a little disappointed that I have to put the monitors at 130 degree. How you enter the rig ? The monitors get so close to the seat especially if you put a extension to have them closer to the wheel. Thank you.
I have no problems entering and exiting the cockpit, also, the simulator was exhibited at WRC Croatia and no one there had problems. It's just a bit less space to squeeze trough. Getting in is no more difficult than getting in a real race cars. You are talking about 130 deg like it's something negative. It's the best thing actually for the FOV and immersion.
@@T.S.CUSTOM Hi T.S, thanks for the reply. I will try again more precisely at 130 with the angle carton that comes with the bezel kit. Maybe when I tried it, it was more than that, it was really hard to enter the rig without bumping the left monitor. I always thought and read that the best angle is to have the center of the monitor equal to my eyes for each monitors, that may be wrong.
@@tapidlittle13 note that my screens are shifted to the right compared to the seat, just like the position of a driver in a car is. That makes for a little more room on the right.
@@T.S.CUSTOM Hi again, I just installed the bezel kit and moved my monitors to 130 degree, looks good now but my side monitors now have some distortion (vehicles are longer than they sould be, image is stretch). Can you tell me in Iracing what is the value you put for the curvature of the screen? I have left them to 1000r, it was looking good before but now at 130 it's not, thank you again for your help!

Hello. I currently have a G7 & G5. I'm planning to pick up another G5. Will there be an issue running this combo for sim racing?
I don't know. 1. thing to check if they are the exact same size. 2. Thing refresh rate will be locked to the refresh rate of the G5. The G5 has worse colors and contrast, so there would be difference in the picture.

je li ima neki guru da moze ovo natjerati da radi nekako haha. cak sam ok da se svi vrte u 1080, ali ovaj srednji 34 bi trebao biti onda 2560x1080.
Može se, upravo ovako kako sam objasnio. To je onda windowed borderless mode i nebitna je rezolucija. Jedino što bi moglo biti distorzirano ako je neki monitor veči, manji ili drugačije rezolucije.

@@joei4ever I have 27" 34" 27" or 1920x1080 2560x1080 1920x1080(6400x1080)144hz curved freesync with AMD XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC III Ultra 8GB GDDR6, activate eyefinity and that's it... 5 years ago I made an extender to leave the base behind the central monitor, it is 3mm above the axis and coincidentally my eyes are 70cm, and I think that is how it looks best...

you dont measure the angle of the edge in curved monitors.. imagine a line from the edge of bezel to the the mid monitor mark - thats the angle :)
You need to measure the angle that way for the bezzel free kit to be able to display it properly. Samsung screens are pretty much flat on the ends of the screen.

Not sure when but they changed it. Now you have separate config file depending if you want to run on VR (virtual reality) or screen/screens but folder location is still the same like in the video.
I am for sure going triples with 32" displays but I am not sure I am willing to shell out $2500usd for the G7s. I was thinking maybe GIGABYTE M32Q or something comparable. Amazing setup sir.
you could use the G5 32" if you dont need 240hz and qLed
@@zooky7698 Exactly what i did. And you rarely see FPS above 240 anyways with a triple 1440p setup anyways. I think 144hz is the sweet spot. Even if it's above 144 FPS, then the 144hz is mostly enough to get a smooth experience. And this is coming from a competitive 240hz shooter gamer (where response time and HZ is extremely important) that is experienced with a 120hz triple setup; only just upgraded to the G5's. Can't wait to install them. My guess is that 144hz is just fine. I mean i could notice some hickups on 120hz, but 144hz will prolly negate that and make it super nice. I got a pretty good deal on the prices for the monitors so the G5 was a no brainer for me.
Remember guys that refresh rate is not the only difference between G5 and G7. G7 has better lcd matrix better colors, better contrast, better blacks. Picture quality is very high on the G7.
Now the G7 is obtainable for under $600usd it is a much more viable option for me now. I put off triple monitors for a while which is looking like was a good choice.
is the bezel free kit for 27” monitors? your g7 is 32”?
Officially they support up to 27" but they fit on the 32. The only problem is that original mounts can't be used because the plastic is to short. If you make mounts by your self you can use them. It's all explained in my videos.
Can you make a video on how you set up your rtx with the eyefinity amd drivers.

@@T.S.CUSTOM gaming, and technical-wise, I'm not too savvy, and I didn't understand how you could open a window without exiting the game, and that's why I thought you used the AMD drivers (software). That is what I understood in the video.
why there is no more setting for the angle of the monitors ... I use 3 40" 16:9 QHD R3000 curved 165Hz Monitors. on compute I get an FOV of 145 no matter what angle I use. I do not use a bezel kit. so no need to use 135 degrees - I want to use 120 degrees ... but I can not find the place where to set that angle - what would get me an FOV of 179
I don't know, you should ask Iracing. It's puzzling for me to. For me the settings were just fine so i did not turn too much attention to it.
I used the calculated FOV from my excel file and set the angle to 63 (recomended from the calculation) the today arrived bezel kit is NOT working ... I need to do it like you did. With tape instead of the mounting things. They lenght is perfect, but there is also an angle from 120-130 degress recommended ... so I will set the monitors to 60 from the wall. For 130 the space to pass my rig would be to small.

I use VR. I have Reverb G2. But honestly, after this triple setup I didn't use it. I have it so people can try the sim in VR. VR is amazing!

Unfortunately the iRacing monitor setup is not correct!
You are using the "3 curved screens" option which is used only for flat image projection when you have 3 curved screens that are set up to follow the angle of their curvature. Basically acting like a single huge curved ultra wide screen...
Thats why there is no option to set the monitor angle - it assumes that you have them on a curved plane that follows the radius of the monitor.
Since you have your side monitors at an angle - the projection is simply not right on multiple aspects!!!
You should be using 3 flat screens option since it takes into account the angle between side sceeens.
Unfortunately it is not possible to correct the distortion of an curved monitor for now, but it is possible to correct the side angle distortion which you have in reality but not in game when you choose 3 curved screens option...
Whats your angle? Through the video it looks like something around 55°?
Fixing the curved screen distortion (in a triple monitor setup with side angles) is a beast of an problem that actually goes beyond iRacing if you read about it...
I'm not sure it's not correct if it looks good. I understand what you are talking about but I figured it's better to have curvature distortion correction than the correct angle. The difference in curvature because of the angle is not so big. I compared both setups and did not find any major difference. The bezel is perfect, no noticeable distortions or missing information. It would be great if Iracing implemented curved screens with angle option but till then this is somewhere in the middle.

@@T.S.CUSTOM If you are not familiar with it, there is no reason to explain. e.g. have you noticed why iR monitor settings has no angle for curved monitors? But you have angled them...
