  • How to reduce eye strain and fatigue while working in front of a computer?
The scientific evidence is overwhelming when it comes to blue light and the negative side effects of it. You can mainly find fatigue, eye strain or even retina damage. To counter this, developers have shifted to so called Dark Mode apps. Even Windows has a Dark Mode. However, some applications or websites are not providing a dark mode, which can be annoying, especially at night.
The adjustment of the color temperatures is the way out of this mess and we found f.lux very helpful for that. We know that Windows itself has a Night light mode, which can however not be freely configured in a way that f.lux can be.
This video shows where to download and how to set up f.lux for a better working experience.

I have been using this for YEARS !!!
I have also noticed that "Grayscale" can really help eye strain. Especially just before going to bed.

I'll give this a try. Just yesterday I reduced bedtime temperature even further. Great tool to play around with.

It's a bit tricky for color sensitive work. We noticed that too but that is just extra motivation to get it done before a certain time. ;-)
