Big hello from Maine!! I’ve been watching your videos for a week or so because I’m getting ready to start playing with resin myself. You have been such an inspiration and I just love your attitude and how excited you get about colors and flowers. Thanks for brightening up my days 😊
I see a flower pattern in the no alcohol inc piece ^^ I also like the more inc look you do ^^ very interesting thou to see the differences! Very good job and idea!🙏☺
Thank you for this!!! Interesting comparison! I love the one with no white! I love that it is see through!! I wonder if you could use a little spray bottle for the white so that it sort of mists on instead of dripping. That might make a cool effect! Keep up the great work! I love watching you!!
It works really well and looks cool. You just have to add to a small spray bottle. Don't add allot to the bottle because it will dry out after a few days. You can clean the nozzle by spraying alcohol through it
What I learned: There's no 'too much,' just different effects achieved. For example, I loved four layers of white-- it looked like a close-up of a flower bouquet.
I love the explosion too. I'm all about it! One factor that can change the result too is the work time of the resin. If the resin is stating to kick and getting thick, it will really change the look. I learned that the hard way. Lol but you can use it to your advantage too.
Can you do an experiment where you move them after putting the inks in, causing them to swirl or all go in one direction or like zig zag. Hope that makes sense.
I need a scientist to explain this chemical reaction to me. But suggestion of an experiment. Since all the ink seemed to leave a circle in the middle, I'd be interested to see you only apply the ink directly in the center and see how it spreads and what shapes it forms. Second suggestion, I'd like to see the close up shots during you talking about the piece or right after you talk about the piece for video flow and pacing. Just a suggestion :) love your channel
I love how you show us the difference. You are the only one who showed, not to put any white. That was super cool. I can’t wait to order my inks. Thank-you again.
It's curiously satisfying to watch the inks swirl around in the resin. Also, it seems like the more layers you did, gave you more depth than the ones before. I thought these were so pretty!
I do get a little ink happy and I've had some pieces come out super saturated but still like them in the end. To each their own and everyone has their own style. I try to stop myself but sometimes I do three to four layers and sometimes I do more for larger pieces. Your stuff is always so beautiful even when you feel like you've gone extra.
Love.. i also think the depth of the molds play apart in the ink and the outcome of the piece.. would love to see a comparison between thicker mold and thin-ish molds
Pls make a video on your spheres! I just found your channel the other day while looking for a way to preserve a butterfly I found over the summer, and then basically binged all ur videos and am now obsessed w this whole world of resin art!🥰
I definitely prefer the one with no white, although I understand what purpose the white ink serves. The one you didn’t do this time was white ink mixed into resin separately then that whitened resin added and swirled around before color. Not sure it’s much different than white first, but the one time you did it that way in a different video, I think the wispy-ness was much cooler looking. 🙄🤷♀️
Is there a point at which the resin is diluted too much to set or will it just set with however much ink you use. I was scared to use too much in case it wouldn’t set properly. Love all your projects and experiments💕💕💕
I adore number 2 and number 4 and the one with the white layer first! They are all so pretty it’s killing me. I wish I had time to do resin, I’m trying to be satisfied with watching your amazing art creating but boiiii- it’s hard. So much gorgeous inspiration! 🤩
I just started watching your videos. You are adorable. I love your personality and free spirit. I have been interested in resin for a long time but never really knew what to do with it. After watching your videos I see the possibilities are really endless! I foresee myself spending lots of money in the near future to gather a collection of supplies and MANY people getting handmade gifts for birthdays and Christmas! Eeeek! I’m so inspired and excited!
I absolutely freaking LOVE you! I want my first resin piece to be a Chrystal ball. Could you possibly show us how to use the alcohol inks to make delicate mystic swirls. Sort of like your snow globe or roses, which I adore. I think I’m a #2 on the white but I’m not sure how to swirl in a sphere. I love watching you work. ❤
Funny, but I love the one with one layer of white the best. I have been using Stone Coat art coat, which is not a casting resin, so I have to pour half of the coaster first, then I wait a couple of hours, then I add ink, then I pour the second half of the resin. I don’t tend to get as many of the white dots as you. Thanks, enjoy watching your videos!
I love all of them! I also noticed the color on the resin bottles matched your hair! Coincidence? LOL My faves were the one with out any white and where you swirled in the white first. I have noticed at times I do like the backs better. They are also unique to look at! So informational! As far as how much ink, I think it depends on the preference of the artist. Great work and thanks for sharing!
This might be a off question. But I'm asking because I absolutely love! What foundation do you use(main question)? Setting powder? Concealer? Primer/setting spray? Have you done a make video? I would love to know your routine and what brands you use! Please! Your doing looks flawless and your makeup is so beautiful!
I love watching the colors swirl around, and I think it’s awesome that the back and front are different, two aspects to appreciate in the same piece! It’s like interactive art and I really like that kind of stuff, beautiful creations you can hold and play with and gaze into.. keep it up!! Keep playing and creating and experimenting.. it’s a joy to watch, and definitely inspiring. 👍🏻
So I am basically binge-watching a bunch of your videos which is why you will see my comments on a lot all of a sudden. Can I just say I love your hair, I've actually been wanting to tip my hair for the longest time but I do work as a mani and sometimes I think maybe some parents wouldn't like it but I am 90% convinced to do it so I just have to get myself the other 10% and I'm going to have it done.
Love this !! Its very helpful for other resin artists thanks .. and I just love whatever you do .. so no complaints about too much ink 🤣🤣🤣 love em all ! Thanks for sharing
Droppers don't come any smaller... I've looked... and looked... and looked. The bast you can do would be to get ACTUAL droppers. I LOVE the back of the 4 layer one. Gorgeous back. The no white would be great as a sun catcher. Hangbit up in a window that gets LOTS of sun. It would be soooo colorful. Great video. So much fun. Thanks for sharing. Glad I subscribed.
I have never enjoyed the petri type pieces until I watched you. Now I can't wait to get some white alcohol ink to use in the coasters molds that just arrived yesterday 😊💜💜💜💜
This only makes me more curious! What if you put the white ink in a spray bottle instead of doing drops? What if you mixed the color ink and the white ink BEFORE poring it into the resin? like almost an acrylic pour like situation? What happens when you do color in one layer of resin and white in the next layer??? I NEED TO KNOW
Hi! Do you change how you mix your resin to makeup for putting in all the alcohol inks?! I've read different things but love how your experiments always come out, just haven't heard you mention the mixing. Thanks!
Not going to lie- the moment you picked up the bottles of resin I began to internally squeal that your hair matched the bottles... which also matched your makeup. It was great.
Thank you for this video, I'm new to resin and just got some alcohol ink the other day. I just made a coaster set and I thought I put too much in I mixed it too much. So this video was helpful.
I think I've legitimately watched all the videos on this channel but don't remember something I'm thinking of: did you ever consider mixing a color alcohol ink with white before dropping so that you get opaque color drops to the bottom instead of always white? I don't do this craft myself but love to watch and was just curious what that'd look like.
I tried a method someone told me that works brilliant..to clean resin from your silicone moulds and jugs, Washing up liquid and some oil.. Like spray oil or oil for cooking.. So pour straight washing up liquid in your silicone jug about teaspoon of each, rub it together with a lollypop stick inside your jug or your hand with a glove on for moulds. Make sure if your doing it over the sink you have a strainer in the sink to catch all the resin pieces then simply wash in warm soapy water.. Works great.
I wasn't going to cramp your art style but I also thought it would be nice to see you use a bit less alcohol ink... turns out my favorites are the 3 and 4 layers with white and the one with just colors! :p Thank you so much for doing this test, it was so informative and useful. PS!!!!! I love love LOVE your Watsky hat!!! 😍❤
Oooo! Just got an idea! What if you put the white ink in a spray bottle and misted it on? I do know that the white has to be shaken before use, so maybe just use a very small spray bottle?
I think you are ADORABLE! I enjoy your videos and learning so much! I appreciate you! I am brand new to resin and already addicted! Thank you so much for being here xoxo
I'm. Addicted. Haha, love your videos and your crazy personality as it makes watching your videos extra fun! Have yo say I am the same kind of crazy and like the colours and picks you chose in this experiment. I think I saw a comment around the viscosity of the resin. Would be awesome to see the same experiment after 30 or so minutes have passed after pouring. Please keep these videos going!! Oh and sap!! I use to pick sap off trees at home cos they dripped down the tree and Looked like they were solid but noooooo... Sticky sneaky sap!! 💜💚💙
I love your videos and have been following for a while. Every so often something happens where the alcohol in I guess doesn't blend well with the resin and after curing for a few days the back begins to crack. Is that due too much alcohol? I've really been trying to find an answer and figured I'd take a shot and ask you. Hope you see this :) Thank You
Great experiment. I prefer without the white. Too blobby with the white. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤. It is great to know that we can add lots of ink and get a cool design.
lol girl .. "Am I really going to leave it like this?" "I hope so" LOL ... I hope so too .. always choose that one .. it's the reason folks love to watch you xxx
I like this experiment. Maybe you could put white in spray bottle so the spots would not be big. I dont like when sometime that white spots on front are so big. But, white for shure make so beatiful efects...
Hi Loved your video..really helps to understand about using the white.. DOD I miss you showing the coaster with just White? I'm wondering what the would looked like by adding your inks and the on one only drop 3 drops of white, then one with just 5 drops, etc.... Keep up the great work, Kiddo
These are super neat! I'd love to learn how to use resin. I wonder what it would look like if you gathered all of the samples you've made (this particular size), stacked them and then turned on a light underneath them! Also, the one you used white first looks like an eye! I looks like you have an iris, a pupil and you can see through the pupil to the retina! I'm an eye technician and it peaked my interest! lol.
N00b here. Have you ever had a color change when it's cured? Is that normal? Is it a ratio thing? I used a Tim Holtz purple and it turned blue! I'm afraid to use my other Tim Holtz colors. I ordered alcohol inks from Art Resin and hope they'll be more reliable since I need purple for project.
I absolutely love all of them! My favorite thing to do is white alcohol ink then swirl it and then add gold on top! I sometimes swirl the gold as well! It’s one of my signature looks!😆
Hi, i love watching your videos! You make my day. I cant help but smile and even laugh at times. Anyway, i was wondering if you could tell me, how do you make resin molds shiny? Do i use petroleum jelly?
I think the more layers the more details and beauty they have... interesting on white first as well, I'd like to see more layers that way and perhaps some with alternating white layer colored black layer color white layer color ect...
This was such good timing lol i just bought some new inks yesterday and they're the Brea Reese Inks with the Pinata white lol but also the gold which is amazing so far
Just found your channel. You are ADORABLE!!! love it. Thanks for this video. New to Resin and adding alcohol inks. This helped tremendously. Been trying to get those results without white - didn't have any at the craft store and too impatient to wait for an order lol. Ok next test - If you put two layers of color in between the layer of white, does that make the colors more intense? Less washed out so to speak?
Do you think you can dilute the white a tad bit & that would help the white from coming thru so much? Also, I know you flip it over but can you use the back side to be the front instead?
Have you ever tried mixing he white with the colour first before you drop it into the resin. I don't particularly care for the white splodges but would be curious to see what the pastels look like without adding plain white.
So Idk if anyone else has said this but alcohol ink floats so sometimes I put a really thin layer of resin in first, then put in the alcohol ink, then fill the rest of the mold and as it floats to the top it kind of spreads the ink through the resin for a really cool effect. I did this a lot before I had any white ink to get any to sink to the bottom. Sometimes I do a small layer of clear resin- a layer of one color ink- more resin to raise the ink- then do another color- then more resin to raise it up and it’s so cool how they turn out!
Thank you for doing al these tests. Personally I am one of those people who does not like the white but I did like the one the white went in first and the one without any white. I'm a raw beginner so maybe in time ill find my way with colours and white. As one subscriber said what you call the front i would call the back. I love your work and your sparkly personality. Oh and your make up and hair xx
Sometimes, I like the back of a piece better than the front.....
I usually love both sides, so I make my coasters reversible. :-)
Me too
I agree with likening the back sometimes better
I’m so glad you commented on the hair matching because as soon as you held up the resin i was like “OH MYgod it matches her hair !!!!!”
The white layer first looks like an eye. It's so beautiful!
Big hello from Maine!! I’ve been watching your videos for a week or so because I’m getting ready to start playing with resin myself. You have been such an inspiration and I just love your attitude and how excited you get about colors and flowers. Thanks for brightening up my days 😊
I see a flower pattern in the no alcohol inc piece ^^
I also like the more inc look you do ^^ very interesting thou to see the differences! Very good job and idea!🙏☺
Watching the ink settle is literally one of the most satisfying things ever.
Thank you for this!!! Interesting comparison! I love the one with no white! I love that it is see through!! I wonder if you could use a little spray bottle for the white so that it sort of mists on instead of dripping. That might make a cool effect! Keep up the great work! I love watching you!!
What a great idea!
Love this idea!
Good idea, I would like to see this.
It works really well and looks cool. You just have to add to a small spray bottle. Don't add allot to the bottle because it will dry out after a few days. You can clean the nozzle by spraying alcohol through it

Definitely! I could do a whole video doing different effects! ❤️
So cool and interesting! The one with 1 layer looked like chiffon fabric. A lot of info that’s good for me as a “newbee”. Thanks a bunch!
This was SO helpful as someone who's just getting into working with resin for jewelry!
I’m so glad my video could help! ❤️
I love how you show us the difference. You are the only one who showed, not to put any white. That was super cool. I can’t wait to order my inks. Thank-you again.
I am in LOVE with this resin/alcohol effect!! I'm so glad I found your videos & can't wait until my inks arrive!!

Love.. i also think the depth of the molds play apart in the ink and the outcome of the piece.. would love to see a comparison between thicker mold and thin-ish molds
It would be fun to add alcohol ink at the top of a tall mold like some crystal shape molds you can find to make pendants
Newbie with resin, did some pours last night (first time using alcohol ink too) and loved watching this, Ive subbed because I love your attitude:)
Pls make a video on your spheres! I just found your channel the other day while looking for a way to preserve a butterfly I found over the summer, and then basically binged all ur videos and am now obsessed w this whole world of resin art!🥰

Needle tipped bottles. They are super cheap on Amazon. I purchased some to pre mix uv resin with color. But would be great for your white ink.
Is there a point at which the resin is diluted too much to set or will it just set with however much ink you use. I was scared to use too much in case it wouldn’t set properly. Love all your projects and experiments💕💕💕
It I've put a lot in once and it was soft, like putty(ish), so I left it out to dry for a few days and it cured all the way.
I love the pink purple ombre effect on your hair!
This was so awesome thank you for the experiment! I am so loving watching the inks and alcohol mix and twist together so cool to watch!! 😍
So informative. Thank you. I do love the one without white especially
I adore number 2 and number 4 and the one with the white layer first! They are all so pretty it’s killing me. I wish I had time to do resin, I’m trying to be satisfied with watching your amazing art creating but boiiii- it’s hard. So much gorgeous inspiration! 🤩
I just have to say I love the Watsky beenie. Was in the middle of another one of your videos and saw that, had to change just to comment! Tehe
I seriously love your personality! So mature of you to agree with the criticisms on your videos. "I love to make a mess"!!!! LOL!
So glad I found your channel! New to resin and am already addicted 🙃. Thanks for your thoughts and ideas!
I just started watching your videos. You are adorable. I love your personality and free spirit.
I have been interested in resin for a long time but never really knew what to do with it. After watching your videos I see the possibilities are really endless!

is it wrong that my absolute favorite is the first one without any white? it looks like a halved rainbow orange
I love all of them! I also noticed the color on the resin bottles matched your hair! Coincidence? LOL My faves were the one with out any white and where you swirled in the white first. I liked the one where you added white ink first it came out so nice (: it reminds me of jellyfish.
Just came across this video, you are such a genius. This is fantastic content that anyone working with resin and alcohol ink can appreciate!
So I am basically binge-watching a bunch of your videos which is why you will see my comments on a lot all of a sudden. Let me just say to get it out of the way . Your hair is AWESOME BEAUTIFUL. I can tell yews so happy... my favorite is the no white.

I love how it looks like the color ink looks like it is eating up the white ink ... soooo cool
Very helpful - thanks. I like LOTS of ink too so liked the 4 layers and the white layer first the best

I just adore u. U r so fun. And informative. I Just started this journey w/ resin. So far u & toonpish crafts r my favorites.
Love Love Love. Do you add another layer of resin after adding the inks?
Thank you so much for trying this. This question was Stuck in my head for a while. Love you and your Videos!
What if you mix the white ink with the colored ink first?
I love the one without white in it.
It looks like a rainbow grapefruit.🤩
What if you put the white ink in a spray bottle so the drops were smaller?
They're all beautiful, but I like the one with no white the best. Not as cloudy❤
I really like the idea of doing white ink first then adding the colour, think that would look quite effective in a crystal type mould.

I love watching your videos, I am new to this and it has been so much fun learning with you!!!! You are my kind of people!
Could you try putting the white in a spray bottle? Maybe the small spray bottle you can get in the travel size items at Walmart? Thanks.
ya know they're all cool but what I was fascinated with
was watching the way the ink would "dance" after you put them in
I'm. Addicted. Haha, love your videos and your crazy personality as it makes watching your videos extra fun! what 3 colors did you use for these, besides the white? Thank you! This was so much amazing info! You are awesome!!!
Hi Loved your video..really helps to understand about using the white..
DOD I miss you showing the coaster with just White?
I'm wondering what the would looked like by adding your inks and the on one only drop 3 drops of white, then one with just 5 drops, etc....
Keep up the great work, Kiddo
Thank you for doing this. Really helped me figure Alcohol ink out. Thank you

The clear one is my favorite!!! However they all came out nice... As usual! I guess everybody has their own "sweet spot😉"
The one without the white is sooooo pretty! I love it. I think my second fav is the one where you put the white in first. That one looked so unique!
Grew up in a rural town with lots of trees...so ya I feel you with the sap 😂
Do you think you can dilute the white a tad bit & that would help the white from coming thru so much?

Omg the 1st think I notice was that the bottle matched your hair and then you asked the question “what am I freaking about” lol
Last time I used A. Inks the piece didn't fully cure but I might have mixed it wrong. Can't wait to try again
I love the double white coating too! Just wondering, how long in between droplets do you wait for ?
Hi.. Just a quick question.. What do u think of acrylic ink???
Which is better.. Alcohol or acrylic and thank you
Plz answer me 😭💔
Do you think you'd be able to preserve paper flowers in resin or would you need to do something to paper first to preserve it?
