    Your work is stunning. I think that the white ink swallows up the pearl effect, but it still makes gorgeous stuff!

    I love tim holtz products he comes out with the best products need to get these pearl alcohol inks ...i have his old ones and distress inks he named them after disney things i think turned out breathtaking as always.. Think maybe the white takes away the pearl alot shine and glitter.. How many times do u drop in seems to use alot right??

    You are by far the easiest and most fun to watch with resin. You’re the reason I’m about to try my first dip into resin art today! I live in Alaska so it seems more difficult to get what I need, but I’m making it happen!

    The colors are very stunning and love every one of them. Great resin artwork with the flowers and I wonder if you were to use them without the white if you would see the shimmer more evident?

    Hi beautiful, I have a question... Don’t you think that the pearlescent effect gets lost with the white ink?
    When I do pearlescent Watercolours I have to be extremely generous with the paint in white backgrounds otherwise I cannot see the effect

    • @ArtsyMadwoman
      @ArtsyMadwoman  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! I do think that I should’ve used less white or even showed how they look without white ink. ❤️ I agree the pearlescent part got a little lost so I’ll try to show inks without white ink so we can see how it looks alone!

  • @leticiaderouen7692
    @leticiaderouen7692 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    My favorite video yet! You are really good at this...knowledgeable, funny, and just plain darling. I am just getting started, so I have only used Jacquard inks and a brand from Hobby Lobby "Brea Reese." The Jacquard is much more vibrantin and glossy, but the Reese inks have a larger color pallet. That being said, they create some very interesting designs (I have made some tiles that looklike old, worn stone...so, pretty cool.) They are the same price as the Holtz inks. I will get some of the Holtz inks. Thank you so much, again, for your wonderful videos! Looking forward to more. I hope you are well and happy, Darling Girl!

    I have to ask why you always add the white when making the testers? I feel it takes away from being about to see the actual color. When I do my ink with pearl powder I can see the shimmer really well.

  • @lorimcgarrity6537
    @lorimcgarrity6537 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey sweetie, to answer your question about turning the regular inks into the effect of the pearls, in case you haven't already figured it, NO you can't obtain that same look. At least not on paper. I tried using the irridesicent medium with it to get that penalized look and it didn't work the same at all. I got the set too cause I do adore alcohol inks but I didn't get them for the resin purposes at the time. When you add any additive like mica powders, etc it just will color your entire piece, not stick just to the ink. KWIM? Does that make sense.
