I think if Chuck Mangione knew how great he was in 1972, 50+ years later it's pretty much much moot. Would have loved to hear the heated negotiations at a country inn dinner between Fripp and Peter Gabriel about who gets Tony this year?
This trio is a collection of massive talent! Tony Levin also plays with Liquid Tension Experiment. the guy is a monster. Same as Pat the drummer who used to play with Mister Mister and Trey Gunn who is another talented genius.
Tony Levin really plays anywhere for a small group when it is music he loves, doesn't he? Craziness. I've seen him twice for 10 feet away. He seems as happy here as those big Gabriel arena shows.
@@jeremythornton433 It wasn't advertised very well at all. They played a similar sized venue (The Garrison) a few years back and I missed that one so I had been religiously stalking their website ever since to make sure I didn't miss the next time they did this. So glad I caught this.
