I have to agree with you on the fact that Cadi made a smart move going away from the touch buttons and went back to normal type buttons. I have sold a few preowned Cadillacs when I was a Chevy salesman from 16-17, the SRX, the XTS, CTS, etc... all had them and could be rather annoying. I have sat in a couple of these now that I take pictures and upload them on dealerships' websites and I definitely do like them. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to the driving review. I really like that Cadillac has gone back to hard buttons and improved the quality of the interior materials. And while this is perfectly nice, I'm wondering what would make me buy this over the XC40, X1, GLB, Q3, etc.? Needs to do something to have an edge on the competition.
Why is it that most car companies can't take cues from cell phone and mobile device manufacturers? The bezels on most of the display screens in cars are HUGE! Come on people give me less dead space and more screen. You certainly have the room for it. The Cellular Market figured out about 10 years ago that nobody wants a huge bezel around their device. Even television manufacturers use a minimalistic bezel. It seems like everybody gets it but the auto manufacturers. 😠😠😠
I’ve already reviewed almost the entire Lexus lineup. I will be posting another review of an LX next weekend and will review a GX later this summer, but I’ve already done the rest.
I wish they would had the spare tire for this car! Another problem I have with this car is that it doesn't have a third row, cause to me it looks long enough to have a third row!
Great video Matt. I have a quick unrelated question: did you ever get the Ford performance tune for your EcoBoost that allowed you to keep your warranty? What did you think about it? Do you recommend it?
I only did the Cobb tune and the Tuned+ tune. I don't have any experience with the Ford Performance tune but it never appealed to me because it still has compromises. For one, it only retains the warranty if the tune is "installed" by a Ford mechanic at the dealership, which makes it more expensive than it needs to be. Also, the 5 year powertrain warranty from Ford is replaced by a 3 year warranty by Ford Performance, so you still lose 2 years of coverage. It's better than no coverage I guess if your car is new, and being direct from Ford it should be the safest of tunes so if I had to tune my EcoBoost today that's probably the tune I'd go with.

That`s a good looking car. Here they will start from 43K Euro but at the moment you can just reserve one for 250 Euro. - So sad that the Dealerships are rare here. They would sell some more if someone here had the chance to see it in person or drive it.

Cadillac is already making hybrids and soon they will be making fully electric cars which I think is amazing since it will give a smoother ride and a longer lasting ride and to top that it will be humane to the planet so it’s a triple win!
A little more luxurious than the RDX (nicer materials in the Cadillac), but the RDX compensates by providing a lot more space and power for the same money.
No thanks this interior feels old. The kia tellruide is worlds better than this, even the mazda cx5 signature is much better than this. Nothing about this says luxury besides massaging seats.

Yeah it lets you set the height that the hatch opens up. It's helpful for those that like to open it inside a garage.
