You hit on so many key points! 💪🏽 So many little nuggets! Mental, physical and emotional health! All so incredibly important! And the “modern conveniences” summary was SPOT ON! Well said my friend!
It's amazing what can even be done in a typical suburban yard. Our house (paid off praise the Lord) sits in town on just 1/3 of an acre. I still grow a huge vegetable garden, fruit trees, grape vines, berries, and laying hens. For example, our breakfast today (January 1st) had fresh picked collard greens (mild Eastern Washington winter), onion, garlic, and fried potatoes, from our garden storage, and eggs from our own chuckens. We also had our own frozen raspberries and nectarines from the garden. It's good exercise growing all that stuff too. Hopefully we will get out on some rural acreage one of these days. In the mean time, I will hover somewhere between hard core old timey gardener and homesteader. 👍
That all sounds incredible, and you’ve accomplished it on just 1/3 of an acre-amazing! It really shows that anything is possible. I’m a bit envious of all your fruit; our attempts haven’t gone so well so far.
I will definitely follow and watch! Once I get this kiddos to bed tonight. I believe growing our own food, and maybe even extra to support the local community is going to be important for our future. Thanks for watching!
I think maybe the societal change your looking for happens, these days, one family at a time. Pray for those affected by HAARP Hurricane in Nc/Tenn. IYKYK. If not, look up quartz/lithium mines proposed in that area. Meanwhile, back at the stead, we try, fail, adjust. But we NEVER EVER QUIT! Be blessed y'all Yashua rules!
Great video. Just found your channel and quickly subscribed.
So glad to have you here!! 💛

Just did a video on Victory Gardens and the importance of growing food and being ready, when you get a chance, watch it, tell what you think
