Damn, the thing about us NTPs empathizing with computers hit hard lmao. They're kind of like a friend that you don't have to actually exchange any kind of emotional connection with

Hearing an ENTP speak is like listening to the voice inside my own head. Nice to hear Ne thoughts being explained clearly and elegantly without sounding crazy which is normally what happens when an INTP speaks.

Hey Tony, thanks for the video. You should pose a question at the end of your videos this way it would be easier for people like me to interact and comment 😁
If someone disagrees with your analysis in the comment section, doesn't belittle your experience in my opinion it only makes things more interesting, this is the internet, people love to argue, let them.

I agree, otherwise Tony, close your comments or maybe publish a book.
My goal and enjoyment is learning and discourse.

This is a very good analysis and tribute to Aaron Swartz, who indeed has achieved a lot for the Internet and for access to information. His contribution needs to be recognized and remembered.

Great video! Not enough people on TH-cam cover Aaron Swartz' work.

I'm really enjoying these interview analyses. As I've said before, seeing real people exhibiting their functions makes it all make a lot more sense.
I've been hesitating to watch a few SJ examples, mostly because I'm still in my fighting phase with the SJs (and IJs) around me. But I guess I should get on with it so that I can understand them a bit more, right?
Anyway, thanks for another educational video. You're doing a good job.

I'd say learning how the functions operate and manifest themselves will overall give you insights and a better understanding of how and why people operate the way they do, and also why certain things people do can make you tick. That was definitely the case for me. I'm glad you have been enjoying my content, Alex!

    Good stuff.
I agree; this guy is a Tesla Coil.
And, with all due Respect, I find myself compelled to give some feedback (regarding your intro here)...
I get that it can be frustrating/draining to "argue" with people regarding accurate type & all..
Thing is, yours is pretty much the only Typology Channel within which the content author will actually interact/"debate" with people in a Respectful manner.
It's what the typology "community" craves.
Also, & specifically, regarding your statement(s) (@01:00) about "type" vs. "function presentation..."
    Well, exactly.
How is it that those two ideas/principles are mutually exclusive??
In fact, I submit that the veracity of your assessment(s) is/are 100% hinged upon whether or not the two *actually* match.
I'm looking forward to more material.
    (Respect)

Thanks Dolf, reading your comment was a relief. Like I said, I've been studying this stuff for a long time now and I want to give back to the community what I see actually works- in terms of showing function usage and how you can apply that in your own life and understanding of typology. I try to put it as simply as I can without trying to hide behind an unnecessarily complicated and unquestionable system. Unfortunately, that opens up opportunities for trolls and people that crave attention who just want to argue and ruffle some feathers, when in reality they are completely missing the point of what I am trying to do here. Sometimes it feels like I'm preaching to deaf ears, most people don't want to listen, they just want to be right. But, that's just the sacrifice I have to make I guess. So many of these keyboard warriors are quick to criticize and they want to flaunt their own knowledge and perspective, but when you ask them what they've done in terms of actually putting their own hard work and effort into making content for the public, it's usually just crickets.

he sounds like an Intp, a developed one, I can see myself in him

    • @psychocandy8093

Could be, but the way he naturally projects his energy comes across as more extroverted, he doesn't seem to hold back at all and he looks as if he was able to voice his thoughts fairly easily. This is outside the footage in this video but Aaron achieved a lot in his short life, constantly bouncing from project to project... to me it's more suggestive of 6th slot Te rather than 5th.

nobody sounds more closely to an entp than INTPs and so same vice versa if you didnt know I could relate to every INTP ever born as well being ENTP. That being said he definitely seems dominant Ne

    • @psychocandy8093
      @psychocandy8093  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@mrjonjoe1895 Not only Ne dominant but also developed Fe and strong Te. Like I said I just don't see 5th slot Te here, he achieved/developed/invented so much especially considering his short life. From what I have seen it generally takes much longer for INTPs to assert themselves onto the world, as with most introverts in general.

I am an ENTP and I'm a fierce advocate for free speech. And the problem for me is, I'm a racist, islamophobic, homophobic, mysogynist so living in the UK with it's hate speech laws is a fucking nightmare for me.
