Thank you for making this analysis! Jarvis is one of my favorite musicians😍...although I always speculated that he was possibly an INFP or ISFP. But some type of INxx, like INTP makes a lot of sense, too. :)
Really interesting video! I always figured Jarvis was INFP. They are genuinely interested in understanding people and the worlds they inhabit, which is what Pulp was all about th-cam.com/video/-E9iGRaBeYk/w-d-xo.html. Many of their songs also highlight social injustice, on both a large and small scale (and in classically bitter fashion). That Common People became such a popular song shows how in touch he is with others. In interviews, Jarvis comes across as very self-critical, and I think his admittance to not being an emotional person may be a symptom of this. His lyrics clearly show a very emotive side which he might not express around others, as is common with INFPs, especially in relationships. He's also very in touch with his feminine side, was brought up around women and feels more comfortable with women in general, but that might be more of a INFP stereotype. But I really loved the video and it has made me re-evaluate my opinion.
Both types can be equally witty and quirky, but his first answer in which he says his performance is influenced based on how the audience receives him and the band (water/magnesium analogy) is more reflective of 4th slot Fe rather than 1st slot Fi. Another example would be 'I'm not a very emotional person unless I'm on stage etc.,' there is a desire to connect to others which more resembles Fe in its collective and objective sense. Generally speaking of course INFP's would be more focused on being genuine and authentic regarding their own inner emotional state, more so than how the audience would perceive them.
Are we sure he can't be istp? I find it bizarre that he expresses things more by jestures than through words. An istp would also have a strong Ni in third slot, though it would be more playful. Definetly the guy has Fe inferior and Fi demon though.
I don't believe anyone can ever be 100% certain about when it comes to typing celebrities but I am pretty confident about Jarvis resembling INTP here. He has some quick and witty remarks in this video which leads me to believe he is Ti-Ne. INTP celebrities are extremely hard to find because they tend to stay away from the spotlight in general. I have my own techniques that I use when it comes to hand movements and gestures, but Kiersey's view on them (the temperaments) is generally alright for helping to distinguish SP vs NT.
"im not very emotional person" only intp can say that

Oh my god !!! Jarvis and yes it’s so clear..
8:30 for pure intpness
he is showing the movement of the linked ideas in his head
Great video! Would love to see an example of a female INTP as well :)
It would be interesting to know if female INTPs are as unemotional as male INTPs.

Love Jarvis i am . ENTP
He strikes me more as INFP. Definitely Se polar, but seems more fluid and talks more like one

Psychocandy he does seem almost undoubtably INTP in this video plus your analysis

dellh86 I find it bizarre that people in the comment section are speculating types other than the INTP.
