Although I know all this stuff it’s nice to watch someone carry out these satisfying tasks. I have two matching leader et4s that have been in dry storage for at least 4 years now (kids eh) so I’ll probably make similar vids when the time comes.
I’ve had a pre-leader euro et4 and it was great fun. Much more grunty than the leader, if a little more delicate on the transmission.

Great reference video as always. As a new owner of a 2005 et4 that was serviced by VMS, I've been checking various maintenance items and found no issues. I just need to ride it.

Just found the fuel tap for my Vespa! Occasionally I had to tap the fuel tap with the spark plug tool to get the fuel flowing! Cheers from Costa Rica!

Watching you fiddle around getting that fuel tap off has made my mind up, mine works but I have the tank out the scooter so I think I’ll replace the tap!

When putting rubber hoses over fittings or carburetors into manifolds and they are a little tight, a little WD-40 works wonders. Same thing when installing anything with an O ring. I usually use a little vaseline on new O rings to make them slippery and prevent tearing them when pushing them into something, like when putting the vacuum petcock into the tank. Charging voltage seems awfully low. I like to see close to 14V when revving the engine. They did use to be user serviceable, EFI kind of changed all that.

Man ! A massive thank you for your fantastic vidéos re: ET4! Mine has also been sitting for 8 years in my garage and looks like I can maybe do the work myself with your videos ! Did you by any chance make one to remove the (inaccessible) spark? 😂 In any case, keep the great work ! Love it

Excellent video series, Robot! I just want to ask, the holes in variator cover near the clutch bell were original? Or is it some modification done by the owner? My CVT cover gets really hot in summer so I thought about making few holes in clutch bell area to exhaust the hot air as I drive. Greetings to California!

Who makes those Extended Needle Nose Pliers. And do you sell them ? They look like a tool I want/need.

Piaggio still use cable ties on the intake manifold on the typhoon. 😬
    It's getting there. 👍

My ET4 150 engine has irregular vibrations while it is on without accelerating. Gas usage is excessive. Compression looks good, but those vibrations have increased recently. Would that be the carburetor? Any recommendations or experience would be useful.

Hello Robot! I have to change carb on my et4 150 '02, original is a Dell'orto PHVD22BS. It can be find at about 300€ 😕 What's your advise about other compatible and cheaper carburetor? Thank you, you're the best 🤟

What would make an ET4 lose power and backfire about the time the fuel light starts coming on? feels like it has fuel starvation. I have replaced the petcock and fuel line. Help!
