I just picked up an original transitional m17 and while looking closely I saw Normandy camo ,those are some of the coolest camouflaged helmets I have ever seen
I love your collection I have a collection myself only 145 items tho my favorite is my paratrooper helmet with a bullet hole in it that still had the original bullet inside
Amazing helmets, I mostly collect US M1 due to them being cheaper, but not to long ago I managed to get a German M40 made in late 1944 by Quist. The helmet has a liner band from 1943 with hair in the liner band and a 12 marking. The chinstrap was also made in 1944 in Konigsberg Germany.

Hi, Nick, I'm so glad you are sharing your collection with us. The helmets are amazing--such beautiful colors! It is great that you respect the history of all your collection and finds! I'm still waiting to see that fabulous helmet you're saving for...please be sure and share it when you get it! Thanks so much!
I love to share my collection with people like you who love History, i'm really glad you like it, thank you!! :D The helmet i'm going to buy is a Double Decal SS helmet, it's 11K, but i can get it a little cheaper because i'm good friends with the person i'm buying it from! But it's still a lot of money, so i have to save some for awhile, haha! I will make a video for sure if i have it! :) Thanks!! Gr Nick
Very nice I love it! Them colors are real and used on many other things. A guy not far from where I live has a Hetzer tank in a huge collection and among other items the Hetzer is painted about them same colors in its camo.
you have inspired me to make my own display for my WWII items and I have to thank you because it looks much better all together than spread out across my house!
just subscribed to your channel, I've seen some of your videos and they're all very interesting. I'm really interested in WW2 history and artifacts. just wish I could have a nice collection someday
Its easy for him to have a collection cause were he lives all you need is metal detector shovel and dig theres relic all over were he lives.. He has a great collection in on of his videos he dugged out around 9 helmets i wish i live over there..
Fantastic items 👍🔥 These days buying directly from Vet’s (usually families of vets cause they are almost all gone😕) is your best bet. SO many fakes/reworked helmets etc on the market. Especially when it comes to camo helmets! It’s odd, you would think there would be tons of camo helmets, but there sure aren’t. I got a nice score from a vets son 4-5 months back. Lots of mint NOS stuff that he simply picked up from abandoned German depots in France, several Luft m40’s that are dead mint. Sadly no Camo helms though. Best helm from the group is probably a lightly combat worn Kreigsmarine m40 by ET. Very jealous buddy! I don’t want to fork out the cash for one from a high end dealer lol. Btw, did you ever get the DD SS you spoke about saving for a while back? I’d love to see it.
A m35 shell, apple green TE 66 and 27..maybe ?27 or 27? I cant see more. Any link to know more with these numbers on shells (I saw you can know date, paint, luft, heer,ss and others). Thanks
Indeed, impressive these 2...very personal WW2 relics ! Amazing condition/status (also inside too...) ! and...really interesting details ! Even the scratches 'give' them a...plus of..."history flavor" (WW2...Normandy...)... ;-) I'm almost 100% sure that underground...ALL these original 'layers' of camouflage paint would not have been preserved ...
Wow! I have a Q62 helmet with the exact lot number as your Kriegsmarine helmet! Even a video not concerned with lot number identification can help with the subject!
I’ve been lightly saving up for a German helmet, but I can’t find a good helmet with a liner that isn’t rusted badly under 200 dollars. Is there a good place to look for cheaper helmets? Or should I just pay the high price?
That first lid was sold on a dealer site (helmets of war) awhile back. Not sure how you claim to be the first collector in possession of it. Also, if I recall correctly, data base has it as a Luft not DD Police. Still, a nice lid.
Amazing helmets Nick 😀😀😀👍👍👍 amazing colors as well, I would rather have these helmets than some in mint condition since these ones you can see that have been used btw never sell them 😀😀😀 greetings Quentin
That’s an amazing original helmet and looks like it needs to be stored in a museum ohh wait your room is a museum love it and do not paint over it that will ruin history
Nice promoot u ander kanaal ook die is ook best goed, ps bij ons zeggen ze als ge kaal plekken hebt dat je bed te klein is miss geldt dat voor de helmen ook. 🤔🤔😄😄 grts
Ok so help me out I did some research when the first spray paint can that we know and use today was Invented in 1949, canned spray paint was invented by Edward Seymour, the first paint color of choice to be put into a can was aluminum. And it was Edward Seymour's wife Bonnie that suggested the use of an aerosol can be filled with paint. I didn’t find any spray paint information before 1949 so what did they use if not a hand brush for painting helmets
Sometimes, if they were really lucky, but a helmet isn't made to stop bullets, only shrapnel and stuff like that :) If you shoot a German helmet at close range, it will penetrate the steel easily. Gr Nick

If you can't handle that, and if you are jealous, go cry somewhere else and don't watch my videos :)
