- Straight off the Ferry from Geelong We ride over the central highlands of Tasmania to Hobart. Still on her learner plates Lee has a few Oops moments. We abandoned one bike and push on two up on over a mountain pass into Hobart. Geez did the weather change that day!!
❤❤ you two are amazing! And I’m so impressed with lea’s riding skills 👏 me thinks postie bike easier than pedal bike 🚴 good idea going two up through the mountain pass. It’s awesome sharing some of your adventure in your videos . Keep them coming xx
So lovely to see what you guys are up to. Keep'em coming 👍 (Denis and Kyla)
If Honda ever needs durability testing on their Postie bikes, they'll know who to call! Enjoying your videos.
Thanks, They are amazing bikes.
Thanks, I’ll look into it. Just went up Mt Wellington!! Surprised how well it went with the origin gearing, just a bit smelly at the top.
Awesome through the twisting mountain road and up the Hobart hill riding 2 up, . these little bikes in stock format are absolutely amazing where they will go, I enjoy riding mine so much, . its just a pity they are so de tuned for the Australian market.
Have you had a performance re map done on your ECU... there is a common profile for these bikes getting around that will do wonders to the stock tuning , if you haven't then you should ask around the Honda dealers if they have the other profile, will make a huge difference, They could easily backup your existing ECU.BIN file to USB and then reprogram your existing ECU.
I'm planning to do a fair bit of touring around Oz on my own CT over the next few years, Ive gone a bit radical with my preparations by adding a 150cc kit, plus upgrades to the air intake pipe and exhaust header, that will net me heaps more low down torque and top end speed, plus Im adding a 5 speed close ratio gear set that combined l will make the little beast more than highway capable.
Looking forward to watching your further adventures.
'The Only Reason I Ride Is For Coffee & Cake' should be printed on a t-shirt. It's one of my main reasons for riding.
Nice to know others share the joy. Never had a bad meal in Tas. Can't say that for many of my other rides
Should take a look at the Cockle Creek down south..
Coming back in Feb, Weather permitting will go down there
