There are a lot of things that make the 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid stands out. One of them is its almost unheard of silence when running at fast speed. Also, its fuel economy is impressive for its type back in the day, as you can see in this clip: @ It recorded an impressive 44 miles per gallon for both city and highway settings. I cannot think of a 2012 variant that was as impressive as this model.
Is the car able to run on pure electricity for a little bit like toyota's hybrids ? Or is it just the the electric battery works together with the engine to improve fuel economy ?
I bought a 2011 Honda Insight that has the the same hybrid system as this Civic. I loved the fuel savings. Couldn't stand how boring and underpowered it was, ended up trading it in for a new Subaru. Now I'm happy.
to get combined mileage it is not as simple as adding and dividing...the epa combined numbers are more biased towards the city number....so if a car is rated at 20 city 30 hwy it would be 24 combined not 25
I dont like the batteries of this generation of civic hybrid, because has like component "LI" . This type of batteries is good for all conditions, but durring not so long... Last generation with NIMH , it's for only ideal conditions and can't durring much longger. Design is good but I dont like this silent V-tec motor of 1.5 liter. Honda has experience much better on 1.4 liter

So many recalls with the previous models. The MPG suffered with each software upgrade. Like my smartphone. :(
you are wrong, you can set wallpaper in the standard Civic as well. Its a new feature on all Hondas that have the new i-MID screen :)
finally! haven't seen car reviews in here for a while
@alex9030018 Its a HYBRID so yes. ELECTRIC is what doesnt use fuel. Hybrid is a mix of gas engine and electric engine
he didnt comment on the rear seat not being able to fold down cause of the batt, that stoped me from buying one before on the other versions.

Uploading the wallpaper is simple in my 2012 Honda Civic LX

Ummmm 44 city and 44 highway gives a total gas milage of 88 combined. NOT 44
Front design of the older model is better looking to me

@JULESRULES9969 And apparently do less damage in the long run.
$30,000 to start saving on gas does NOT make financial sense.

Exactly: it's COMBINED not AVERAGE. It's called ADDITION, Einstein. Have your mom help you with your math homework.
44 + 44 = 88/2 = 44 Combined.
it's called math.
Man, those seats look uuuuuuuuugly.
