to the oldies..Who is here is 2024? Oldies keep rockin' on and on..😁
These are the days we didn’t care what color we were we loved each other 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
....loved each other' & The days, when >TRUE Singers didn't NEED the WHOLE 'gimnastics /aerobic teams' behind Them to >Sound GREAT. JUST Their Amazing Voices...
Greetings from Poland.
Negative 😂this was music released during the prime of segregation. Stop trying to remix history
But it had white and black kids starting to hang out an find common ground in music, cars, clothes. We idolized black cats. The Commies inspired riots and The Civil Rights act of 64 put a damper on the progress made in 50s and 60s
Oh man you opened up a can of worms! Great time to be a white man, but is really sucked to be a woman or a black person.
@@thegoodkingjustice Great music YET segregation & other social ills were ripe.
The BEST damn music ever! That's WHY people are still listening to it for more than 50 year plus. The singers will pass away BUT not their music.!

Lmk
L mmm
And may we never forget the way they made us feel. Nobody can take that away. ❤️
Remenber yesteryears

When it comes to music, our generation was the best. This is memory lane.
As I watch this, I am no longer 76 years old, my wife and I are dancing at the prom in high school. What great memories. Tim M. 5-19-2024
This is when people had class and real talent 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
They wore clothes and lyrics we could understand , not filthy vaulgar language that most of the world accepts , sad ! The best era gone !
Listen up folks.. This is when music was music. Not the crap they give us nowadays. I would give anything to go back...
Ain't lying weather listen to this music ❤😂
Me and you both😊miss those days
SoTrue this is the Good old days.😊
This is my end only my favorite music ❤️👏
You will go back , me too in HEAVEN !! A fifties girl....
This should have tens of millions of views and committed to the National Archives / Library of Congress....
We are losing our culture if we do not fight for it. Back in the 90s, there used to be plenty of golden oldies (pre-1964 British Invasion) radio stations. Now they are extinct.
Time to build an oldies broadcast station. Yes it can be done, just takes money and land.
I am 78 years old and I grew up with this music. We had a lot of Pittsburgh groups back then. I hope that future generations keep this music 🎶 going on and on.
I'm 80 from the Burgh and I remember Porky Chedwick leading the music revolution on WAMO.
Don't know what part of the Burg you are from, l grew up in the North Hills area and remember seeing a lot of acts at West View Park.
@@MonGoalian Rock on man of steel!
Love that music forever, I am 76 and love every song ! Takes me back to the late 50's and early 60's.
I'm with you, buddy
I am 76but I was just teleported back to the 1950s and 1960s. I think I just will stay around.
Thanks so much for the fantastic music.
I am a 82yo gramma. I was 13 when I found JOCKO, a disk jockey from philly(?). Heard BO DIDDLEY . I NEVER LOOKED BACK. I went thru all other bands and singers, British Invasion, fell in love with the guitar solo, hated rap, cause you can’t dance to it! I still LOVE do wop because I become a Bobby soxer again when I hear it. LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL! God bless all the artists.
When you think about it all started with kids on the street singing rock and roll in the 1950’s. So many of them had such good singing voices. That, in itself is amazing! It’s true American culture. No where else in the world was this happening. It’s home grown American exceptionalism! This is the music that spawned the Beatles and everything else that followed....
billmitchell3329, PLEASE! The drugged out Beatles couldn't handle this kind of music. I seriously doubt any from the British invasion would have a clue what this real music was all about. Clean, great harmonies, no foul language, just straight music at it's finest!
This is the only music worthy of listening to the harmony and memories keep me going
The best of the best talented singers really this miss this type of talent and songs🥰
The greatest music ever made
sadly most of these artists have passed, Im so glad I got to see most of my favorite groups from that era at Westbury music Fair over the years
I remember these great moments in time when there was not all this hate great music 🎶
Great memories of a time when music was the best.
God bless all these souls who entertained us for many years. Angels in disguise
I love all these songs 🎉🎉🎉 remindes lomy young days 🎉🎉🎉
THIS IS WHEN AMERICA WAS GREAT!
NO! This is when MUSIC was great!
@@jbrown-caminita2926 Exactly. NOT America.
I’m 85 years old & I love love this kind of music!
25 and i’ve been listening to this since i was 19, so grateful for youtube and this channel for being able to share memories like this, you’re incredibly lucky to have lived through these times! I often wish i could have lived through those times
We would have to stay up pretty late without mother knowing to hear the black artists. But i like them all. It is music of my youth.
I did not know that The Brooklyn Bridge recorded 16 Candles, so did a google search, actually it was first recorded when Johnny Maestro was with The Crests. I was more a 50's child, with 5 older siblings, the first 3 of those 50's so I grew up listening to their music.
Best music ever!!❤
My favorite number was the Del Vikings Come Go with Me. 9:16 And it always amazes me how many beautiful women can be found on violins.
So many have died since this was aired. Maybe all. Loved them all.
Takes me back when I was a Kid
My mother taught me to dance. Love this music. I have some of them on CD. But I have nobody to dance with me AMEN
Great Preformance

These songs were the best and the entertainers knew how to sing so you could understand the lyrics, miss those days!
The oldies but goodies music will never die when I was cruising down Hotel Street in Honolulu 1958 with my 55 Chevy listen to the oldies until today it still sound the same I have it all on a track and full track tapes believe it or not we used to hang out at the Ala Moana Drive-In down at Waikiki Beach area I will never forget these oldies but goodies kept me happy all through the years 6550 thank you so much for keeping it on LBJ Nowinski thank you so much

WHEN MUSIC WAS MUSIC !!!!!
I was born in1956 and love these songs .My aunt was 13 years older then me and when I visited my grandparent we would dance in her room to these songs. Good memories.
I can appreciate the talent, I can appreciate the connecting music, I can appreciate the fantastic memories …. But do they have to be so damn good lookin!!
That was a little before my time but this is back in the good old days right up to the 70s and 80s !! After that music has dropped to the bottom and will never be the same again!! All we have now are memories but thank god for that!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Correction on the track tape is a 8-track and four track that I still have it since 1958 and it still plays like new believe it or not I think I'll be Nowitzki so much for what he does might not pronounce his name right but he's polish so that's where we at thank you so much for keeping the doo-wop on my cell phone
Such great memories. 💖🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶😊😊
👍 This is great music. Not one curse word and you can understand the lyrics....One of them should change their name to LIL DOO WOP to get the younger generation listening 😂.
I'm 57 and I love this music
Come Go With Me has everything I want in a song.
I’m 84 and so happy to hear these songs again! Great music 👏👏👍💕
I am so glad we can still listen to this music. This is real music.thank you all
As long as we keep playing it will never be gone.
My brother sent this to me. I'm from the 70's music world, but remember this wonderful music playing in my childhood home. Actual people sang words you could understand, and danced and played musical instruments. Today, it's computers,
barely dressed nincompoops jumping all over the place and lyrics that may as well be pig Latin.
Like back in the day , when everyone was cool 😎
God is having a ball hearing all of the best songs in heaven What tremendous music and songs.Never to be compared Simply the Greatest Music ever!Rest in peace you great Singers of all time Love it ❤❤😂😢Miss it so much 🎶🎶
Takes me back to my high school days 1952-1956! Got a class reunion coming up on Aug 27-wonder how many of us are still around and a so blessed to show up
How was the Reunion? Great I hope
I'm 76, and sure do remember this music. The kids today don't even know what real music is. Shame.
Humph! This is real music.
This is REAL music!
Might have been when oldest sister started High School, she and an older brother bought the 78RPM's to replace records that came with jukebox, dad bought used.
This was one of them. (The Platters was playing when I typed this) I liked it, but was more fond of the fast songs ~ Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Fats Domino.
We had the best music. Happy to have been part of this time of music. 🎶😊Doo Wop is the best.🩰🎶
Born in 81, and had radio Stations 93.5 and 100.9 that would play late 50s thru late 60s as "my oldies". Blessed to know them all by heart. Jimmy Beaumont of The Skyliners has one of my favorite voices of all time.
I'm 69 years old and these songs bring back memories to me with these songs come back today
Now they sing in Heaven.🎼🎼👍👍👮♂️
This nite they all gathered in Pittsburgh and put on a Doo Wop show produced by TJ Lubinsky.
The way they harmonize, their outfits, and their sound puts these groups in a class of their own.
Unlike today, where most of the groups lóok and sound like they just crawled out from under a rock.
These groups are pure perfection... Simply eye and ear candy!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love, love love this music....I have a massive wide taste in music of several eras but you just cannot beat this stuff! My teens was spent in the 80s and I loved that but I am envious of all you folk who spent their teenage years listening to this music! Soo talented and amazing harmonies! Just one big wow! ❤
My favorite music I listen every day makes me relax and enjoy dancing good exercise ❤️❤️❤️
82 years old and still love the belly rubbing music. Also known as make out music
Your precious Love, Best ever, Jerry the Iceman, Butler nothing could ever top it. You are a National Treasure !!!!
All they needed was a microphone and not all the theatrical nonsense going on the stage. Their voices were great and they were sexy. Pure romance.
Absolutely beautiful great production
This is when music was music. Best of all times ..
This is a great show. Music today doesn't compare to this.
