I was born in 1944. Loved this music as a young teen. My Mother let us listen to it even though she loved country music. Said she couldn’t understand the words of the rock and roll songs .
I love these songs...miss them...thank you for bringing them back
Born In 1961, but I had an older brother and two older sisters who introduced me to this beautiful music. Still think I was born a little late in time.
I would love to go back in these days
At 85 I was around for the birth of Do Wop.
I’m 45. I’ve never heard DooWop live. I was born in another era. But fell in love the first moment I heard it. And I’m from Russia.

Doo Wop !!! Just love it ! 👊
Greetings from Brazil 🙏
It is a real complement to the group to see the band members sitting back and admiring the Marcels.
No, only two members was originals. Thet were Fred Johnson, bass singer, and Cornelius Harp, both passed away.
Love all these songs! Thank you so much!!
You have a super “nack” for producing these Doo Wop productions! I am so glad I found you.
My kind of music 🎶 love allof it
Awesome ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉, thank you for sharing. Happy memories 🙏👍
I'm 60 years old and I'm the kind of man who chooses the best of the best and it doesn't get any better than when music could be understood and enjoyable
Growing up in Philly in the late 50's and into the '60s, we didn't realize how good we had it, music wise. Listening to WFIL and WIBG (Wibbage), it was one good song after another. And, if you didn't't like the song that was currently playing, there was a great chance you would like the next one. And disc jockeys like Jerry Blast and Harvey Holaday made sure we heard the songs of groups like the one in this video. Great, great times
This music is pure class
Nice song those days 👍 great ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
1/14/24 I was born in 1954 & was literally RAISED on this music. ❤❤ At 4 or 5 I was given a transistor radio & a phonograph player. When my parents dragged me along to some boring adult thing where there were no other kids, I would always bring my radio or player & my "stax of wax" 45s w/me. Im from LA so the tops for me were #KRLA & #KFWB. I loved all the "oldies" & Doo Wop live requests & dedications that would go out over the AM airwaves. I've been hooked on most branches of Rock n Roll since 1954 - we were, after all, born the same year. 😄 Although I became both a Hippie & a certified "head banger" in 1967, Doo wop & Motown have always had a special place in my heart. At almost 70 😢 now Im still a hardcore headbanger from Jimi to Eric to Foo Fighters to Rage Against The Machine. Favorite band till I die: "my boys," ❤ The Stones. ❤ If it wasn't for Doo Wop - there would be no Stones or Beatles, etc. Doo Wop brings back SO many happy memories & of a time of great hope & great social change that, IMO, doesn't exist anymore. I cry a lot - sad & happy - when i hear these treasured songs bc so many ppl I shared them with have long passed on or "arent here" - especially my 2 cousins. One has passed, & one, at 84, has had dementia since 2023. But ... *THIS* music - *DO WOP* - this is what brings me full circle & brings me home. My all-time favorite & also the Southrn CA lowrider's anthem: *In The Still Of The Night.* My favorite singers: The Ice Man (Jery Butler) & Dion. ~°~°~° Happy memories to all born before 1958 & to any of you newbies born 1958 or later - welcome & enjoy! This is what REAL music, what QUALITY music, sounds like!

They were great
Cornelius Harp one of the greatest leads. Without him The Marcels were not the same. Colpix Blue Moon Lp my favorite LP from that time. Every Song great their cover of other groups songs are even better than the original Artists Recording
If I could relive 2 years of my life again, it would be 1960/61. Listening to great doo wop songs likes and the special people and friends I had then. So glad I can remember them and WHS. Harry B
