Farbanti is just the punching bag of whoever is the next ace of the Osean Federation. Then again it is tradition for any up and coming ace to completely destroy Farbanti.
They've only been the punching bag of the Osean Federation once... I would know, I fought in the Usean Continental War. The ISAF was a conglomerate of the other Usean states.
AC04 Didn't need to have this whole bit of alternate history attached to it, but it did, and it made your actions as a player felt much larger as a whole. I really wanted more background on how the Erusians knocked back ISAF to North point, and the beach landings of Operation Bunker Shot (AC6 and AC Infinity made the amphibious landings felt a lot more impactful). Also man. Tango Line, all those air strips with VTOL aircraft in the craters.
Erusea captured Stonehenge early in the war so, ISAF had almost no air cover, up until the east coast. North Point was the first place they had undisputed control of the skies.

Got hit by asteroids which crippled their infrastructure. One even hit their capital and sunk their main financial district into the ocean. They got beat in 2 of the largest wars the world had ever seen, and was Balkanized at the conclusion of the second. Hopefully they can catch something of a break in the future, but the ending of AC7 did sort of imply that everything wasn’t entirely over. Starting with the 'Usean Continental War' with two campaigns (Erusea and ISAF) and side stories from occupations would be mint in an age of tasteless monetized games. Combine BF1 immersion, and BF3 fun (but in the late 90's to early 2000's) in the multiplayer. Open the campaign shooting down asteroids as the Spaceguard Turret Network to make the damage that occurs feel like your fault for the tragic post planetfall events occurring. Erusean main story ends with you being cycled back into San Salvacion actually meeting the Yellow Squadron at the iconic bar. ISAF ends with you at megalith, which then unlocks the Erusean defensive battles from their side and Free Erusea campaign parts for both. If that succeeds, then comes The Belkan War. 'The Inferno' has to be one the of the most horrifying immersive experiences to tell in an FPS. Rated M borderline AO game for sure. Tons of bodies (probably people the MC knows), heartbreak, and arson. Lead in for A World with No Boundaries (expansion missions) and Grey Men introduction for the Circum Pacific War. An 'Avanti Savoia!' ending indeed for these "losers" campaigns. If they can keep with the mood of their classic aesthetic of the times and cutscenes, it will sell. I have been denied my Osean scalp collection accolades and JPEG Dog tags for too long.
It was always fun when Erusea was the villains. It's such a fantastic story element more typical of something you'd see in, like... idk, Game of Thrones or something, yet it's presented in a (reasonably) grounded and real geopolitical setting _without_ being a joke or minor element. It's probably why I became a monarchist in the first place.

Farbanti is just the punching bag of whoever is the next ace of the Osean Federation. Then again it is tradition for any up and coming ace to completely destroy Farbanti.
IStandWithErusea
Well if Erusea would stop attacking Usea or Osea, their capital would stop getting that sort of treatment
Also skyeyes birthday is when farbanti always gets invaded lol
They've only been the punching bag of the Osean Federation once... I would know, I fought in the Usean Continental War. The ISAF was a conglomerate of the other Usean states.
So.....farbanti is area b7r?
Imagine they did a spin-off game where we play as the "Villain" of the games.
That is Erusea, Belka and Leasath, etc.
Would be a rollercoaster of emotion
Namco already did that back since AC3, so there was an opportunity already to develop Strangereal.
Come to Ace Combat for the sick aircraft. Stay in Strangereal for the lore.
Finally more Ace Combat content 😩
Erusea didn't become an Osean puppet; everyone basically ended up becoming megacorp puppets instead.
Probably the biggest down side of solving all your problems with really cool planes, is that the people who make those planes basically win no matter what...
Then why is belka a soldering husk?
@@SoloWing88 Belka is still around after causing almost every war in the series, and is *still* selling weapons without causing a fuss, which all sounds like a win to me.
I mean Grey Men kinda proved Osea was already a megacorp puppet
@@bubbasbigblast8563 *Without causing a fuss in public

@@bubbasbigblast8563 they only started two war not every war and the second belkan war was caused be Osea not Belka pretty much like the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 and a lot of what osea do even the lighthouse war could be a lot of propaganda to keep there occupation of south belka (the war was caused be a ultranationalist belkan : Osea says its the fault of Belka when a lot of the reason for the war was the presence in the continent of Osea)
The time has come… Execute Order *MISSILE MISSILE MISSLE!*
So what you're trying to say, is that
If we are to take the simulated war in AC3 seriously, Erusea is...kinda fubar as a true government. Also most of Usea as well. And probably the rest of the Strangereal world, too.
IT was a simulation designed to train an AI to assassinate a cucked software developer.
I think the simulation timeline can be ignored.
@@TheFlyingSailorYT INB4 Ace Combat 9 is AC 3 but for real this time
@@TheFlyingSailorYT
I'm not so sure. The guy who programmed Nemo, Simon, was an underling of the person who designed the two boss drones in AC7. And General Resources did make an appearance in the DLC missions.
There is a whole listing of theory in TVTropes to support this line of reasoning.
Usea is already under GR and Neucom by the time the simulation started
@@seancarroll9849 Yet the Electrosphere did not exist, at least not yet in AC 7, it could be the fact that the warring Nations would be willing to shoot down satellites and put the entire world on the dark, Or Doom the world with Ravens, V2's, SOLG drops, that the people grow tired of it.
That's where GR comes in, absorbing Grunder and creating the Electrosphere, so not one country would hold superior information over the other, and starts the Corporate regime that we see in AC 3
Damn, I kinda want a Strangereal total conversion for HOI4
Most of them have failed sadly. I used to be really into hoi4 and the modding scene and they never made it that far from what I remember. Haven't been looking in a while though, maybe someone finally did it.
There's a mod called Project Ulysses which is basically HOI4 but in AC, it's still in the works but you should check it out if you're interested.
Thanks dude I just joined the Discord
Project Ulysess is still bieng worked on. Don't lose hope.

I really hope we get an ‘aggressor’ Ace Combat one day, where the mute, godlike fighter pilot is on the side of the quote ‘bad guys’
AC7 is one of my favourite games of recent times, and the AC series in general, and that is mostly because of the soundtrack and the background story.
Erusea has been through some serious trials and tribulations over the years.
Went from a monarchy to a fascist state to a monarchy again, in only about 10-20 years.
There’s gonna be quite a bit of fighting reminiscent of our world’s Yugoslavian Civil War for years.
YEEEEEEEEAAAAHHH MORE ACE COMBAT PLEASE CONTENT PLEASE.
Would love to see an armoury episode covering the various superweapons such as the arsenal bird and Glepnir

There's so many cool things to explore in the world of Ace Combat. And while there may not always be that much to go on in the games, I really hope yall explore this world further in the future.
Now you have to do Emmeria - Estovakia war, especially now how it reflects our world current events.

I think 'Yellow Squadron' and 'Sol Squadron' is one of the most memorable Ace in the Ace Combat lore. Despite those characters like Yellow13 and Mihaly were have such good background between them.
Oh Erusea. The enemy that was misunderstood during AC04.
We'll see if in Ace Combat 8 whether the Osean Federation will finally become the antagonist.

You play an Osean in AC7
@@Dagreatdudeman actually it has always been implied in almost all of the series that the OSEA was an antagonist given how they schemed and drove the situation that culminates into an actual war.

I want to play as either Erusean or Belkan fighting against Useans at least. Hopefully in AC8 or 9. And they don't even need to be in the right, I wouldn't mind being a bad guy winning for once.
Yellow Squadron's Aquila theme got stuck in my head for days.
From time to time I feel the need to listen to "Prevail" from the OST.
Absolutely love your channel and your approach to studying fictional lore! Have you guys ever considered covering any Gundam content? There is such a deep well of lore and I think it fits very well with your style of videos. Id love to see a faction profile on the Principality of Zeon of the Earth Federation. You could make arsenal Investigations on any of the literal thousands of mobile suit designs. Every mobile suit design has detailed lore and development histories. I think you guys can make a ton of great content from it!
I would LOVE to see the Templin institute cover Gundam. I know anime usually isn’t their thing, but Gundam lore is every bit as expansive and detailed as Star Trek and Star Wars, only more grounded in reality.
Would love them cover Cosmic Era. It has a global pandemic besides the global war that restructures Earth's borders and a Cold War sort of situation between Atlantic Federation (the USA of CE) and Eurasian Federation (the USSR of CE). Not sure if the pandemic in our world will usher the rise of genetic modifications to make us more resilient to diseases and faster, smarter and stronger and might cause a discrimination mankind hasn't seen in all of its history of existence.
@@Joshua_N-A That's another great aspect of Gundam, there are multiple universes to explore with so much awesome lore! I really feel its a perfect match for the Templin Institute.
@@solarsailor1534 Totally agree. We are talking nearly 50 years of lore here. I had someone explain to me once that Gundam is like Japan's Star Wars.
Mobius 1 and Trigger: "I'm about to end this whole man's career".
Templin Institute: "Erusea has known triumph and tragedy, first as a Kingdom, then as a Federal Republic, and now again as a Kingdom restored."
AC Vets: "Tragedy... it's just tragedy.."
Erusea Fans: "There is nothing new under the sun."
The real tragedy is them losing all the time and the royal family and common citizens not realizing that the military is always acting pretty sus.
Would you guys ever think of covering the new factions of the project wingman game? The Cascadian Independent Federation, the Pacific Federation, and the mercenary company Sicario?
Good idea!
how about no? im getting sick of every moron on this side of the internet "thirsting" for that self-titled "king's" co-pilot BROAD. same applies to Comic and that Oceanian mercenary turncoat.
I'd love an Ace Combat FPS
I wouldn't even care if it'd be basically a reskinned Battlefield 4
(Played Ace Combat 4, skipped all the other Ace games over the years, then got a ps4 and jumped into Ace Combat 7) Like the same war just part 2, from my perspective. (Very surprised, then happy to fight the old frenemy, then got ptsd from the first war)
Erusea is one of my most favorite countries in the AC world. They're like that world's Germany.. but with a constitutional monarchy and they're orange.
Well no, that world's Germany is Belka, Erusea is closer to France/Italy with such names as Cosette d'Elise and Farbanti
Belka is actually the Germany of their world. Erusea is more like France and Italy.
@@gabilax2745 I always thought of Belka as Austria not Germany. So Erusia getting an L and losing some of their land gives me a German vibe.
@@mill2712 With a Russian foreign policy. Complete with _insisting_ that those countries that broke off from it have no right to actually, you know, choose their own path in the world, and invading them over bullshit slights.
@@gre3nishsinx0Rgold4 you seriously need to step up your analytic skill.
The fact Erusea went from Federal Republic to Constitutional Monarchy in a Contemporary period and pulled it off convincingly absolutely fascinates me. It's such a fantastic story element more typical of something you'd see in, like... idk, Game of Thrones or something, yet it's presented in a (reasonably) grounded and real geopolitical setting _without_ being a joke or minor element. It's probably why I became a monarchist in the first place.
Given that Strangereal's future after 2020 already exists to some extent (Ace Combat 3 is set in 2040), there's at least one or two wars left there, methinks, before we hit the Usean Corporate Wars.

Good Morning troops!
I have an important announcement.
In one hour, each one of you will take part in the most important mission in our history- a mission that will result in the defeat of the vile enemy who has brought chaos to our continent.
Although we are from different nations, and of different races, we have fought, suffered and died together, fighting for what we believe in- fighting for freedom.
Today, we shall gather for our final battle, to liberate our beautiful continent and restore freedom to our people, our friends, and our family.
Our victory will herald the beginning of a new era of prosperity for the Usean continent.
Victory will be ours! We shall return peace to our people, and win back our freedom, and our future!
The skies belong to everyone!
Now, let us take back our "Shattered Skies"!
