Yes I feel doing it this way makes it so you can iterate on poses faster instead of trying to time and pose at the same time. Focus on poses first then time in out. Not at the same time.
Thanks for your videos. Please show the references. If this is meat and bones, then the reference is the recipe for it. I think a lot of young animators would rather try animating something like this without references if no reference is shown.
