Radahn proved more than a match for her and when she couldn't win by normal means, she unleashed scarlet rot. Even then you can't really consider it much of a win on her part seeing as yes, the rot drove radahn mad, but Malenia basically fainted after unleashing it and ended up having to be carried all the way to the Haligtree where she slept for an ungodly amount of time. It was very much a draw.

Malenia, right before nuking caelid and radahn, whispered to him "miquella awaits thee, o promised consort". So radahn probably made a deal with miquella and malenia to at one point become miquella's consort in exchange for something. Maybe the battle itself was what radahn wanted as he is a warlord and lives for the honor of battle and war. But it could also be that radahn was rebelling and that's why he fought with malenia so miquella might have charmed him afterwards. But short answer: he might be completely sane or completely under mind control, we don't know.

Placideusax did much better than I expected, especially given the absolute walloping he took during the first half of the fight. The five-headed dragon lord in his prime could have posed a real challenge.
His laser attack is absolutely insane against anything that isn't knocked to the floor by it, and it's honestly deserved given how undertuned some of his attacks are (the lightning blade slam)
so, this is the reason Radahn couldn't defeat Malenia. in the end, we're all in the same boat and we will never be able to surpass Geist if we stay like this.

Maybe the battle itself was what radahn wanted as he is a warlord and lives for the honor of battle and war. But it could also be that radahn was rebelling and that's why he fought with malenia so miquella might have charmed him afterwards. But short answer: he might be completely sane or completely under mind control, we don't know.

Placideusax did much better than I expected, especially given the absolute walloping he took during the first half of the fight. The five-headed dragon lord in his prime could have posed a real challenge.
His laser attack is absolutely insane against anything that isn't knocked to the floor by it, and it's honestly deserved given how undertuned some of his attacks are (the lightning blade slam)
