Cammy make sure to swap it off void- void gives bonus stability and aim assist. Which it has 100 in both already. Use solar for bonus airborne accuracy or arc for +25 range! They also updated i think to make it so it keeps whatever elements you were on when you die
EDIT: i was corrected about arc. It gives 25 handling and 5 range. Still very important to swap elements!

I used to run a ricochet build back in the day. I used Hardlight with Shinobu's Vow and skip grenades. It wasn't very good, but it was really fun!

Can you do a video on Tempest Strike? It feels crazy strong sometimes. Other times it's a self imposed stun and I get wrecked. I Need to learn to slide and send it another direction on controller.

Just wanna point out that cammy gets exatly ONE kill from his ricochet rounds in the first game, he couldn't even get a kill on the guy rhay was TETHERED AND MARKED with a flat wall beside him.

Is there a reason you play it with void? As in the damage of void itself on the weapon? You get no benefits. You have already 100 stability and aim assistance. Or is the use of void damage for the subclass so important to you?

Still think Hardlight has one of the highest ceilings available if someone was crazy enough to put in the hours with it. If you could have the skill to reliably go into every engagement by shooting and bouncing the ground between you and your opponent for extra damage, you'd have one hell of an advantage

I’ve been a hard light main for a couple years. However, I still haven’t gotten the catalyst to drop. I even played nothing but strikes for a week straight trying to get it.

@@ggonee ace is that way too. That’s because their catalysts are world drops, meaning they can just drop from doing anything. Hard light can only drop from defeating “powerful enemies” in vanguard activities (strikes). I’ve tried to get it, but it just seems like it won’t happen for me until Destiny is a dead game with retired servers. Comp is my main activity.

It definitely needs a refresher to the catalyst to make it useful again. Since there's no more match game, it's lost a lot of utility. Maybe add kinetic, stasis, and strand?
I miss the hardlight meta ngl. Easily my favorite "clearly broken for a season" weapon in its prime, and i still love it today.

Ngl, been using blast furnace and the thing just slaps, I been running it with shayuras and shayuras is weird. It shoots....TOO straight, to the point that its hard to tell its firing, does that make sense? Its like austringer. I find myself compensating for recoil that isnt there. Lol

Sounds like you'd need to adjust your muscle memory a bit to get yourself to stop over-compensating the recoil control with Shayura's and Austringer. My friend finds himself doing the same thing with very low recoil guns, it just takes more practice

I just want the actual exotic khvostov back. Fans of it in d1 liked it for its customizability, how you could tailor it to whatever you planned to do, or to the map you were playing on. There are so many new systems in d2 it could have taken advantage of: give it long press to swap fire modes and a choice of origin traits, lean into crafting with a huge selection of perks. Heck, they could have given it a few weird options like we had for weapons in "the craftening", like elemental perks (voltshot, slice, etc). The one we got is a decent enough exotic I guess, but its not khvostov.
