Finally decided to get my shit together and do this solo flawless on warlock a few days ago. Gotta say, the first boss is probably the most frustrating thing there. Second and third at least allow you to take a break and reload/restock, the first just throws you into the fray with barely a break in between. Prismatic did wonders for me with the crowd control there, which used to be the biggest hassle, and the arc souls can actually help shooting the eyes which is a pretty cool bonus. Prismatic, nova bomb, bleak watcher/devour with getaway artist and Lament makes for a very consistent setup. Put a Scatter Signal/Nox Perennial with controlled burst on the kinetic slot and you also have a decent backup for DPS if you run out of heavy.
Big W. You are totally right about first boss being the most frustrating. I think 85% of my runs were lost in the first boss alone. I personally would have ran hellion over bleak watcher but if it works it works. A setup I had thought about using was Song of Flame with Legend of Acrius for the first boss, dunno if u tried that but it really slaps.
@@zeff_d2 Hellion is very likely the better option, it's just that I forgot about it back then. Bleak Watcher has some merit because of the shatter from frozen enemies being able to clear a whole group, but it's generally less effective than Hellion which just straight up kills them. The Song of Flame and Acrius setup is one that I was aware of back when I tried, and it was actually going to be the build I was going to use if Lament underperformed. I do think the raw damage is superior with Acrius, but Lament's healing puts a little extra survivability on the damage phases which I find very welcome when aiming for that first flawless run.
What would you use on the 2nd slot instead of zaouli ? I dont have it cause no buddies to raid but i do have the heliocentric sidearm with heal clip and incandescent, thoughts ?
Doesnt sound terrible, since u are engaging close combat with this build. I am not kidding tho, you can literally use anything you want as long as it is not a scout, or high impact pulse or something long range
I'm a bit confused on what u are asking. If u mean if I keep the same fragments during swaps or during encounters, yes. The only changes are the super choices.
dragon's breath causes stagger to bosses, does amazing dmg over time, which makes it extremely ammo efficient since you will mainly be dumping special ammo while dragon's breath does damage over time

I haven't watched the video yet, just saw the comment but there's several ways to get melee back fast this season. 2 of which I believe come from the seasonal artifact in the final column. He also had Insurmountable Skullfort in the Thumbnail, which constantly gives you your melee back if you get a kill with it I believe. You can also synergize the Prismatic fragments to get your abilities back quicker, as well as spec-ing into Transcedance and getting that meter full asap to keep replenishing all your abilities. I would imagine Skullfort and the artifact are probably his main methods. Edit: yes, he's definitely hot swapping from the exotic class item to Skullfort.
