    from a concrete curing perspective, I would recommend a couple of things to try and compare against the current approach:
    Once you pour the molds, put the thing in a bag or provide some other way to keep it from drying.
    Try using water glass (sodium silicate) before you seal.
    Both should improve strength and wear qualities.
    Might not be worth the minor extra effort, but if there are any fragility or wear concerns I'd try them.
    Nice video!

    Love everything you make!! And also your videos. Thank you for sharing. I am trying to color my pots sage green. Any recommendations on direct color pigments I need to use to make that color. I know that everything dries lighter so I wasn't sure how to go about doing that. I'd like it to stay sage green not be real light. Thank you for any help you can give me.

      Thank you so much! I have two green colors from direct colors. Forest Green is more of a kelly green and will give you the light green color, not necessarily sage. I also have Olive Tree which is more olive. I would thing blending the two could give you more of a sage color.

      Thank you! I’m using cement-all. Flow control is an additive made by the same company that makes cement-all. It increases the fluidity of the mixture without having to add an excessive amount of water.

    How much an average time is to give a jar for curing after pouring it into the mould and how much time for curing after demoulding it ?

    I notice with these, if I’m not using an acrylic paint, the finished product is very shiny and smooth. I notice this with most of the Amazon molds. Is there something we can do to the molds to create the matte look we get from a Modern Craft mold? I hope that makes sense! I’ve tried solid colors but really dislike the shiny smooth look they leave.

    • @calafiacandleco

      That is very true. Unfortunately with these particular molds, I find I always has that shiny finish. I know there are some other suppliers that have oval tray molds. I’m not sure what the finish is like but might be worth checking out. I believe Canadian silicone molds has some…and maybe also Devon Dotting.

    • @calafiacandleco

      Thanks for watching! I usually will seal in 3 days. Like with the candle vessels, cure time will depend on weather conditions in your area.

    Hello Bree , Can you tell me that. the concrete jars affect the fragrance oil or not ? as compare in making candles in plastic or in tin jars ?

    • @calafiacandleco

      I do find the candle tends to burn cooler in the concrete vessels rather than glass or tin. That's part of the reason I really like using concrete vessels. They're safer in my opinion.

    • @calafiacandleco

      Sealing just helps to protect from scratches and wear and tear. I'm not sure..I've never used that before.

    HI. Can i use Titanium for making gray cement to white cement ?

    • @calafiacandleco

      Hi there. You certainly can add titanium dioxide to lighten the color. It may not be true white, but it will be whiter in color than the gray cement.
