Hello, when i connect my 1st generation apple pencil to the lightning port the ipad doesn't react, it doesn't tell me to pair the pen. But the pen is new, it's not broken, how do I fix it?
what ipad model? maybe try restarting the ipad, turn off-on bluetooth and then connect it to the port , does it show its charging when your connect to the port?

Hey, something weird happened with my apple pen. It connected fine, but then i wanted to use it, and it didn’t work. But then randomly, it was responding- just slowly- (yes, i did all the other steps) then it worked normal. The next time i restarted my ipad, it didn’t work. it says “connected” but doesn’t work. It also got to 0% idk for how long- i charged it back up- and it was the same as before-unresponsive (yes, it died after it stopped working.) i’m thinking it might be the tip, even thought you can only see a bit of the stuff under it. Should i contact apple support? Or just buy new tips?

trouble shooting pencil problem with the pencil. it is nonsense 😂
I’ve gone through so many methods to try and fix my pen but it just isn’t having it- I think it’s the battery inside the pen, honestly. It says 100% but I plug it in and it’ll say 0, then switch to 100 in 5 seconds, that percentage don’t seem to even change on the iPad itself- ugh. 🤧

@@cagltastemir6810 I ended up going to the Apple Store in the end. It’s something we need to keep an eye on, but try connecting it to a different device, then connect it back to the one you usually use it on. Appears to solve the issue… whether that’s a permanent fix I’m not sure yet ;-;

How do you used that Apple logo on your username. Also, nice pfp
You can use the Apple logo on by typing Option+Shift+K and it’ll print a logo out like this one
