- How to fix Apple Pencil not working, not charging, not connecting, not pairing on iPad. This fix should get your Apple Pencil that's not working or charging or pairing or connecting, working again in 20 minutes or less.

You are a godsend! This worked. I put it next to my space heater for about 3-4 min and I was able to connect. Sure enough the battery was 0. I haven’t used the pencil prior in months. You were spit on. Thank you!

Thank you so much!!! I hadn’t used my pencil for a few months and it wouldn’t charge. This actually brought it back to life! I used a heating pack you warm up in the microwave. Left the pencil on it for 20 minutes and it is now charging up!

This is my first ever youtube comment BUT BRO YOU'RE A GOD!!!! I had a lot of trouble with Apple Pencils ever since I got my first one and then after a long time of suffering I could finally use my current one for over 10 months without a problem. Then one day while drawing with it, my iPad suddenly shut down due to battery exhaustion and when I charged it and turned back on, my Apple Pencil stopped working. It was just like in your video. I contacted Apple Support, did everything they suggested but nothing worked. I started to lose hope and got really really frustrated. I bought an "untested" pencil in a pawn shop, I bargained it down to PLN 40 ($10), the seller agreed because he probably thought it was garbage. Of course, the Pencil turned out to be faulty. after your video, I wrapped it in a rag and put it in the air fryer for 5 minutes, 80 degrees Celsius. works perfectly :) thank you!

When i tell you i watched this and thought... There is no way thats for real. Well i just tried it (used a hairdryer on low heat and blast for about two minutes) and it worked. Strangest fix ive ever seen. Youve earned yourself a sub good sir, keep up the good work ❤

THANK YOUUUU!!! I heated up cooked rice for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds, put a paper towel over it then covered my Apple Pencil in the hot rice…. It worked!!!!!

BROOOO! I swear to god you saved my life so much, I was so stressed out about this issue, I thought that my pencil is broken and I don’t want to waste any money for it. Literally saved my life. What I did is i wrapped the Pen with a cloth and heat it using a hairdryer for a few minutes (don’t put it too close). It probably took me like 2-3 minutes and after that, I charged the pen and it suddenly works! Thank you very much! ❤

Thanks this works !! IMPORTANT TIP ! Make sure you disconnect (forget this device) from the device. I heated it 3 times before i saw he mentioned in the comments to disconnect !
It worked; I took a towel and microwaved it for 2 min then wrapped the pencil in the hot towel plugged it into the charger let it charge and it works thank you

I heard using a hair dryer or heat vent could work just make sure you don’t put the hit hair directly on it. Give the hair dryer and apple pen some space when blowing, for the heater put it next to it but keep an eye on how hot it gets.

says my pencil has less than 3% battery and disconnects or remains connected but once I remove it from iPad charging port, it disconnects I can't use the pencil for even one second. please give me a solution to fix it.

Lithium battery broken. No way of repair. Only way is to get a new one. This happened to me before

Ever since I got it my pencil wouldn't connect to my iPad without Lightblue, and even then it took 15-20 minutes to get it connected...
When I heat it a bunch it still doesn't work , so I may just count my losses and give in. I really appreciate your video for help! I'll definitely use this if my new one acts up. 😊

Hello. Been having exactly the same issues that you have encountered.
Did you get yours to come back to life and stay alive? Got mine back up to 100 percent but as soon as I removed it from the port, nada. Still nothing. Dead again.
Apple never made a big deal out of this when I spent over £100 quid on it a couple of years ago. i understand it only comes with a one year warranty but feel that at that price point, they should do better.

Great video! I did your method and it jump started the pen but it keeps flickering saying it is charging to different percents at each time. how long did you charge the pen afterwards and did it work straight away??
Mine worked straight away. It's worth letting it discharge to zero and then doing it again. you can also totally remove it from iPad bluetooth settings "Forget this device" and repair it.

THIS GUY IS A LIFE SAVER THANK U SO MUCH I WAS PANICKING CUZ IT SUDDENLY STOOPED WORKING!,,!,!!!!!,! Tip: if it doesn’t work try to forget device. I boiled water in a pan then put it on top of a folded rag with my pencil in it for about 6 minutes-- :D good luck
