I just hard reset the ipad and then turned off the Bluetooth and turned it back again and it worked

Well after a bit of google i found out that if you dont charge your apple pencil regularly its battery may die and the only option is to buy another one so i was scared but as i was fiddling around for possible ways i hard reseted the ipad but that didnt work (on its own probably) then i turned the Bluetooth off and then back on and it worked

Tried all the tips in this video and others, but nothing seemed to work. Then I followed your last step more precisely and that did work. Down volume one click, up volume one click, hold down the power button and keep holding it waiting for the screen to go blank and finally the apple to show up and then finally let go and that finally worked. Thank you.
I tried everything you mentioned & my pencil was still not connecting. After leaving my iPad on charge overnight I realised that my Pencil simply couldn’t charge/connect because my iPad battery was too low. This is something WORTH mentioning as no one else, even apple support itself- asks if the tablet has over %20 charge. Solution#2023 Charge iPad fully then check to see if your pencil can connect & charge.

Guys, if it dont work, its your iPad. The charging cable inside the iPad isnt connected to the magnet on the side. I had to refund my iPad for a new one and it works fine, the broken one was refurbished
When I attach my pencil to the magnet, an image of the apple pencil appears on the side of the screen. However, I can't get the tip to turn, the pencil doesn't show up in the bluetooth selection, and it doesn't show up as charging where the battery image is located(where it shows the battery charge life on the home screen when you scroll left). Any other suggestions?

Removing the case worked for me. The case seems to be too thick to recognize the pen but I also reset the ipad. Thanks for your video.

I just re start my iPad and turned it on again, BINGO!!! . Problem was displaying 2% of charge and unable to charge. When I’d restart it showed 100% right away. Thanks for this video.

I think the battery technology is currently not reliable, so was the e-vehicles. Hope the 3-party pencil with replacable battery come out.

Mine wasn’t working and I took it to Apple they said it was dead and out of warranty. I thought about the problem and decided to put it on a mophie charging pad, it charged it all the way up no now works again and charges again on my iPad Pro

Mine doesn’t even show up on bluetooth anymore. And I had it plugged in with the cord to charge it

I have done everything, yet the Ipad won't let it work on the top of the screen. I just got a new screen, but it's not working with the pencil (it works with my fingers, though)/ the pencil is at 100%

I went to apple about my pen, they said sometimes the battery is just fried with no way to connect it every again. If you have had more than a year it’s $100 but if under you can replace it for free.
Does this policy only apply to people who purchased directly from apple?

Put it on a charging pad. Mine is 3 years old Apple said it was done, i put it on a mophie charging pad and it works again and charges on my iPad Pro again

Try wrapping a heating pad around the Apple Pencil
I clicked on “forget this device” and couldn’t connect it back it just would show up on bluetooth even when I sticked it on the Ipad
I forgot the device and now it won’t show up under “other devices” anymore. Were you able to fix your problem??
@@elizabethgraszer2051 Exactly that happened. I did manage to fix it now it works well. I dont remember much but Ithink the only thing I did was just keep turning bluetooth on and off and then it realised I had an apple pencil.

@@vuduyen847 I went to the apple store and they replaced mine for free. There is a one year warranty on all apple pencils if you bought it with them

The only thing that worked was turning my iPad off with the pencil conected and turning it back on while the pencil was still conected. Everything else failed for me.

@@HoangNguyen-dq7toTry placing your pencil on the magnet part and restart your ipad. DON'T take off the pencil during the process.
Took me hours searching for a solution but thankfully I found a reddit post about this method and it worked for me.
