I just did a build with this case, and not only is the cable management insanely good, but the case with its stock fans is so quiet that I have to keep checking to make sure it's on. I expect that from my Noctua cooler, but the case fans? Truly impressive. Plus, it's so clean on the inside that it's basically a blank canvas for RGB enthusiasts--assuming you get the glass window version. I got the black SKU, and holy cow, does it enhance the personal universe of auroras I'd wanted from the start. I'm keeping this thing for as long as humanly possible. Of note: I have zero HDDs in the case, but even with the top and front panels removed, it's dead silent. Can't even hear my GPU fans. If not for the LEDs and monitor indicating that it's on, I would have no way of knowing.
Not sure if you guys cares but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can stream all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my brother recently =)
So quiet and great ventilation, I can't hear - that it is on, and added a Phanteks Halo ($7 USD) to See that it is on. That also added a fantastic - very sublime light casting on my XFX RX Video cards' silver cooling frame (backplate). No LEDs other than that, but may add a small bar of them on the bottom middle of the build area (maybe not) Love the way it looks with just a dash of light. I have bad hands and was able to build in it with so little problems, it was a dream. And it still looks awesome after all this time in the market. Well Done Phanteks!
Very good case review, I am actually rather surprised, because I thought I knew the level of all case reviewers on TH-cam. Consider me pleasantly taken aback. Subbed. Just one thing: While the physical overview is excellent, you are missing temperature measurements. Add these and this will be pretty much flawless.
@@yashmehta7435 owning one atm and i have to say it does NOT dissapoint! it has airflow, insane watercooling and air cooling capacities and the vertical gpu width is 3 slot with a gap in front.. its an amazing case!!! im keeping this until the case starts to rust lol
Unbelievable! The same happened to me. I haven't decided yet but after an extended research of pc cases, these 2 are my final choices. This is the finale! But I think that the P600S beats the Meshify 2 in noise dampening. I am still doing research and watching reviews.
I'm looking already for cases that I will buy in February at bonus time due to all the NVIDIA and AMD hype, and I'm pretty positive I will get this one. It's a lot bigger and sleeker than the Lian Li Lancool Mesh II case, even though it's double the price. The cable management and space sold me
Damnnn! What a review. Subscribed! Amazing in depth detail. I was stuck on this or the cheaper 350 model but I think I'll go for this. Might of finally decided on a case! Thank you.
I just picked up the non-glass version for 120 USD for a future build when the Zen 3 and Ampere come out this Fall ..... I never was a big fan of glass and RGB lighting and would rather the money go else where and I really like the idea of silent for normal use and opening up the front panel for gaming for when I actually need the extra air flow ..... I've long been a function over form guy and this case checks off all the boxes
10:05 Third front fan prevents backflow though otherwise empty front panel space. while providing more balanced internal air pressure when using two exhaust fans in the top.
This seems to be the case for my new build that is being undertaken with MS Flight Simulator in mind. Fortunately, the prices may have come down a little since the video was made. I want a white case, and I'm now able to order that for US$140 (£114). Thanks for the great review; I was in a bit of a quandary about whether to choose this Phanteks case or the NZXT H510i, and your review has been of significant help in making that decision.
I was wanting to get a Coolermaster H500P or H500M but they cost $200+ and didn't seem as feature rich or as high quality as the P600s. The airflow is not as good but close and it has the option of made quiet, modern front IO, lots of mechanical storage for 4K Plex media. Custom PC builder since 2003 and first enthusiast case I've invested in. I usually buy sub-$100 cases due to being on a budget.
@@Chadowgon5 I went with white. My ol lady has it in gray and my friend has it in black, I am still partial to the white myself but it does look good in gray
Thanks - Great review - and subscribed! Is it somehow possible to fit a 420rad with fans at the front and also 4x3.5" HDDs in the bottom compartment? Like maybe by putting the rad or the fans into the front panel?
so quick question I have a great mini itx build as well but I have a raided 32tb hd is there a way I can make the atx build and the mini itx build use those hard drives?
im getting this case with dark rock pro 4 cpu cooler and i have a 1070 geforce gtx founders edition which ima respray it to white or black to match the case
Thanks for the review. Very good. Just a question - would a DVD player fit into the front of this? It looks like it might not fit with the mesh, although perhaps this depends whether you have two or three fan unit in the front? cheers.
No, the case is not designed for a built-in optical drive. I bought a Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD 4K USB Blu-ray player and it works just fine with mine running openSUSE Linux, although I don't think there is any 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray support for AMD Ryzen processors. The USB Blu-ray player sits on top. It's not inexpensive, but it gets the job done.
the vertical pci brackets made me think, you could actually build a 2 in 1 pc, itx at the bottom laying flat, then an mATX board mounted normally.. if there is enough space
Great review! I was planning to get this case. Could you tell me if the top panel still allows airflow if you pop the magnetic lid on (I plan to install the H100i Pro AIO there)?
Pham Not really, airflow with the top magnetic piece is not great if you are installing the rad up top, just take it off, it doesn’t get dusty but you should clean the material at least once every two months.
Yeah, those big gaps on front panel (on its sides) are completly infiltered, thats the reason of often filter celaring, that hamering down the front panel to access that dust filter and breaking the clips that holds that front panel. No thanks. It was 2019 when it came out, since 2014 lot of cases had easy accessible dust filters on front (push to open, doors, etc.) and here we need to pull of whole panel to access filter.
White - no question about it. In fact the unavailability of a white model for the Evolv X makes me lean toward this instead - if it can take a 420rad and 4x3.5" HDDs in the bottom compartment (hint at my question) :D
I dont have this particular case but here is my 2 cents: This is a great case for a beginner! It is large enough to allow great airflow without much stress on maximizing fan efficiency, configuring push/pull, or worrying about space. The size also makes cable management a breeze. This case, as explained in the video, comes with additional goodies to make the building process so much simpler - the box of screws are great, the vertical mount is not needed for a beginner but may come in handy down the line. It is also sure to fit components you decide to throw at it. My advice is to go with a bigger case for beginner builds and than move to smaller cases later with experience. Its a heavy case, especially with components, so beware of that. Good luck!
Fantastic case but the plastic cable hiders are just the worst, they will not be aligned because of the different widths of the cables, they will leave gaps so you can see through the holes to the back and a straight edge simply cant hide a round cable. I hope they go back to rubber ports like all the rest.
I disagree. The Evlov X dual system is actually the best of both worlds.... All worlds. I am currently eyeing it and will end up buying one after Zen 2 launch.

How much did corsair pay you to type this? Corsair has 1-2 cases at BEST in both the CPU/GPU top 25 lists and noise top lists while fractal/lian li and phanteks are dominating and for a reason because they use less shitty materials unlike corsair lol

Dont mount a vertical gpu with included items as it pushes the card right onto the side glass, use Cable Mod Kit if possible for great airflow

I guess the point to adding a third intake fan at the bottom of the front panel would be to provide cooling for the HDDs mounted in the PSU shroud?
