  • @feedingfrenzy4961
    @feedingfrenzy4961 ปีที่แล้ว +38

    I messed around with the position with an engine, and it's even more impressive. Bf8 is actually met with Rb1 which attacks the queen. After the queen dodges, white plays Nd4 with a discovered attack on the black rook which is trapped. The Nd4 move also prevents black from playing Bf5 to attack white's rook.

      @@bhargavsai8014 the first few people who started this probably are a bit racist ... then as more and more people started following suit, it became a normal thing ... from what I saw on reddit, alot of them apparently think that's just what people say to cheer him on in the WCC tournament, completely oblivious to what it's originally referencing. Of course there are a lot of people who know or eventually found out what it's referencing, but choose to say it anyway, because they think it's funny and they have a good excuse to do so. "Well he's just chilling"... "He chills alot in the restroom".."stop being sensitive"

    I am going to go out on a limb and pick Ding to win - the longer the games go, the more games they have to play to determine the winner - i see the advantage for Ding - why? - because Nepo is in such terrible physical shape that i do not believe he has the endurance. After 5 straight draws, Magnus beat Nepo in an 8 hour match which physically and mentally depleted Nepo, he then fell apart and was awful in the remaining games and Magnus destroyed him to win the championship. Also, of the two Ding is more compelling in his shy way, while Nepo is devoid of personality, thus Ding would be far more embraced by the public and social media as Champion.

      Basically he ends up ahead in material.
      My noob analysis: Sacrificing the queen lets Ding take pieces with the knight, nearly equalizing the material. He then skewers the queen and bishop with Rb1. Grischuk tries to attack the knight with Qc3, but he realizes it's futile when Ding plays Rc1 to cover, so he resigns. If Grischuk let it play out, his queen would have to move out of the way and Ding would take his bishop, giving Ding a 2 point lead in material. Additionally Ding would have his bishop and rook pairs intact in a better position.

    If you see ding's smug face its time to resign. You lost.

    Not displaying the Russian flag to support humanity is so absurd. Where are these so-called wisemen hidden when it comes to money laundering in the name of charity.

      It was unnecessary? It was the best move wtf. Do u even play chess? These are 2700++ players. If you wanna play a simple 1200 game, no one's gonna stop you smh..

      @@mubaraksenju7521 i dont remember why i said that, but i log games of GMs in engines and see possiblities it helps me learn, as i reemember he still in better position with a queen exchange, you are just a fanboy who idolizes people, chess opinions are for everyone, even lower rated like me whos 1200 can have a say, its like football (soccer), fans can critizise professional footballers of their favorite team and its okay to do so, and sometimes rightfuly so, nobody is 100% perfect even proffesionals. Sure i will never be as good as him, but with a help of an engine and some time analyising games and going back and forth with it, you can see where they went wrong or right.
