    kramnik doesn't realize he's getting old and he claims that his opponents are cheating just because he doesn't see their moves. this is a crystal clear indicator that kramnik's mind and the chess mental benefits are giving up on him due to age. chess has also evolved a lot more due to engines and as a result many more moves, opening tricks and overall tactics were discovered. his calculation speed and precision were clearly worse than the young FM's. I don't want to be that guy but even though he has a gm title, kramnik is not a gm in today's chess.

    • @thewingedone1172
      @thewingedone1172 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +24

      I am big on clowning Kramniks delusion but to claim he is not GM level is absolutely out of touch. He is better than most GMs, he will crush easily at least half of gm population over the board and give a hard time to most of the other half. He is not nearly old enough to doompost him like this, he was still good enough to hit his peak elo in late 2010s inflation era and not his prime.

    • @Aerixes.
      @Aerixes. 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@thewingedone1172 you're saying he is not that old but to me kramnik saying that others are cheating is part of his denial and acknowledgment of his age and he knows that these kids have very impressive calculation speeds and critical thinking abilities. And i kinda get why he says they're cheating. it's not a good look to be beaten by a kid who doesn't even have HALF of your experience in chess and it certainly doesn't feel good to be beaten by a kid. he's using the fact that there is a lot of people nowadays using engines to cheat and so he uses that as a form of excuse for his losses against these adapting monsters, he uses this excuse in a lot of games especially since there are a lot of impressive youngsters out there. I know it's a while back but take a look at kasparov's face when he was going against young magnus. i mean he just couldn't believe that the game was going towards a draw.

    Kramnik is hurting his already shaky legacy.
    Although he's the guy who beat Kasparov, he became more well known for (1) being a very drawish/boring player, (2) being bad at matches and tourneys, and (3) fading out of the limelight.
    Vishy-- who was the 3rd wheel behind Kasparov and Kramnik for many years-- eventually eclipsed Kramnik in every way possible and single-handedly inspired a new generation of Indian chess prodigies.
    And, of course, then came Magnus.
    Does Kramnik really want to add "the guy who accuses people of cheating without good evidence" to his resume? Stop it man. Stop.

As a result, Kramnik became the first undisputed World Champion, holding both the FIDE and Classical titles, since Kasparov split from FIDE in 1993."

Instead he spend precious seconds to find another move than is much harder to see and is equaly winning.
