Chris is a standup dude. He has raised millions and millions of dollars for charity (including some of my charities). Last weekend at 6am he was loading a box truck with toys for angel tree kids. He may be a bit energetic and jittery, but it’s intimidating when that little camera is in your face. On top his charitable giving, he’s manages a multiple states worth of liquor stores for Kroger and does a ton of bourbon education in the community. 23:59
As someone that’s in corporate sales, I appreciate Chris’ energy. He’s the buyer for the product he’s showing off and he’s proud of it; I share that same energy when I speak about my product. Not sure he’s on uppers like others have suggested (lol), but you need to have some energy when you’re in sales that’s for sure
Retail buyers like Chris need to have a lot of energy like that. Bottom line they are salespeople under a lot of pressure to make good picks that people want to buy
If you watch the first part of this video in 2x speed, “Chris”, from “Chris’s picks, he reminds me of Jessie Pickman hopped out on Meth trying to over sell whiskey 😂. All jokes aside, another solid video Brewzle, keep up the work!

Small saying in my family, never get a philly cheese steak in Philly. Bourbon in Kentucky has to be a massive mind numbing experience trying to find the real gems with all of the "We are the real deal only because we are made here" bottom shelf hog water that should be only $5, they selling for $60 because "this is the real deal right here in kentucky". Thankfully you're more than well versed.
Fresh Bourbon is solid and absolutely different from other blends…it’s a unique mash bill and their higher proof can only be obtained at their distillery in Lexington. It’s produced old prohibition style and retains a lot of flavor. Solid in my book, different taste, long lingering on the pallet.
I do inventory for all the Kroger wine and spirits in Kentucky and this is my definite favorite store to count! The guys are super chill in there and it’s an outstanding store for a Kroger wine and spirits. I get to see what’s under the counters and if they ever have anything special. I do every store in Louisville and Lexington at least twice a year! I’ll keep an eye out for ya on bottles for sure.
I haven't drunk bourbon for years (and it was always Jack Daniel's), but I was in a pub in London last night and the barman recommended a Four Roses small batch bottle. I sipped it in your honour and it was delicious.
A lot of folks sleep on the Babe Ruth Remus because of the "gimmick," but its actually some very nice high rye bourbon out of MGP. Had it side by side with the Gatsby and it help up pretty well.

Being in the heart of bourbon.. i think i shall build up a better selection of bottles to select from. Kentucky Rocks! 😂🎉 got to get my bottle game up!
Even though it’s sourced and a blend, you should grab a bottle of the 4 branches. I saw it on the shelf at the seven store, but I thought it was actually pretty darn good.
Great video. I’m not too far from Seven Spirits and Wine and it actually made my day seeing a ginger liqueur from St. Louis, Mo on their shelf. I know it’s not bourbon but seeing it get distributed to outside of Missouri is cool.
