The $10 dollar game collection is growing so much! I would say my favorite soprts game when I was a kid was Super High Impact on the SNES my favorite part of this Football game was the Fights! Lol! Crazy but true! Love all of your videos, keep it up! God bless!
Nhl 94 was by far my favorite game growing up! Those wraparound goals and glass shattering slap shots kept me hooked for hours! Just signed up to be a patreon and cant wait to read about your resale tips! Thanks for the great content Rick!
So glad you made a patreon and awesome benefits too. You produce amazing content every time man. Favorite sport game growing up would have to be blitz as well! I still play with friends every time we hit up the arcades - never gets old!
Baseball Stars for the NES is one of my favorite sports games. It was one of the first games I played where you could create and upgrade players, kinda had an RPG feel to it almost.
Favorite Sports Game: NBA Showtime for N64 mostly because of the nostalgia. I remember getting together at Thanksgiving with cousins and playing that game all day. Fun times for sure.
I wasn’t big into sports titles growing up, but when I played NBA Jam on my SNES for the first time, that was my favorite for sure. Maybe Backyard Baseball on PC is close second. Watching your video today, I saw all those gems on VHS. I recently went to my local Goodwill that reopened last week and was super bummed that they don’t have VHS tapes anymore. Hopefully just a temporary rearrangement while they make more space for social distancing shopping. Looks like I’ll have to hit up more garage sales for now.
This is one of my favourite series that you have put out, always makes my day when you post another one of these videos! Love to see the steals and deals you get! Great video my guy 👌🏻 Been an inspiration for me to start hunting for retro consoles and games, managed to make a fat score ages ago on Nintendo 64 snes sega mega drive and master system 2 with heaps of games for $450, I have refurbished 3 consoles and got them working, apart from the sega master system 2, I’ve made $620 gross from this deal, so Im pretty happy with it so far and still have the consoles to sell! Edit: My favourite game on the PS2 was Simpson’s Hit & Run 👌🏻 Might have to join the patreon just for the list of DVDs I NEED THAT KNOWLEDGE 😂😂 That 3 game sega Saturn thing goes for $40-$50 this was an awesome score just for $40 🔥🔥
Superb find man! Wow!! Everything appears to be in really nice condition too. I briefly owned a Sega Saturn back around 2012 or so. It's an underrated console for sure.
I always play World Cup on the NES if I play sports games or does Mutant League count :'D Awesome benefits in this Patreon buddy! Insane haul can't believe she still had it after 8 months I've always wanted to add a Saturn to the collection.
Very impressive and dirt cheap score Rick!! Holy smokes!! You are a fantastic teacher!! Gran Turismo 1 is my favorite racing game, best car mods and soundtrack. And for my sports game, would definitely be Mario Golf on NES ☺. Thanks again for sharing.
That is an amazing haul because of how you can just sell the yellow gameboy color and add a free sega Saturn to the collection if you don't already have one and some great games to play on it! Also I don't know if it would count but I would say my favorite sports game is the burnout racing games!
Fave PS2 racing game - NFS Underground 2 Fave sports game - TH's Pro Skater 2 Great video and great find! I still haven't started yet with all the craziness, but I asked my family if they had any games they didn't want. My mom found my old Gameboy color, NES, PS1, and PS2 and my cousins gave me their old N64(with DK,Mario 64, MarioKart, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, and Pokemon Stadium) and GameCube. Zero money spent and I just started my collection with 5 systems and a handheld lol
I really liked how you addressed how you're moving this series on at the start of the video. It can be very, very tough to sell off what you "should" keep but you push home that point of keeping a good flow going to be able to continue. I totally need to ride along with you though--dude, our Goodwill has somebody pricing the games they get in off of online prices! They're crazy and they're driving ME crazy!!!! lol Hmmm...I don't think I really played any PS2 racers actually--but our buddy BK LOVES racing games. He's got a nice wheel and pedal setup too. Oooh, Mario clamshell tape--very cool! That $40 box--nice, nice score man!! Favorite sports game I grew up on? I really didn't play them. I don't know if it will count, but I guess maybe Super Dodgeball on NES? lol Hey, I think we've got that PS2 blue controller--if so, I guarantee it was for Lady Laci as she just loves her colorized controllers.
For sure...its hard to explain but it works on paper once you get the ball rolling...i hope it makes sense at the end of all this! Your goodwill employees need to chill with that pricing man! Come down any time...let go hunt!
Oo good choice. I never think of them as sports games for some reason, the best part was the soundtracks for me, but they were fun games too. I was terrible at them lol
As someone who collects, owns over 2,000 movies, and buys DVDs/VHS for resale, there are two things I can tell you: 1. You're already 100% on the right track looking for titles you've never heard of before. 2. The reason for that is because they are rare. Many, many movies only ever got released on VHS (remember Masterminds with Patrick Stewart from the 90's or Josh and S.A.M.? Only ever got VHS releases). Even if they got a VHS and DVD release, there are also a lot of movies that never got released on blu-ray or in high definition AT ALL, and they've been out of print and unavailable for 10, 15, 20, 25, maybe even 30 years in some cases. If it hasn't been sold anywhere on the open market for more than 20 years and that's the only way to get it? There's always a fan somewhere who really wants it but has never been able to find it. Always.
I played the crap out of 1080 snowboarding back in the day. The only sports game I can remember playing before that would be arch rivals on the NES. Thanks for the video as always! Great haul!
NBA Jam was incredible when it got ported to the Genesis. But since I’m a little more old school, I grew up playing the heck out of Tecmo Bowl as a kid in the late 80s/early 90s. Also, I’d throw in Mike Tyson’s punch out as another fantastic sports game on the NES.
I would have to say tigers woods golf 05! I loved it when my avatar started to break dance to a dmx or outcast song on the green after getting a birdie! 😆
Oh man, a fav sports game is so hard to choose. I had a few on the genesis I played a lot like the original world series baseball, or NHL 96 which was great but I would have to go with one of the NBA Jams, probably TE because of the expanded rosters and more to the game but I would still play either today haha. That was just fun even if you weren't a big fan of basketball and you can still go back to it today.
NBA Jam! Was definitely my thing hands down played that on snow days religiously on the Sega Genesis! Super excited for the arcade cabinet to come out!!!! Would you ever get a 1 up arcade?
Dude! Nice finds!! My favorite sports game growing is right along the lines of yours. I loved playing NFL Blitz for the N64 with my brother. He would get so heated if he was losing and to add insult to injury, I would always do one of those smash hits on him when the ball was already dead. So funny!
Truly great score. Sega Saturn seems so much more common in America, I only know one person growing up who had one, never seen one for sale unless it’s eBay. Love from The UK!
You know what’s crazy I picked up today a N64 with 3 controllers and when I got there the guy gave me 4 games for free Mario kart, smash bro, Mario tenis and xena the warrio princess all for 30$ insane find for me.
God I had super car street challenge as a kid! It was probably one of the last PS2 games I ever bought back then. It was never my favorite, but it was such a little known game I'd buy it again. I think i sold my PS2 collection. I thought I didn't, but i guess I did in a moment of weakness. Still regret it. Favorite has to be Cars. I had it for the PS2, and I was surprised to enjoy it. Nice open world end of it. Hidden gem in my book, though I'd get it for the gamecube.
I was never really into sports games, but if I had to pick one as a favorite it would be NHL Hitz 2003. I loved being able to change the heads of the players into different crazy things, like sharks or zombies, and the themed stadiums were awesome.
I'm not a huge sports person in general, but i love arcade style golf games. I have over 100 hours in mario golf world tour for 3ds. It's one of my most played games of all time. Easy to pick up and learn quickly, sometimes i feel like the putting is a little janky, but that makes you want to get chip-ins way more😂
Favourite sports game for me was Fifa World Cup France 98 for the PS1. Loved football (soccer) as a kid. I remember my grandad went to one of the games in France and brought me back a program book, so cool 😊😊😊
The Tony Hawk Series was my favorite sports series. With probably Tony Hawk 2 on N64 being my favorite growing up. Once I was in College I alternated between the Tony Hawk Games and the NCAA football games on the original Xbox. I remember picking up an OG xbox just to play EA sports NCAA Football in the college apartments with the guys. Good times. Also a shout out to Mario Golf on N64, we spent way too much time during our exam week that one year playing that game to completion when we should have been studying. 🙄
@@retrorick I have the Collector's edition preordered from Gamestop. Went against the cheapskate in me...but I wasn't sure how limited it would end up being and wanted to get the Deck.
The NCAA Football games were my favorite growing up. I dusted off try old Xbox recently and have been playing the 07 version so I’d say that is my favorite of them.
I thought about doing the $10 game collection on my channel right before corona hit. I found Def Jam Fight For New York at Goodwill but I just couldn’t let it go! The value was around $80 a few months ago and now it’s going for around $150.
My favorite racing game was either smuggler's run, Midnight Club, or Need for Speed Underground. All of those are up there in my favorites racing games ever.
Awesome rick I seriously wish I could get my hands on a Saturn in the wild like that great console. My favorite sports game was “The Majors Pro Baseball” on the Sega Game Gear and till this day i still have a great time playing it too, really fun.
Retro Rick like I know there’s always the “EBay” route🤦🏻♂️ but I like having my arms and legs haha 😂 it’s too easy and too expensive, its a last resort option but if I can definitely try my chances with flea markets, garage sales or whatever it’s the thrill and excitement of just maybe finding one one day at a great price is what I’m hoping for😆👌🏼
There was this baseball game on the NES where one team just absolutely always dominated. My brothers and I would always get in arguments who gets to play that team, eventually we decided no one picks that team
Absolutely love these videos watching all this series from the beginning! My favorite sports game is probably wii sports lots of childhood memories for me there.
Nba live was my favorite sports game growing up, specifically nba live 10. As for non realistic sport games, Mario super sluggers is fantastic and I’m still hoping Nintendo makes another one of those
I was never really big fan of the PS2 racing games but they did play quite a bit of the Need for Speed games with some of my friends that were into them.
My fav sports game has to be nba jam for the genesis. I was in a touring band with some of my closest childhood buddies, we grew up playing this and music together. So many great memories!!
Blades of Steel, I think it's the only sports game I ever liked of the 3 I've played🤣 . Mostly because I am really bad at those games. Nice find! That GB was really clean! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos!
The other day I got a decent ds/gba lot. White ds lite with like 6 good titles for ds, and some decent gba games like maybe 10 for $120 total. I was really after a couple games in the lot, so I will probably pawn what I don't want. I was definitely wanting Spirit Tracks, and a couple gba titles seem decent haven't played them yet, but the couple ds that I have tested worked perfectly.
NES arch rivals. I know I know how could it not be NBA jam. That’s my second choice. But arch rivals was a blast. Running, punching and shoot like a house a fire. Just a fun game with lots of good memories.
John Elway Quarterback baby! Bases Loaded was played a ton too but my older brothers always picked the Phillies since they had the best pitchers and kicked my butt.
Super Baseball 2020 on the sega genesis. Back in 2008 , my cousin and I plan on playing it in 2020. It’s 2020 and I’m sensing an epic ballgame on Thanksgiving week.

Phatboy Video games was a local shop where I live, IN KINSTON, NC!!! Amazing that a game from there made it to your local goodwill!
Nice job with the Saturn! Everyone wants and arm and a leg around here for that stuff. Literally! Like they won't even take cash!

Retro Rick like I know there’s always the “EBay” route🤦🏻♂️ but I like having my arms and legs haha 😂 it’s too easy and too expensive, its a last resort option but if I can definitely try my chances with flea markets, garage sales or whatever it’s the thrill and excitement of just maybe finding one one day at a great price is what I’m hoping for😆👌🏼
@@shawny1888 oh i completely agree...nothing like the thrill of the hunt!
Retro Rick hey rick did you catch the announcement of the “sega game gear micro”??
NBA Jan is the greatest sports game of all time. No contest..
Wrong...NBA Jam TOURNAMENT EDITION is the best sports game of all time
Retro Rick 💯 agree! So much time spent balling with my older brother on that game!
@@bediahjonesberg One of the best for sure!
@@andrewblumenthal6611 heck yes...its still so fun
My favorite sport game was NBA jam..never gets old hearing "HE'S ON FIRE"
There was this baseball game on the NES where one team just absolutely always dominated. My brothers and I would always get in arguments who gets to play that team, eventually we decided no one picks that team
Absolutely love these videos watching all this series from the beginning! My favorite sports game is probably wii sports lots of childhood memories for me there.
Nba live was my favorite sports game growing up, specifically nba live 10. As for non realistic sport games, Mario super sluggers is fantastic and I’m still hoping Nintendo makes another one of those
very nice! i played alot of nba live 97 specifically for some reason 😂
My favorite sports game growing up was Blades of Steel for the NES. Gloves off action!
Backyard football is definitely my favorite growing up
You mention patreon and put woods face up haha perfect! Used to really love wood but ykno
haha hes all about that switch life no....RETRO GAMING 4lyfe!
@@retrorick yea I lost all respect😂
I was never really big fan of the PS2 racing games but they did play quite a bit of the Need for Speed games with some of my friends that were into them.
Need For Speed Underground 2 is the best racer on PS2, fight me. Nice pickup Rick!
Dude..i love the NFS Underground games! Thank tatted 👊
Hope your staying safe😀
For sure, you as well!
Thx
Bases Loaded on my original Gameboy. So simplistic, so much fun
My favorite sports game was either NBA jam or tecmo Superbowl. Absolute musts for sleepovers.
Dude for sure...i still love both of those games!
Fav sports game for me was NBA Jam Tournament Edition! Played it for hours on end. That or Mario Kart if it counts lol
Heck yes! NBA Jam TE was the superior game...hands down!
Just a fun game with lots of good memories.
haha i remember playing that...it was fun..and pretty cheap to pick up!
John Elway Quarterback baby! Bases Loaded was played a ton too but my older brothers always picked the Phillies since they had the best pitchers and kicked my butt.
Home run.. great haul... love it!!
Test Drive is my favorite PS2 racing game! It has a wicked soundtrack! My favorite sports game was THPS 2.
Super Baseball 2020 on the sega genesis. Back in 2008 , my cousin and I plan on playing it in 2020. It’s 2020 and I’m sensing an epic ballgame on Thanksgiving week.
These videos are so fun to watch man!
