I've traveling to Peru starting in the mid 1990's. The entire country is filled with mystery and unexpected buildings from centuries back. There are many civilizations that exist under the canopy of the jungle, overgrown or eroded for the most part. The people of Peru's jungles are amazing and as you get to know them you can find hints of their connections to their ancestors. It is a country well worth visiting. Leave your reality at home and experience theirs. Close your laptop, get into the real world, then you will understand the sadness of rainforest destruction.

I am truly fascinated by this kind of stuff. I lived in the Kansai Japan for 14 years. The area is dotted with ancient tombs called kofun. They are all over Japan but because of it's historical importance, Kansai has a lot of them. There's one in Sakai, Osaka (the Daisen Kofun) that's also one of the largest structures in the world. They are made of stone, many in the shape of a giant keyhole with a moat. Because people haven't been allowed on them for 1500+ years they accumulated dirt and now look like hills covered in trees. You can still see the ancient stonework if you look at the base near the water-line of the moats. I've even seen the actual tomb of Queen Himiko (of Tomb Raider fame) in Sakurai, Nara. It's not as big as some, but impressive all the same. Legend has it that 1000 of her retainers were buried with her. I had a friend who worked for the Nara National Museum that helped with restoration work on the Takamatsuzuka Kofun in Asuka, Nara (note 3 names of major periods of Japanese history in that sentence). That whole area is full of history and ancient folklore. The remains of ancient capitols, temples and shrines are really concentrated in the area. I hiked up to the ruins of a mountain castle (Takatori-jo) that looks like stepping into an Indiana Jones movie, hiked on old roads through the forests and countryside, and even saw some old ninja enclaves in Iga and Yagyu.
In Xi'an China is the tomb of the first Qin emperor (who commissioned the Great Wall). It's where the famous terracotta army comes from. The mountain-like tomb itself is massive, unexcavated, and is said to contain a massive relief map of his empire complete with bodies of water made of mercury. Ironic considering mercury probably played a big roll in his demise (he drank it as a tonic).
Europe is dotted with neolithic sites, many of those being burial mounds. I've been to Newgrange and nearby Knowth and Dowth. They were ancient when the pyramids of Egypt were brand new. There's one in Britain that's so old that archaeologists found a skull inside with a stalagmite growing around it. I can't remember the name or exact location of that one. Maybe someone else who reads this will know.
Videos like this remind me that there are sooo many more places I want to go to, see, and experience for myself and provides me with more motivation to do so. Trouble is, I'd have to live as long as some of these places are old to see enough.

    • @burtpanzer

25:37 Simple answer: They were “hauled up” BEFORE the sand was added! Likely it was lifted and mounted then the same ropes used to get the coffin up were used to raise buckets of sand to whomever was in charge of making sure it was mounted properly. They dumped the sand in and sent the empty bucket back down for more until they were satisfied with the amount.

In Colorado there are still a few places where the mine equipment placed on the sheer walls of the mountain cliffs a 130 years ago, is still in place. They would build out wooden terraces inorder to mine the gold and silver veins directly. Most of the mines don't show any sign they exist from the outside and nobody has been inside them for over 100 years. Literally a goldmine of history waiting to be found.

Cheyenne Mountain has an interesting side aspect while I was stationed below it at Ft. Carson, Colo. On an adjacent peak there used to be a high class resort hotel. A few army buddies and myself climbed that mountain [sometimes used the road]. and finding ourselves at the top with nightfall coming on ... we were accommodated by the staff for the evening. Lesson learned: Never climb mountains without proper equipment and certainly NOT wearing combat boots of the period. I got stuck on a rock outcrop and just about fell. Prayer is a wonderful thing. It always gets listened to.

I have worked inside NORAD. It has two LAKES underground. One filled with fresh spring water, and another filled with diesel fuel.
The one with the diesel fuel has a giant door on it to keep in the fumes.
The fresh water lake has a dock with a little rowboat. (shown at 14:30)
I installed a bunch of those springs shown at 13:56 as part of an upgrade to the facility in about 1983-84
They claimed the main doors (similar to the one shown at 14:23) were strong enough to cut a tractor trailer in half if it blocks the door.
I don't think that the one shown is one of the two "Main doors" that are big enough to drive full size truck through.

    My pillow hold my tears
My mirror never laughs when I'm crying
    My mind keeps secrets
    My bed holds me
scared to die, but tired of breathing
Honestly at this point I listen to things like this while laying in bed and thinking about things like the fact
that all the people who claim to be my friends are never there for me and how my own family doesn’t seem to care
about me and how I can’t even find love no matter what I do and I can’t even cry when I listen to this it’s like if
I’m just an empty shell with nothing left inside
“Life isn’t fun without a struggle in it, but some struggles lead to tragic endings.”
Whats funny is that I act all happy around my friends and at night I just break down.. I miss the old days, I didn't fake smiles..
How come parent knows when their kid is lying but not know about their own child’s anxiety and depression
“Dont cry because they are gone, smile because they were here.”
It's funny how strangers online that we meet understands us than our parents...
"It takes one minute to have a crush on someone, one hour to like someone and it takes a day to love someone but....it takes a lifetime to forget someone..."
"The saddest things is when the person who gives you the best memories becomes a memory"
"Don't cry because it end, Smile because it happens"
"Lonely is not being alone, its the feeling that no one cares"
"The people with the biggest smiles are hiding the most pain behind them"
"You don't want to end your life. You just want to get rid of the pain inside you."
"Why are you always so quiet?"
"Because no one is ever listening to me anyway."
When someone who makes you feel better good and happy passes away far from you and all you have good memories that the only thing you have
"You're fading away, and it's all their fault."
"There are moment when I wish I could roll back the clock and take away all the sadness away ,But I have the feeling that if I did , The joy would be gone as well " .
    "Now I don't cry out loud , I just suffer in silence . "
You had only seen my smile , you never know how much pain I'm carrying inside the smile :)
"When you love them you need to let them GO"

    Laugh is a cover
    Sleep is an escape

A few people from the Philippines and Azerbaijan agree and believe the name/word Izekio means "No entry". Could it possibly be a variation of the name Ezekiel? There is an opening at the top center of the "firmly sealed" entrance at Machu Pichu that looks large enough for someone of slender and maybe even average build could get through. I'd venture to guess someone has been inside. Aramu Muru aka The Gate Of The God's perhaps is a Stargate. How coolwould that be??? It's also a great movie! Regarding the Rhodope Mountain skull, which has conveniently "vanished into thin air". If it was believed to be an animal skull of some kind, that was most likely "damaged" over time, how would that explain the skull having an identical jaw line to Predator from the movies??? Add to that the mythical sanctuary that is alleged to be a library of knowledge found down a large rabbit hole in the same mountains...Interesting. Very interesting.

I once witness a Buddhist follower levitate a stone that was about 160 Lbs., from the ground where he stood to the top of a cliff about 50 feet above the ground, and he did it with little effort. If I have to quote wikipedia then it is described as follows
"The Kailasha (IAST: Kailāśa) or Kailashanatha (IAST: Kailāśanātha) temple is the largest of the rock-cut Hindu temples at the Ellora Caves, Aurangabad District, Maharashtra, India. A megalith carved from a rock cliff face, it is considered one of the most remarkable cave temples in the world because of its size, architecture and sculptural treatment,[1] and "the climax of the rock-cut phase of Indian architecture".[2] The top of the superstructure over the sanctuary is 32.6 metres (107 ft) above the level of the court below,[3] although the rock face slopes downwards from the rear of the temple to the front. Archaeologists believe it is made from a single rock."

But I thought, doesn't it look like a possible fly face? If flies, or genetically altered fly/human were created, say to protect area or??? , that would be heartbreaking. Imagine cognizant of being a fly and not human. How horrible. I thought it was spooky. That's a face like spider, fly, something that we associate with nasty bugs that tear and rip then feed themselves. Thank you. It's clear you put alot of effort in to your work. It's appreciated 👍🏻

    • @TheCrazyredheadaz
      @TheCrazyredheadaz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Probably with enforced labor of the indigenous peoples that they brutally conquered, along with the hundreds of other non horse riding Spaniards that helped row the ships to new lands in hope of a better future for themselves and a piece of gold. That "mountain" is actually a pyramid so old and covered in growth that they assumed it was a mountain too. Even if they did know it was a pyramid, building a Christian Church on top of it was pretty much the Catholic church standard practice when forcibly converting "savages" to take over their beliefs holy places and turn them into Catholic holy places seeing as they were already in the habit of going there to worship their gods anyway and hammer home that idea that Christ and the one true God are more powerful than their now defeated gods.
