The tomb of Qin (pronounced Chin - he's the one who consolidated all the warring tribes into one to create the country of China) is supposed to have a river of mercury not as a deterrent to tomb raiders, but to create a miniature version of his empire. Allegedly, the inside of the tomb was built to replicate the land and waterways. Also, the terra cotta warriors were duplicates of his actual army -- each face is different, sculpted to look like one of the soldiers. There are differences in the armor and weaponry too.

Never knew that thank u
Thats fkn bad azz
I was about to correct his mispronunciation. Scrolling down to the comments section and seeing yours at the top got me assured. 🤦♂😮💨
Look closer (19:59), that's not a centaur, but an archer standing behind a poorly drawn lion.
Good eye!
😂
Thank you!!! I thought I was the only one who noticed that is obviously a lion lol.
3:00 Why not use modern tech like fiberoptics and tiny mobile cameras on sticks? Just slip on through a crack or something to bypass the door and take a look.
I said use X-rays since opening that demonic Vault B is far too risky. Using X-rays to see what's inside is better than causing Pandoras box part two.
That makes too much sense.
There is not a lot of space beneath the door to even get the smallest speck of a fiberoptic in, I've visited the temple once, the locals think it's probably just the old royal family's personal belongings and many believe there might be some form of biohazard in there.
I think it's just a story to hype-up the temple so they will get many more visitors (=many more donations).
The 4 day ritual itself must be rigged by the temple authorities.
It's all about farming money. Nothing mystical about some old door with snake decorations.😂
The governing authority usually don't give permission.
the stories of the doors in this video sound like they would make for some great horror films
Kind of surprised none of these were used in The Librarians series.
@@LunaryxDiarmait yeah I agree also such a great series to watch thanks for your reply
There's another secret door no one can open! In the catacombs beneath the Vatican! It houses all the "dangerous" religious artifacts the church has found over the past few thousand years or so! 😊😱
tbh every door is facsinating if you dont know whats inside
For the nuclear waste, why couldn't you have an illustration or series of illustrations on the door depicting someone dying horrifically as a consequence of opening the door? It doesn't have to be an accurate representation of radiation poisoning. It just has to be clear that it's a person getting very sick and dying as a result of opening the door. It could even show their flesh melting off or something. I think an image like that would communicate across generations.
The problem with that is that whenever you design a warning to look like a warning, some people will assume it's a lie to deter thieves, and open it up anyway. Most tombs are etched with curses and threats of doom upon any who disturb them. Doesn't stop humans from cracking 'em open looking for shinies.
@joshuamarvin7400 There's a whole field about nuclear semiotics, how to communicate the danger to future generations.
One idea is to start a religion.
@@joshuamarvin7400 And the distance in time between us and those ancient civilisations is much shorter than the distance between us and future generations that will have to deal with the waste.
@@matthewcox7985 Religions don't survive that long, and even in the unlikely event it did, even with relatively young religions like Christianity, the understanding of the meaning being conveyed has changed significantly over a very short period of time. What we think of as Christianity today looks very different to the original Christians of 2000yrs ago. The trinity as a concept didn't exist until around 200 years after Christs death. Progressive Christians have significantly different understanding of Christianity than Southern Baptist Christians today. This is only around 2000 yrs there would be no way to ensure that 10,000 year from now the meaning would continue to be understood as intended by that religion.
On the buried nuclear waste, put periodic symbols and atomic structure symbols carved in stone and bas relief, along with art demonstrating exposure, sickness, death
On what languages
@@MrMikeCox123 In pictures like the Egyptians did i mean we figured it out so surely someone along generation will translate it and also once the doors get closed make it completely unopenable (eish logic
But then you may just run the risk of future cuvilizations thinking that we're just a bunch of superstitious donuts, right up until they realise that this site is dangerous.
That is indeed what they have done with a lot of things since the time some scrapyard workers cracked open a medical rad source. The new warning sign is very similar to what you described. They used to have "drop and run" on some sources but that doesn't help if you don't speak English 😅
@@MrMikeCox123 all of them
For the nuclear waste thing - what if you make a kind of a law or put a sign saying that "This sign must be replaced every 10 years into the current language being used here?"? Of course, that would mean the sign should always be seen and everyone must follow the rule, but this idea seems much better than the alternatives.
I have no clue what to do if humans move out of there, but uh... it's a start? The cycle could at least continue until it stops at a point where future historians can recognize the language.
Because much of the human race may die off or go into a severe population decline. If it takes a long enough time for a population to recover or change and there's significant cultural and language change no warning in a recent language may work.
There's documentaries on this, on how we can make an area appear hostile and what signs we could use. That's why the traditional "radioactive hazard" sign was changed.
As far as vault B goes, do you want zombies? Because that's how you get zombies
i looked on wiki and it says
"They opened the metal-grille door to Vault B and discovered a sturdy wooden door just behind it. They opened this door as well, and encountered a third door made of iron, which was jammed shut. The observers tried to force their way in but failed. So they decided to hire a professional locksmith to open or remove the door gently. Then in mid-July, before the locksmith came, the royal family got an injunction from the Supreme Court against opening vault B"
apparently 3 doors so my guess is a curse and possibility a grave because the others i don't think had that many doors
I'm from Sunderland and that door is really cool to see, but there's no mystery behind it. I didn't realise there was a cave behind it though, but really cool to see my home city mentioned in your video!
came to say this!, im from sunderland and quite a surprise to have it mentioned!
A cave what's in the cave
0:34 - Brave effort to pronounce it! Brought a smile to my face, ha...

@@alexispeyton649 Um, yep, considering I've been learning that word for a long time (I live in India so yeah). And I'm sorry if it came across as rude, it's just that I'm so used to it so hearing that sing-song pronunciation was kind of amusing
@@AKNikki217As a person from Thiruvananthapuram, i felt glad that he tried to spell the place's name. Normally for me, it's easy to say, but for people like him, it's somewhat challenging. Good try anyways.
I used to work at a Cavern close to Grand Caverns in VA. Many years ago the people who owned Grand Caverns let myself and my coworkers go into the sections of the Cave not open to the public. That entrance you have a picture of in the video is actually not Grand Caverns itself, it is Grand's "sister cavern" known as Fountain Cave. The entrance is actually up the hillside to the left of the Grand Cavern's lobby if you are looking at the lobby in the parking lot. It is very close to Grand, and potentially connected to it, just no connection has been found between them, to my knowledge. I have been in that one, as well. I did not however, find any cave monsters.
There is another under explored cave here in the Roanoke VA called "The Murder Hole" and it's as ominous as the name implies. The entrance is around 250 feet strait down and I have seen it before. Once. This is due to the fact it is on a Privet property and the owner does not grant visits to it much. Even if you do see it, getting down into it is a huge challenge. As far as I can recall, only 5 chambers have been explored and there could well be miles more to be found. So far, it is largely unexplored. I can't even imagine what's down there. The only other cave known to the public is the Dixie caverns. Thankfully they are a tourist attraction that is open year round and seemingly completely explored.
as a south indian, i feel bad for this guy trying to pronounce Thiruvananthapuram 🤣
I laughed and felt bad at the same time... 🤣🤣🤣

@@tdotjazzberryram61 Oh I am, don't get me wrong. It's just so easy for us that it can be amusing - but you're right.
Don’t we just love mysterious doors!
Because I love mysteries :D
i remember hearing that for the nuclear tomb, one of the ideas was to make a secret society to preserve the knowledge and warnings of the nuclear waste for future generations. no idea if it went anywhere
The risk there is if there is major catastrophize that severely depopulates the earth then there is a significant chance no members would survive.
Fact about houska: visitors don't hear screaming, there were speakers that played screaming sounds.
11:03 In fact, in Mexico, that skull symbol does represent danger. In fact, one of the most iconic scenes from El Chavo del Ocho (a Mexican series), Don Ramón tells the vecindad children, shouting at them: "This means DANGER, DANGER!" (Many in fact, hahaha)
11:45 I think they should still put word warnings on it in ALL languages because sometime in the future, if we are all still here, we are bound to recall one of the languages. And make sure that the languages are imprinted on a slab of metal with non rusting/decaying protections on it to keep it preserved as long as possible… and maybe one also on the inside incase someone opens the door because the one outside is damaged…. Seen far too many horror and sci-fi movies and played too many similar games to be beyond taking multiple safety precautions…
And you believe you're smarter than everyone else working on that project 😂

Hmm. Maybe the door under the Sphynx leads to a chamber filled with nuclear waste from a civilization that existed 75,000 years ago... ?
You ever wonder if a future civilization discovered our nuclear waste warning messages if they'd dismiss it as a dumb curse just like we do on Egyptian tombs?
Or maybe it's one of the entrances to Agartha
Typical. Some people only value riches! Kind of sick.
I love be amazed's voice 😂😂
I know some think the Sphynx rooms could change history forever if opened and discovered. Who knows.
Its easy enough to determine about room 873 rent 871 and 875 and use a measuring tape between the two doors inside and outside to fine out how much room is between the two.
Best way to stop people entering anywhere is fear.
The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear. And the oldest kind of fear is of the unknown.

"You don't have the right, O you don't have the right"
Hahaha nice!
i think under the great sphinx there’s a big library under it with lot ancient books and you have to go through lot of obstacles to get to it
The complete Bhangarh story:
Before it was built Babu Bala Nath used to meditate and when the greedy king ignored his request to not make its shadow fall over the fort, it was cursed.
Despite one curse, another curse befallen when Singhai, a dark magician, tried to marry Ratnavati, the princess. Singhai swapped ittar (scent) with a love potion but when Ratnavati realised what was going on from a weird odour, she discarded on a rock. The stone tumbled on the poor magician who cursed the fort.
Lights, music, screams, and apparitions have all been reported at night and anyone who steps in will never leave.
In 2011, a Redditer and two friends purchased their their tickets, snuck past the guard, and saw a zombie like figure behind bars, ominously grinning at them. That scared the what out of them and ran away to their deaths. The next day, the police came to investigate and declared no one shall enter the fort at night.
Another story shows a couple sneaking around the fort at 3 AM at not to see a witch.
One of the main reasons why I love your videos is that you give this writer so many ideas and inspiration! Keep them coming!
Not so fun fact: the videos on the channel "Be Amazed" are AI generated all they gotta do is write a prompt about a specific topic and the AI does everything. The people behind Be Amazed makes money for barely doing anything that's why they deserve to fall off
that first door can just be examined with an xray type machine to see whats in it or ground penetrating radar. if they dont wanna open it least let them use those to see whats in it
Xray requires some medium on the other side of the object to capture the image and assumes that the doors and material that makes up the wall allow xrays to pass through, they they probably don't.
Ground penetrating radar doesn't have great resolution, it would likely only be able to tell major structures. Kind of like a standard 2D ultrasound in pregnancy but worse, you can kind of tell there's a baby in there if you squint the right way and use a bit of imagination.
“…Indeed the 220 year old tomb was supposedly rigged with traps..”

3:30 WOOOOOO WE MADE IT IN THE VIDEOOOOOOI
3:27 actually
I think we should open vault B but instead of using people tender, we should probably use drones you know for safety so we won’t risk anyone’s lives
What if there's an airborn pathogen behind the door and when you open it, everyone on the planet dies within a week? No! 😂
There is enough technology available today that I'm sure someone can look behind the door. Just don't release the hounds of hell! 😂
Why does bro have dynamite 9:27
I would rather go into a door with ghosts on the other side then to go in Chernobyl’s door so I would at least have a chance.
Its already hard to understand what you are saying. But then you put weird noises in the video. Makes them really hard to watch.
@Mikesuch9021

The tours are of relatively short duration and radiation levels are monitored to prevent overexposure.

When I used to work for the Sandcastle Resort, on Cape Cod, we had quite a few of these. There used to be a restaurant inside the main building that closed in the 90s. Someone bought the restaurant space and turned it into a large apartment. They died While they were working with concrete in the basement. Bank took the space, and when I was working there the section of basement simply known as the dungeon had a sign that said "no entry screwed shut both sides." When we finally got in there, it was a massive maze of rooms. Old restrooms with steam saunas, packed with boxes of old files. A cedar walk in cooler full of drag clothes and odd things. In the main hallway is the hotel there was a Dutch door that had been screwed shut for so long that nobody knew what used to be in there. I finally determined that it used to open to the restaurant kitchen. Inside the(now) apartment it was just a wall. I removed the door and sheetrocked over it. But before I closed it up, I used black stain to write a message on the back of the drywall with my hands. Something for the next guy to find one day.
The 873 room should be investigated by Sam and colby
room 873 was merge with room 875 to make a bigger suite. You can access what use to be room 873 by renting 875. Stories are fake, I worked there...
Vault B looks like it's Harry Potter themed.
We got at least 700 more years until the Tardis is out of there, then we can open it.
I would definitely open Vault B. IMO there's not any valid (non-superstitious) reasons not to. 99% of anything biological would be dead (you can wear hazmat suits or the like anyway), and if inside was some sort of "deadly" weapons, there's no way anything in there would be a fraction as bad as what we already have. The benefits far outweigh the consequences
I feel like vault B is in Reality the real chamber of secrets from harry potter. if you want to open it better start learning parsoletung🤣
We have had a reactor that runs on nuclear waste since the 1950's
We stopped requiring them to use it before they even started.
Just one plant was ever built but it worked great
Actually quite a few of those "breeder reactors" have been built. Unfortunately they're expensive and produce weapons grade material so they're politically problematic.
@@AG3n3ricHuman we need to use things that don't create things we can't dispose of.
The waves around our coast have more power than the entire world needs
Nuclear waste produces heat, therefore could certainly be used to power a steam turbine for electricity production. We should be doing this. We could save more oil and coal.
Once you tell people not to do something we will try harder to what someone says not to do...

As a smal curiosity. I live in Norway, a cope of hours NW of Oslo. Here we still have traces of the Tsjernobyl disaster in nature. All animals (mainly sheep) out on summer pasture in the mountains Must be "cleansed" in the lowlands for at least a month before they can be eaten. You also should not eat mushrooms in the highlands.
Wow. That is interesting and horrifying. In U.S. we don’t hear much about radiation from it in other countries and how some other countries are still being affected. I’m sorry that this is an issue.
I live in the North of England. Until 15 years ago all our sheep were bought by the government and destroyed as they were considered too radioactive to enter the food chain after the Chernobyl disaster.
@@nobodynowhere2128 its pretty crazy its still a issue. But at least it's not any danger to be out and about in nature. Might want to think twice before eating any mushrooms though, depending on the area.

That Sunderland door looks fantastic, what a quirky way to hide the park keepers stuff 😂❤ Brilliant video guys, thank you 😊
11:47 just keep it entirley locked away with many layers of materials around it and seal it off completley because that much nuclear waste should simpily just stay down there right?
Ask the Marshallese people - they have one island , that's off limits to all , and has a concrete dome , which In need of repair , yet again . Due to the radioactive waste from the nuclear tests , conducted just after the 2nd world war .
The nuclear wast question is a good one. Once it is full the outside should be totally buried and hidden. An inner door would be the place to write warnings pictures and otherwise in the event future sensing devices or construction crews find it. You could also take pictures of the tunnels as they are filled with boring yellow drums of radioactive waste, but outlaw any publication of where it is. Someone curious can look it up and see it isn't that big of a deal. I would however make it expensive and difficult to access once sealed. No one would ever go to such expense to look at nuclear waste.
If you do a revenge video again, can my story be in it? Basically, I use too be friends with this kid we will call butt, butt wasn’t over protective, except he was jealous, he would usually tell me if I don’t stop being friends with my friends he would kill himself, so I stop being friends with 10 of my friends so I’m not responsible for his death, but he did that with ALL OF MY FRIENDS HE MET! And it started too get annoying, so when he told me to stop being friends with my best friend named faith because “she was dangerous” I stop listening too him, but when I told him that it was my sister b-day and I showed him her teddy bear, and he threw it across the yard, but little did he know, my sister IS DEAD, and I felt betrayed, so I didn’t let him touch my bear again, but he started too hate my other sister we’ll call MK, MK knew what butt was doing and yelled at him for it, so what did he do? He tried to kill her of course. But I stop him from doing it, but I really snapped when he made fun of my grandpa! Saying he wasn’t as important as him being bullied, then I realized what he really was, so I spent 5 months telling everyone what he did and everyone started too hate him and he was even suspended from school and while he was gone, people stop talking too him and left him, he tried too get back with me but I told him he was a monster that doesn’t deserve my kindness, and with that, we never talked again, and just for a cherry on top, I became friends with all my friends he made me leave, so please be nice and don’t force people too do stuff☺️
So u gave up 10 friends for 1 suicidal friend ? Why not just stop being friends with that one guy and stay cool with the other 10 ? I get he was nuts but you stopped being friends with him anyways so that was crazy !
Ya story kinda blows. You seem like the antagonist.

Geologists say that the sandstone ground beneath the sphinx wouldn't be strong enough to support its weight if you carve any chamber bellow it. Not a great place for a secret vault or whatever.
sometimes it's better to keep secrets hidden forever
Wouldn’t it be cool to go inside?
11:47 I would put the warning in binary or even in code with 1’s and 0’s. With technology they can always read the code. Even without it. It’s the best way to leave warnings.
And how would you say it's dangerous in binary?
Isn't binary code already the use of 1s and 0s?

I'm curious how many of these underground nuclear waste facilities already been sealed up.
There's one in the Rockies that my dad told me about getting sealed in 65! He said that he was working on sealing a mile long tunnel by collapsing the cave in one hundred foot section and putting a 1 inch sheet of steel every hundred feet! 😊
Well, for room 873, it would have certainly not hurt the video if you had investigated a bit deeper and checked that specific room in all floors had been similarly conjoined. If only a room in the middle was changed, it certainly raises suspicions
