Beautiful song from Tom Waits. I lived there from 1991 to 1997. On Cliff St. What ended my stay was a fire, the second of two on Cliff St. The first was from the crash of a single engine plane many years before. The Masonic Hall is still there and the fellows were gracious enough to chip in to help in my recovery. God bless you guys.
I lived in C.P. from 2005 to 2010, and must say it's a real trip to see how incredibly quiet and almost pastoral some of those century-old street scenes seem. I was also unaware that it used to be called Grantwood. Thanks for posting!

Tom Waits's "Martha" was an inspired choice to accompany the images, by the way.
