I wasn't completely blown away by anything but Metro: Exodus and Anthem were definitely standout games. Anthem is especially intriguing. Absolutely gorgeous, the sense of scale is impressive and the gameplay seems to be fun. I'll definitely keep an eye on it and hopefully the game delivers on the concept and premise.
I'd put money down that Anthem is a hype game. Not going to be nearly as good as they just made it look, it'll be another Watchdogs/Division/Destiny/Battlefront.
Don't get your hopes up imo.

All these "exclusives" are indies. Thank god they have 4K for them.
The marketing team really likes pushing that 4K support. Unfortunately the PS4 and XB1 could barley keep a consistent 1080p without sacrificing the framerate. It's definitely an impressive hardware bundle but if they keep trying to keep up with the PC market in terms of power they're just going to drive their consumer base to buy a PC rather than the next revision. Overall not an impressive E3 but I'll wait to see what the oddball Nintendo does with their new console before putting Sony's conference on a pedestal. Nintendos new console iterations at least make a substantial change over the last instead of bumping up the specs but they're software can carry them without the third party support Sony and Microsoft has.
Those powerful hardware are useless without great games.
But at least 3rd party will look great plus spending another $500 for a 4k 60hrtz tv will be awesome XD

Bruh..... Playstation has the most graphically impressive exclusives. What are you talking about? And I love how when this gen started, Xbox guys were saying its about games, not graphics since they had inferior hardware. now that Xbox has a $500 console coming out its all about graphics. From the start Paystation did both and will continue to do both better than the other consoles.

I'm a gamer since 83. My brother loves Xbox and I prefer playstation. However I think Microsoft took a huge step forward. This proves that where not going to see another Xbox or PS5 till at least 2020. As gamers we should appreciate choice. The fact that both companies added more horsepower half way thru is a huge win. I think Microsoft's goal is to have the next 3 years to make up ground. Worse case they can keep pace by having the best looking multi plats. I always looked at Nintendo as the gateway to gaming. There not in competition with Sony or Microsoft. A healthy Nintendo is great for both Sony and Microsoft. Phil has done a great job with Xbox. 90 percent of sales are multi plat. Nintendo receives very little on 3rd party. I think Sony will show most of the games from last year and the 3rd party deal games the most. Sony is releasing Days Gone,Gran Turismo;God of war 4, Detroit and Spider-Man this year. Microsoft is countering with Forza 7; State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3,Sea of Thieves and Battlegrounds. Microsoft does have some good 3rd party deals with Shadow of War.Metro Exodus,Anthem and AC origins to compete with Destiny 2, COD WW2 and Star Wars and Red Dead Redemption 2. I hope Sony shows that there going to support the Pro and with there exclusives compete with Xbox one X. God of war 4 is the perfect game on Pro to compete with the X. Next year it will be Death Stranding and Last of us 2 vs Halo 6. Both companies are very profitable and need to rely on sales the next 2 plus years to make up the R&D spent. There is nothing till 2020 to get the parts cheap enough to support a ps5. It's time to embrace the Pro. With the naked eye it will compete with X. No need to rush.

Assassin's Creed Origins, Code Vent, Super Lucky's Tale, Sea of Thieves, & Anthem look pretty interesting tbh as well as Xbox One X. Ok Microsoft, I see you doing big things.

i am a pc gamer my self and i also own a ps4 for exclusives and for games that are not for pc at all.
but i really belive in pc gaming because its chipper and it is nicer to play with friends. puting every game on pc and using its advantages like the witcher did will make gaming great again. but if i have to choose now, again, ps4 is better then abox.
Oh I don't know... I'm not an Xbone guy but they had some pretty cool looking games here. Maybe the ones that caught my attention are cross-platform anyway but just because Microsoft did their usual tech showcase doesn't mean they didn't also show off some cool games. There are reasons to be hyped for Xboners this year. :P

The SONY fanboys are butthurts in that comment section. Showing 42 games, Anthem, Assassin's Creed Origin, Sea of Thieves, Metro Exodus, State of Decay 2, Forza 7 and more with 4k capabilities and enhanced 1080p because of the 4k render.
PS4 was the better one between the X1 and the PS4 but the X1X is clearly way ahead of the PS4 in term of power.
I for one admit I refuse to buy any of this generation consoles because they were not really interesting and pretty much outdated the day they came out but this X1X is seriously interesting.
Anthem was really the biggest part of this conference though, WOW, I'm happy it's not an exclusive and I hope it will be cross-platform.
XB1X looks awesome for a console, but if you have a gaming PC you have absolutely no reason to buy one. I owned a PS4 and XB1 and a gaming PC. I sold my XB1 the moment playanywhere became a thing. I needed the money to pay a bill and buy Persona 5, but you get the point.

The X1X is the equivalent of a ~1000$ gaming PC for 500$ so if people don't have a gaming PC, the X1X might be the best deal there is to get.
A 4k GPU is 600$ alone, I was even just talking about the performance but if you consider the fact that it is build for optimized performance and has a 4k blu-ray player integrated (Which is 250-300$), not to forget that it coems with a liquid cooling system, the X1X is easily worth way more than a 1000$ PC. Sorry to break your little world.
It is not equal to a $1000 dollar gaming PC unless you are ONLY talking game performance on mid-high settings. The points you make about the blu ray and liquid cooling are technically correct, but ultimately overshadowed by the limitations of a console VS a PC.
Still XB1X is a bad ass console for $500. They are doing a lot of other things right now too. Backwards compatibility being a big one. I but still, paying even x2 as much for a PC will get you significantly better options, and still have every game XB1X showed at E3......
Diadlo it's a third party so I doubt it's gonna be exclusive to just Xbox probably a timed exclusive
When it comes to Consoles, its a matter of taste , i've try both and for me, Xbox is the Console to go for, and this E3 Show demonstrade that perfectly, a New Enhansed Console for this year, 22 exclusive games, 42 in total 4k enhansed games, Retro compatibility to Xbox One, Xbox360, Xbox ,....a Large catalog of Games on xbox Life, ....You can sai whatever about Xbox Vs Playstation , but for me this is the Console i need .
I think I expected more from Crackdown 3, it looked like a Saints Row game from last gen, but then again maybe they had to do that with all the destruction.

I'm not a fanboy, but I'm typically a Sony guy, and Microsoft brought it's A-game this year. With the possible exception of "Anthem" (between Anthem and Andromeda, it looks safe to say the golden age of Bioware might be a thing of the past), almost every other title has me excited. :)
Don't get why people are talking shit about this conference and pretending Sony's was good. All Sony showed were basically games we all knew about that were in development and that we've seen before. The Xbox conference actually showed NEW games like Metro and Anthem, that push the boundaries of gameplay and graphics which run best on the Xbox One X. I mean, if you're into fantasy and comic book characters maybe Sony impressed you, but even then there wasn't anything new. No press conference was great, but MS was most certainly the more exciting conference. And most people just play cross plats anyways, so the Xbox One X will be the best place to play those which is cool. I still agree they need more exclusives for the MS Windows 10 store and Xbox One. However, the only PS exclusive I care about is TLoU so it doesn't really matter to me personally since Xbox has more exclusives I care to play, and the BEST games are not exclusives anyways imo. Haters are going to hate.
Im a Playstation Person but i have 3 things to say. Mircosoft definatly won E3. And im fine with that. I am disappointed with Sony that they didn't want to join cross play on Minecraft and a Rocket Leuge and even I don't play those games I think that It a good start for both Nintiendo and Microsoft when working on Crossplay. What I have last to say which I mostly just noticed is 1 thing. PlayStation have personally always had better exclusives and that what's always won me over. But this differs Nintiendo as they work on console and Games. Microsoft and Sonys main job on a console is to make sure that it has good features, good graphics then it's the devopers who make the games. That's not the consoles job so when we say Microsoft is bad because they only focus on graphics. Not including Forza and games made my Microsoft but this is kind of good saying and that they're job when making a console is to have high power and graphics to play other devolpers games. This is my defense towards Microsoft. Though at the end of the day both are good consoles and I just wish the gaming community can be friends..... There is enough wars already let's not making gaming a war too😂... Plz like this so other people can see....😀

As someone who hasn't owned an xbox or Ps4 I gotta say this was a solid presentation nothing mind blowing, but great stuff for established XBOX fans. I'm not one of them but this Def wasn't a bad presentation

I saw nothing really in the exclusives that would push me to buy a Scorpion. I watched both, Sony and Microsoft and for me, Microsoft looked like it was trying hard to convince themselves as much as us that they actually had good exclusives. I have an XBone and PS4. I'm not buying anything new.
Metro Exodus looks like we got a Killzone 2 situation on our hands.

Don't really see the point buying a new console that will not have any exclusive games. I get games will look better but a lack of exclusive games really kill it for me. Just hard to justify an upgrade to play the same games I can play on xbox one.

The games look fun, but I see a strong marketing here that is trying to tie to xbox one x's beast performance capabilities, when in fact maybe one or two of the games on roster will probably actually use the hardware (not counting VR). The console is as good as the games available for it and just keeping that in mind, I'd say the line up looks decent.

Ive been on PlayStation for over 10 years and i might need to switch to Xbox if these graphics are that amazing!
Forza 7 looked so beautiful in 4k running at 60 fps, and 700 cars, sounds like a racers dream! To know ill be getting the best of the multi-platform games is more than enough for me at $499.. I have a xbox one and ps4 but for me, after the Xbox one's terrible launch they really did turn it around quickly. They have constantly been listening to the consumer and bringing in plenty of new features and updates and even introduced the preview program so that they can give us what we want. The Xbox dashbord is more intuitive and holds more features than the ps4, and the xbox pad for me is the best by a long, long way although the sticks are not as durable as sonys ( i have kids they break stuff lol)

I'll sum up the whole show for you in a few words 'exclusive, world exclusive, pre-order, exclusive and some meh games'.
if it wasn't for backwards compatibility stretching even further with regular Xbox games now I think this would have been a L for Xbox but I'm pretty fairly impressed with some of the exclusives tho still lacking but finally something that actually gives you a reason to own a Xbox. overall I'd say not to shabby Xbox. Could've been worse..

Congrats on a quality showcase, Microsoft and Xbox.
While I did see some games that interested me, 99% of those were multi platform.
Aside from Gears and Forza there weren't any Xbox exclusives that justify the purchase of an XB1X.
I would have loved to have seen a must own AAA exclusive on par with what Sony and Nintendo have and unfortunately they still don't have one.
The Game Pass is definitely a great offer for gamers and is a good selling point for Xbox, but I am sure Sony and Nintendo will offer something similar soon.
After five years of a console being on the market and coming towards the end of a generation one would expect to be seeing the best of the best in regards to big AAA first party exclusives and unfortunately in that department Xbox is definitely lacking.

People are complaining and saying Sony will easily win, but I disagree. The Xbox One X is excellent, with compatibility with all X Box one games, and and insane level of power. Sure Sony might win because of their exclusives, but Xbox was not so disappointing. And no I am not a fanboy. In fact I use the ps4 instead of Xbox One.

Faiz Azfar Eh. Like the guy above me said, a powerful console is great and all, but if I can't play my favorite games on it, then it's pretty much worthless to me. It was never about power, to me, and I honestly feel like it's the same with most people. Most people who want a super powerful gaming experience use PC's. The best thing about console gaming is the convenience, so I have to say that the heavy emphasis on backwards compatibility is a good thing for the Xbox One X (maybe one of the best things about the console) but even so... it's not enough to make me think that the console would make my personal gaming experience objectively better. And then even with the backwards compatibility, there really weren't many great Xbox exclusive games to begin with. There was Fable, Halo, Gears of War, and that's really all that I can think of. I dunno. If Sony announces a bunch of good exclusive games, I could easily see them winning because good exclusives will always beat a more powerful console.

I was just gonna watch this conference, but judging by the comment section, this is another fail for Microsoft. Another console? That's it? Just unbelievable. I don't care how good the console is, gaming consoles are not for anything else, but gaming. That is their primary purpose. We don't edit video, work on adobe suites, code, or anything work related on it so it doesn't matter how powerful it is if it doesn't have good exclusive games to back it up. I think Microsoft is making the Xbox irrelevant. Phil Spenser is not the guy for the job.
