This actually was a pretty good show at the time with exclusives and 3rd parties but it's a shame that Scale Bound and Fable Legends never released. As for exclusives, they had Halo Master Chief Collection, Halo 5, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Ori and the Blind Forest, Crackdown 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider (timed), Cuphead (timed). At the time, it seemed like a pretty strong lineup.
I hate to say it but this was better than Sony's this year.
But UbiSoft takes first place...RainbowSix and Division are the reasons why.

Neither Microsoft's or Sony's E3 was mind blowing. But overall I feel Microsoft had the better round of announcements so in my opinion they take E3 this year. Unless Nintendo are going to blow away everyone tomorrow. I guess the rumors may have been true with E3 2014 just being a set up to E3 2015.

man to think fable legends, scalebound and phantom dust all were cancelled (phantom dust was cancelled before e3 2014)
2014 was so bad for Xbox. Fable got cancelled. Phantom Dust Remake turned into an HD re-release, and Scalebound got cancelled. Not to mention Halo 5 did really bad critically for the franchise and Crackdown 3 got delayed 4 years.
In turn we got the awesome Sunset Overdrive which at least can be considered the Xbox version of Spiderman. But 2014 totally wasn't the best conference for Xbox, the 2017 and 2018 were amazing instead.

The 2014 one was one of the vest Microsoft conferences, way better than 2017, the problen is that most of the games here were either cancelled or a disappointment...

According to them, Crackdown 3 is experiencing a bit of problems, but nothing as serious as Scalebound.

As an Xbox 360 guy I switched to Ps4 just to try out its content and it did not disappoint me, but as I watch this conference it saddens me that I have to go on without my favorite franchise (which is halo), but honestly no matter how good the content and games are for the new gen consoles, I'll always be a 360 guy rather than Ps4 or the Xbox one.

Edwardprogers I had not watched the Nintendo presentation when I posted this. Personally I'm not interested in games from nintendo, but their online presentation was impressive yes. I really hope that Nintendo can play some catchup. They made some major mistakes in their first 2 years of the console's lifecycle, but their games do appeal to a lot of people. I hope those people will have a great experience on it.
Got chills just watching this! Definitely need to upgrade from Xbox 360 to Xbox One :) The new games that I'm excited for are Halo, CoD, RainbowSix, Division, Crackdown, and Assassins Creed.

Well, Phil Spencer did it. Xbox was really solid this year's E3. Good work, still getting PS4 first but definitely looking forward to grabbing an XOne later on, even more now than before.

You can't even hate... Phil Spencer is a good man and definitely the reason why i will be picking up an Xbox. Because of him, i can finally get the best of both worlds in this gaming generation. Kudos for bringing games of my taste to Xbox One... Phantom dust and Scale bound... maybe crackdown and forza horizon 2. Although ALL my multiplats would still be on PS4 i cannot and most definitely will not miss out on great exclusives on both ends because of some stupid fanboy war. Definitely getting an Xbox one come Novemeber. I think because of his good work, gamers can finally enjoy the best of both worlds or 3 if Nintendo is stepping up too.
I have PS4, but that halo collection is absolutely amazing! I wish Sony did this with one of their exclusive titles as I am coming from Xbox 360.
They already did the MGS Legacy Collection on PS3, but I would LOVE to see that make it to the PS4. I really need to play MGS4, I never got the chance to.

JordanM56 Really? Both systems have loads of games considering how long they have been out. If you are saying not many games you personally would want to play, then ok. But Sony and Xbox are pretty much even on the amount of AAA's available. Sony obviously having more in to total due to being more indie dev friendly.
Great presentation. I was a little underwhelmed by Sony's. None of their exclusives were too exciting but Sunset Overdrive looks amazing

I'm a ps4 owner and I can say that the Microsoft conference was better,it has all the common titles we always wanted,but some games on ps4 are amazing.

Actually Advance Warfare has been in development for three years, if anything, Titanfall copied them

Most of the games looked good because, they weren't actually gameplay videos. These are just cinematic trailers, the actual game play won't look this good :( at Lear Sony released gameplay videos in their E3.
Why can't we all be friends? I've a ps4 but this conference was better, they both have their big guns like halo 5 and uncharted 4 for ps4.

And this is how xbox started its new Era. People were not giving too much credit for them one year after the terrible e3 followed by the horrible Don mattrick internet. Phil Spencer had a lot to fix and a lot to prove. But it all started here. Who would have thought that 6 years after that they would be releasing the most powerful console of the generation and buying Bethesda to enhance their portfolio of exclusives. No matter what you think of xbox or playstation, you have to give this guy the credit he deserves. He saved xbox
still don't like the Bethesda deal as a gamer like i'm fine with buying studios because it's a single entity but Bethesda is third party publisher and they own multiple other studios that makes alot of games for all systems i want other gamers who love those series to be able to play these games they had before without buying another expensive console but every time i say that everyone like shut up fan boy and im like you do know majority of gamers don't give a shit about console wars.

Sony and Ubisoft was much better than Microsoft. They started with a trailer for games because that what they do. Not a herpes of explosion and guns. Microsoft had to announce independent games being in there consoles while Sony didn't have too because they already have them, they even mocked Microsoft by saying that there camera was always optional.
ya, and also ( I forgot what game, I think it was GTA 5) on PS3 AND XBOX360 Sony allowed people to transfer progress over onto PS4, I just giggled non stop when I heard it :P

I watched both Sony and Microsoft conferences and (this is my personal opinion so dont call me a fanboy) i like microsoft conference more than sony conference but dont get me wrong both showed amazing games

Oh man, how Xbox has changed since 😅 "Only on Xbox One" though basically all of it is now available on PC as well... Plus now a handfull of games are starting to migrate to PlayStation and Nintendo, regardless though (and I appreciate the porting as a PlayStation guy primarily and a Nintendo guy over Xbox for context, I buy/own all systems from the "Big 3") Phil Spencer has been a god send for Microsoft/Xbox and is such a great/fun guy too listen to and interact with 😁

Wow all 3 big console companies brought their A game this e3. It's too bad I can't afford the Xbox One and PS4 to go along side my Wii U. Well maybe when they both go down in price I'll get both and enjoy all the great PS4, XB1, and Wii U games, but until now I'm going to enjoy the ones coming exclusively to the Wii U.

I have to say after watching both press conferences, microsoft completely out did sony in every way!!! It's funny how xbox had the kinect first then ps4 comes with a camera......! Also xbox stuck to there word of making the conference all about the games and the games look amazing!!!
Play station had a camera back with their Playstation 2. PS3 was also compatible with that camera.

Holy shit this was sad. Even Nintendo had more exciting looking content to reveal than Microsoft this year. This wasn't all terrible, but my god was I let down. Watching Halo 2 maps with a face lift was the highlight of this entire show.
I watch this with mixed feelings after selling my xbox one. And builing a pc. No regrets though.

But I am excited to see how the new halo turns out and I think it's freaking awesome the fact they are remastering and activating all servers for Halo, Seriously, MIND boggling.
