Every single E3 conference reaction is a cynical jaded snoozefest compared to the Eazy Allies coverage. Nothing comes close to the sheer hype and genuine happiness of these guys.

Ilya Garulin Value. I bought a PS4 and my brother a Xbone. That way we have the best of both worlds. However he is thinking about selling his Xbone since we have a capable PC. I said to him, don't sell it just yet. You have invested time and money on games etc. So I defended it, to not be sold.
However it is getting really difficult to keep defending the xbone relevancy while everything goes to PC. So we both have a bad taste in our mouths because we could have invested in PC parts etc. That's what he was planning to do now with MS releasing everything on pc. AMD's RX480 is beast for just 200. GPUs getting better and cheaper. So all we need really is a PS4 and a PC for all the games basically. Pretty sure we're not the only ones thinking this.

IMO I would prefer no exclusivity at all and all games coming out on every platform. You would have a choice of buying a console for it's features and not for the games locked behind it's exclusivity, which should be an obsolete way of promoting your console
You can tell these guys REALLY, genuinely love videogames. most other journalist outlets would just smile meekly and clap and show no reaction. GT guys truly are the purest.
Just compare the Giant Bomb conference reaction video to this one. Those guys have gone beyond coolness and into jaded disaffection. They are bitter, they are burnt out... they are Dark Souls hollows. Now look at these loveable freaks here. Fiery enthusiasm. You know, the word enthusiasm comes from the greeks... it meant something like "the god that lives within". So I cancelled my sub to Giant Bomb (can't stand that cooler-than-thou Gerstman BS anymore) and I'm putting some money on Patreon for these guys. I love them. They get it. They get enthusiasm, and they spread it around, like some holy fire. Yeah.

back in 2008-2012, Giant Bomb was the best, hands down. So much fun, incredible chemistry and style. It's gone now. There's still a couple of lively embers there, like Brad and Dan, but Jeff's joyless shadow hangs heavy over all.
I agree, the site got much worse ever since Ryan unfortunately passed away, I can't really blame them but it just doesn't make for very good content.
I think Vinny is the only person from GB that I still really enjoy and respect but even he is on the side team now.

He's like the lame friend from highschool, the one you never actually liked but was part of the gang... who keeps showing up to reunions ten years later. Ugh.

I saw it too so I know what you mean. God help me, why did I see it with GiantBomb? Masochism? Old habits, I guess. Jeff is pure vinegar, just looking at his blank, sour face during the South Park bit made me want to throw a custard pie into it. Dan is the only guy there willing to defy him and loosen up, laugh openly at whatever he wants. And don't get me started on Navarro! What an asshole. He and Klepek hate South Park because of the whole PC Principal thing... they can't stand being ridiculed, as the political correct puritans that they are. Yuck. Goodbye, Bomba. I hope Vinnie, Brad and Dan find something else, eventually.
This is STILL the best game conference/show/presentation I've ever seen. It completely exceeded anyone's expectations, there were very few leaks, the theatricality of the show itself with the orchestra going into a LIVE 15 minute demo of God of War (2 years before it even came out!!). I just don't think something like this will ever happen again, especially now with everyone doing direct-style formats for their presentations. Maybe it's just me but I've always enjoyed the live shows with an audience much more than these dry, corporate directs that everyone does now.
after the xbox showcase this june, i have to agree. i hate this directs specially the suits talking with eyes staring at you all the time (staring the camera). When Sarah Bond came to talk about the games she looked like a fucking robot. its so much better to have devs come the stage to talk, and the suits looking to the public. also the reactions from the crowd... i mean, comparing keanu's appereance with and without the audience just highlights how vital the crowd is. i hope Keighley's show can get enough influence and viewership so he can get bigger games and developers to the stage.
Whenever I need a pick-me-up, I just rewatch this whole video. The hype that the Allies bring really lifts my spirits. Every. damn. time.

Iconic conference with iconic reactions from iconic people. Passion is everything. Watching in 2024.
Crazy that over 6 years later, these announcements made on that showcase still remain unchallenged and have pretty much shaped gaming for the better part of almost a decade and defined the eight generation of consoles and the beginning of the 9th, so far, with it's sequels.
Very true: God of War and GOW: Ragnarok, Spiderman 1 and 2, Horizon 1 and 2, Death Stranding 1 and 2, etc. The amount of games that turned out to be quality and spawn sequels from this conference is incredible and these games have indeed defined the PS4 and PS5 so far. Not to mention the third party titles like Resident Evil 7 (which brought Capcom back from the dead) and the Crash Bandicoot Remakes. Just incredible stuff.
@@crfstaley RE7, talk about a comeback. Not only did that game revitalized the franchise, but the whole genre and Capcom as a whole. Not to mention how it remains one of the best PSVR experiences, and same with it's sequel. That RE engine spawned the remakes, and that has caused confidence in making others like Dead Space and Silent Hill. History is seems has a habit of repeating itself 🤓
It’s the best E3 I’ve ever seen, I was choked up when Last Guardian came up. Just an unbelievable E3. The best conference ever. The music and pace is just perfect. And it has so many surprises
So I was talking to some people about how much I missed game trailers because of their amazing reaction to the Sony conference last year. Someone said you guys apparently still exist and it turns out you do!

Watching this with you guys was quite an experience. Got choked up frequently - you're always the best when it comes to E3 streams
I remember how last year after the E3 of Dreams Gametrailers just kept getting all of this bad luck out of nowhere and as the year moved on they kept getting smaller and smaller and moved around a lot until they suddenly closed which broke my (and many others) heart to hear. Now a year since the E3 of Dreams they are now known as EZA and once again they are graced with yet another E3 of Dreams as if to commemorate... no, christen their quick return, only this time they are free and unleashed (not unlike Kojima) to do things their way. This is a sign that this was meant to be guys, and I hope that EZA keeps growing and getting better and better because I know that I will be here every year, celebrating E3 through the good and bad with you guys who are seemingly the last bastion of hope in a otherwise jaded community/society that can't seem to know the meaning of the word enjoyment anymore, on behalf of those of us that appreciate this, thank you EZA.
Also I would like to thank Sony for basically rewriting what an E3 press conference should be. Funny, it's like watching Sony and Bethesda play a Chess match with everyone while MS and Ubisoft think they are playing checkers only to realize mid game what the actual game they are playing is, meanwhile Nintendo and EA still think this is hopscotch tournament.
I come back and watch this so much, and every time I realise how much I love video games
I'm used to seeing Huber hype, but that expression by Jones when Batman Arkham VR was announced is priceless. That is a face he doesn't make often or at all until now.

I watched this conference live with my neighbor, and we both went crazy at numerous points in the show. It was one of the greatest hours of my life. I watched this video all the way through just to see you guys' reactions, and I dare say I enjoyed it the second time even more, just because I got to see such hyped people enjoying this legendary conference.

This is the greatest E3 conference of all time. Even better than 2015! No others even come close. It was such a joy watching along with EZA and I still can't help but revisit it every few months for a huge shot of jolly. Simply outstanding!

This is the video that made me discover Easy Allies. The suits, the setup, the reaction from Huber and the Allies for Resident Evil 7 - this is the video that got me to become a Patron on Patreon and tune in each and every year for the week of E3. I watch these E3 reactions honestly too much, but it's the perfect thing to have on in the background while working on stuff. Back here in 2021, watching again.

This was such a huge conference for me. God of War is probably in my top 3 games of all time now, Days gone has been fantastic, Detroit was amazing before i wore myself out on it, Resident Evil 7 was really refreshing concept for Resident evil that blew over very well, I'm withering away waiting for Death Stranding, I'm STILL trying to 100% Spiderman, etc... We need this type of content in 2019.

The troll says to Kratos "Umfir fua fik fir Valhalla," which apparently translates to "You will not cross into Valhalla." So there's obviously some shit going on between Kratos and the norse pantheon.

Whenever I feel like losing hope for what I’m doing, I watch these people cheer for what they love, I have hope again.
I don't know if E3 will ever get back to this level of hype and genuine excitement like this ever again, especially if Sony never returns. I always come back to watch this specific conference every June because it is a masterclass on how to do a live presentation and every game shown in this show lived up to the hype in my opinion. This is also the video that made me discover Easy Allies in the first place as I wanted to see reactions to this incredible conference. Their genuine reactions and passion for the games made it even more fun to watch. I hope this years E3 can get back to something like this!

Watching E3 with the EZA crew was cozy and jolly.
What i really liked about Sony's Conference is they used the time that normally someone would be talking and made those sections longer gameplay demos. Also they didn't cut away from the demo to show the crowd or the Orchestra just focused on the games which is the only reason people watch these things in the first place.
