      Peak indeed. Even a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut! Just kidding, Christian! You are not blind. Just noting that you must not have realized what you were saying as you were saying it. I don't think any of them did. Great catch, @samuelkelly7513. ;-)

    Nobody ever speaks of the upset - levalley over dake in conference championships. Leaving dake the only 4 time national champ without 4 conference championships.

    The graduating basketball thing, some folks need to look at boarding programs that allow Post Grads. Or hear me out...tons of juco options.

      For sure. I did a postgrad year at a prestigious prep school in New England, and it was massive for my development.
      Given, I only wrestled for three years in high school before that graduated at 17. But still, I ended up getting recruited for division three wrestling and did pretty well.

    Tyler, it’s hard for people to get a degree in four years and play sports? Give me a break. I did it.

      I worked 60 hour weeks all through mine, no issues, and did at least an hour or two at the gym each day also

      Yeah but not everyone is as awesome as you, not all schools are the same level of difficulty, not all programs of study are the same level of difficulty, etc, etc. Not excuses, but if it were so easy everyone would do it . I did the something similar and graduated but struggled a lot.

    • @daytonasayswhat9333
      @daytonasayswhat9333 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@trainingoffice7543 it should be a struggle. That’s the whole point is to develop you. We’ve turned college athletics and some type of Peter Pan thing.
      There’s no reason anybody can’t play one college sport and graduate in four years. No reason at all. Take classes over the summer if you have to. That’s what I did.

      @@giacalonebuilding4443 good to hear. Good for you. It’s totally doable. I commend that. I didn’t have to work, but I did play sports full-time.

    Every team should laugh when this guy expresses any interest. Force him out and send a message to everyone else that collegiate wrestling requires some sportsmanship.

      That's cool in theory, until a school has a chance to bring in a former national champion. If coaches lose, they don't usually keep their jobs. AJ will win matches.

    • @CharlieB-gs5uk
      @CharlieB-gs5uk 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s not worth it. I think the common perception is? You don’t want that toxicity around you or your program. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him not get signed anywhere?

    • @trainingoffice7543
      @trainingoffice7543 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agree 100%. Over the years that 'snapping' back and forth has somehow come to be thought of as good directing. Like it is supposed to simulate a lot of action or something. I first noticed it many years ago in a stupid MTV surfing movie, now it is nothing but annoying. We don't do that in real life, snap our heads and eyes back and forth, so why would we like it on a screen? Not for me. Similar to the movie/TV/whatever camera that spins or rotates around,, as if to give a full-circle, 360 degree perspective on the character's thinking or emotion or whatever. FRL, please stop the over directing.

    Tyler, you are a fine young man but could you please not wear a bassitball* ball shirt on a show dedicated specifically to wrestling? I am just asking and it sounds like quibbling, I know, but I am old school and I just can't help myself. I know, the show embraces all sports, I know, I know... FRL - same request with the bassitball poster behind David, the plastic cover of which was reflecting harshly onto our viewing screens. Can I/we just have one place in the world where a shorty-pants, back-and-forth** running game to toss-a-bouncy-ball-through-a-ring does not intrude?
    *origin of 'bassitball:' search Cheech and Chong song/routine Bassitball Jones, hilarious. This channel has videos of it.
    **back-and-forth games: bassitball, football, hockey, field hockey, soccer, tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming (in a pool, usually not open-water swimming), dodge ball, capture the flag, jarts/lawn darts, red rover, simon says...there are probably more but at this point who cares...

    Waste of talent!!! if it wasn’t for the transfer portal his wrestling career would be over. I transferred from one school had to sit out a year, and it was never the same.
