Magnetic tank bags don't cause an issue anymore. Plenty of people I know and I myself have been using on all our rides with no trouble. Stock seats are not really supportive, so it's mostly recommended to get a touring seat or customise one according to your needs.
@@maganigovardhan2496 I personally was happy with the single seat from RE since I'm lightweight xD. However if comfort is your main goal (sacrificing looks) , then I'd say explore Sahara seats for ready made options or go to a local shop to modify your stock seat with better cushioning.
As an INT650 owner, my observations PROS: 1) Brutual power and torque 2) Smooth and refined engine 3) Cheapest Twin cylinder 4) Upright position and comfort ride 5) Retro look and bulky design, a headturner 6) Pillion comfort 7) Dual channel ABS 8) Tank like build quality, more metal parts and good quality plastic 9) Lots of customisation available CONS: 1) No liquid cooling, oil cooling with radiator 2) Heats up in city riding, which reaches to thighs 3) Heating of feets, should use shoes while riding 4) Mileage, avg of 18-20 kmpl in City under normal driving conditions. If driven aggressively then 13-16. 5) RE service is below average 6) Spare parts are costly and as well as the maintainence 7) Electrical problem kicks in above 10,000 kms itself. RR unit position is acquired and it fails early. 8) Undulations can be felt in potholes( Can be corrected by changing after market fork oil) 9) Instrument cluster lacks features for 650 standard
I have brought this machine but in barcelona blue colour and accessorised it and recently rode 713 km non stop which took me arround 19 hr.... Ofcourse with breaks in between for lunch and all... Though i had upgraded the seat and also added extra cushions in handle bars also... But yes wow man what a machine♥️
Love your content, love your passion for the motorcycles and not just seeing them as products to be reviewed….I myself do comfortable tours of 600-700km a day on my interceptor and agree with everything u said in the review. Wud definitely change the seat, tyres and headlight soon. I was also wondering if i cud get your opinion in deciding between a used 2018 Street Triple RS or a new 2023 Street Triple R considering the new updates.
Thank you :) To answer your question, the 2018 Street Triple RS was already loaded with features. The main difference between the R and the RS, back then, was with the suspension, since the power numbers were almost same. If you are getting a good deal on 2018, it is going to make you happy for atleast another 4 years.
Tank range of 350-450? My last bar starts blinking at about 210kms on a brim fill. Id be stoked to know it would run an additional 140 kms on the blinking bar. Or is it just me?
Body posture: You seem to sit upright comfortably with stock handlebar with no bar risers. But for most people including me the handlebar bar is a very far reach. I almost have to sit very close to the tank to grab the bar. Do you have long arms? Whats the trick? Tilting the bar towards me didnt help much.

it's tough in traffic due to its weight, otherwise height won't be any issue. you can get flat 1 inch sole sneaker, they will help a bit or for more radical change you can install 17inch wheels for a bit short seat height and other benefits.
Can probable give an honest feedback being an owner myself of an interceptor… just got back from a bike trip from bangalore to goa and back…few mods that i did… sahara seats.. handlebar raiser … plus the cycling shorts with pads.. you can do 800 in a day easily…

Hey brother✨️ Hows the bike in long run, and in given options today like SM650 and shotgun, n much more, which one would you choose if you had a budget of 5L again. Please guide me with your wise advise, planning to get one soon.🤗
Hi Strell, need your opinion on my dilemma. I currently own Reborn Classic and a Hayabusa. After buying Busa last year, somehow I am feeling Reborn Classic way too boring. I want to replace Classic with something exciting. Classic does dual duty of city rides and occasional weekend rides to nearby villages for solitude. Sometimes wife accompanies me and she finds Classic conformable. I've shortlisted Interceptor (New) and Street Twin (Used). The budget is 4 to 4.5 lacs. Though, Interceptor looks no brainer, I am do not find it special and feel that I may outgrow it quickly. I am not sure about pillion comfort too. While Street Twin gives Badge satisfaction, I am not sure whether buying 6-7 year old Truimph will be a good idea. I plan to keep bike for 5 to 7 year and won't be changing it quickly. Your insights will be helpful.
A question related from the buyers perspective what will you suggest someone who is planning to buy or rather confused between the Duke 390 and interceptor 650 , I know they are totally different from each other but the point is that which is more value for money the 650 or 390 considering the bike as for daily riding which will be more easy on me (as a new rider)
Have the duke 390 and ridden the interceptor, I feel the interceptor is an old school robust layed back cruiser whereas Duke is a modern light and energetic hooligan with stiffer ride. So depends on your usage if you want comfort go for interceptor , if you want something sporty and fun go with the Duke. Both have more or less similar performance. Hope that helps :)
Let me introduce you two personalities who go out for ride. 1. Riding fast, filtering, low patience, high power to weight ratio, no care about mileage => he rides the 390 2. Ride cruisers, patient enough to ride through traffic and start of signal, gives more preference to comfort than power, knows to handle heavy motorcycles => rides I650
Even though it's the reasonable price for a twin cylinder engine with that sweet rumble, the ergonomics makes u think again.. It's the same scenario with interceptor, gt and super meteor.. Each motorcycle is kind of unique and appeals to a specific set of people.. But would like to know😅 which one will u buy among the three... Which motorcycle appeals to u the most if you happen to buy😂wanna know strell bro❤
Super Meteor: for highway cruising, feet forward riding and best quality of materials Interceptor: daily rider, can do a bit of everything Continental GT: taking on the twisties
Awesome! When will you make a 15-20 mins more detailed version? Can't wait. Countless times I've refrained from indulging, but then I hear the twins, and I check my bank balance again for a miracle 😛. Also, what do you think, is it just a luxury purchase or is there any practical application given I will seldom travel beyond 200-300kms?
Haha. A detailed review is already uploaded. I650 is not at a luxury purchase. It is in its own league with RE quality. For a serious traveller, this one is more than enough to munch miles over highways.
