In the other vid it looks like she's nervous/ pretend laughing (the combatant turning days something as well), like she feels she has to & didn't want to be embarrassed, just going skiing with it. Maybe it's her first time
Bill, you HAVE TO come to this club tonight: Moisters. It’s got everything: an Olympic pool filled with Stephen Hawkings’ bathwater, ex-IRA bomb makers, that guy with the lazy eye that mows the lawn in front of Aldi’s . . . .
So, Stefon is hilarious, but I think the reason the character is so loved (at least to me) is because of watching Bill break, which he was always doing with the Stefon character. Especially when you find out Mulaney was often purposely trying to get Bill to break with surprise jokes on the cards.
Ha, I lived in the building above Joe's coffee on 23rd and I used to see Bill Hader often getting coffee there. It's funny to see him explain that character was based on the barista who worked there.....my memory of seeing Bill was that he always looked hungover every time I saw him getting coffee. It was usually when I was walking my dog, I'd see Bill shuffle past me with his eyes half open and go straight into Joe's coffee.. I have no idea if he was hungover or not, or if he drinks booze or not, but I remember Bill always looked hungover to me. Maybe he's just not a morning person, till he gets his coffee.
I have nothing against Bill Hader the man but I have always hated the character Stefon that he is so well known for. I'd be digging deep for any legacy other than that one at the end of the day.
I love the look on the interviewer's face. She is just delighted with this whole experience.
@Box Addict pfft. She’s just enjoying herself.

This is like the 50th Bill Hader video I've watched in the past two days. I can't stop and help me.
If you find a way out, leave a bread crumb trail...
I could have written this...
This is like that joel haver video about when you find someone who had the same problem as you
No. I wont.
Same, I need help too.
I can't get enough of him. Help me.
Bill Hader is literally one of the only people to tell a story completely normally and it be better than nearly all the stand up available atm.
You need to open up to other stand up bro
He's funny no doubt, but if youthink that's the funnier story you've heard you need to watch more, & better stand up
you need to check out John Mulaney. They have a similar style.
I really hope the world gets to meet the real Stefon one day
Kate McKinnon is a buddy of his.
i’ve listened to him tell this story probably over ten times and i would watch him tell it again until the day the universe ends
Imagine being that barista
That's the genius of a character like Stefon, it's based on a real person...
Bill Hader is awesomely talented.
I love the relationship that Bill has with Fred Armisan, these guys should have a show. 2:49
@@vincentconforte7115they do
@1:29 I totally did a snorty out the nose laugh out loud!! Great story 😂😂

this comment just kept getting better
That host has an amazing smile. She’s gorgeous.

Yey, Stefon!
Ok just wanted to point this out. 450k views, 6 years old and only 14 comments
Yea it weird right?
It would've been interesting if that barista had ever walked in on a taping of SNL back in the day.
Why didn't The New Yorker post the entire video?
To this day, Kanye doesn't get it.
Alfalfa Male That was the last vid bud
I thought the comments were glitched
She doesn’t laugh she just gasps for breath
This video would be funnier if Lizzie Widdicombe was my wife. That laugh, I'm dead!
She's so into him doe...
And this is why you should never trust a creative artist with your friendship
Bill is hilarious.
It’s so jarring to see him doing Stefon’s voice while looking like normal Bill Hader
Is this guy Dwight's brother?
the interviewer is beautiful!
ikr
@2:14 does she call him Ed?
She says “and has that-“ but then she changes it to “have you” to make it make more sense as a sentence
U deaf bro?
the host is quite beautiful
Hader should have done a Stefon movie. It probably would have done well, as well as any other SNL cast movie..
Human parking cones
The host is feeling cold.
How can a writer say the word: got ten
i know a stefan lol
"Broken Glass" refers to meth
God the host cute
That girl wants him bad
Who doesn’t?
This woman doing the interview may be the most awkward and cringe worthy interviewer I’ve ever seen

If you really think thats his legacy then you don’t know anything about bill
Bill is funny. But not that funny.
