Congrats on the kid. We had one 8 years ago and what a wild ride it has been. Once s/he is born and you and your wife are home alone you will be like "oh my God where is the manual?" and realize your experiment didn't actually come with one. You both will breathe deeply and figure it out and have much joy, lack of sleep, worry and love. You two will do great. Enjoy the ride!
Thank you for the shoutout good sir, shouts right back at ya!

Wonderful interview. Thank you so much for the great questions, it was so nice to learn more about Moog, Amos, their ideas and perspectives, and about how my beloved Sub 37 came to be!
@@mylarmelodies yeah i fell in love with those synth sounds as a 9 year old kid. my dad ( RIP ) did hear on the run from pink floyd and that was the most beautiful thing i've ever heard. i " dad whats that sound " my dad " thats somehing called synthesizer son" so i love synths since i'm 9. pink floyd were my fav band and stil is and the dark side of the moon is in my top 6 fav albums of all times. much love and support to your great channel from munich/germany. yours , diwkids and hainbach's are on repeat in my studio. thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!
Amos is about as legendary as Bob! Great interview and thanks for putting it together. Now my only question is how does that duophonic easter egg work on the Sub Phatty?!?
Thanks Alex...and welcome back! We've missed you! That was just great! Fascinating, entertaining and fun. What a cool dood Amos is. On a different note, I guess we'll hear the pitter-patter of tiny mylar-feet just before Synthfest, then? Hope all goes well with the "genetic experiment"!
Great episode as per usual. Congrats and best of luck as to the whole spawning thing. With respect to you last question. I think the line between sequencing and playing an instrument is going to become more and more fuzzy as time moves on and we're going need a new name for whatever it becomes.
Upon hearing this, my murf perked up and phoned home, and I heard whatever planet Amos was on when they made it confirm an order of a hundred thousand pizzas.
Many congrats on the genetic experiment! My daughter was born in March & it’s been a paradigm shift to say the least! Be great to welcome another member to Modular Dad Club 😀
1st. Congratulations on little person. 2nd. Memorymoog! Check out an artist called Matthew Bourne. He's done an album using only a Memorymoog and nothing else called, err... Memorymoog :D It's awesome. I've seen him perform it live. 3rd. Squid Salmple. It looks good, but I was more taken with 1010 Music's Bitbox 2.0. So much so I'm going to buy one. Great podcast as always
Thanks!! Funnily enough I bought the Matthew Bourne album on sight - how could I not, with that cover?! And I’ve heard some folks say they didn’t love the ‘sound’ of the Bitbox, but on paper it looks amazing, might just be a personal thing. Let me know how it is!
Your intro monologue ....ever thought of taking improv classes? (: you would excel srsly. W H A T? You'll be a dad in september? That passing reference went almost by me. Congrats! Having kids is awesome ..and terrible of course. (:
mylarmelodies jebus man, don't go directly for payment via pocket money. Start with 'ill feed you, clothes you and house you for free, so you do what I say until you're 18'... When that fails, go with the candy and then the cold cash🤪... Great podcast btw. Amos is indeed a very listenable person
old interview I know, but great to hear Amos' thoughts 👏🏼

@@mylarmelodies I care not what the "meat" is crafted from, I only care for its crunchy, herby, garlicky opulence.
Watch out for those "small genetic experiments", they tend to become quite loud (but also congratz)😆
Hah!! Quite excited to have a small synthesist who I can jam with...and perhaps who could help me edit podcasts for pocket money ;)

@@mylarmelodies in that case be careful
